I walked into my first class which is history with Mr matthews. I sat down next to a brunette with brown eyes.

She looked over at me and smiled. I smiled back.

"Hi." She said.

"Hey." I said.

"I'm Riley."

"I'm Lucas."

"Are you new? I didn't see you at my middle school."

"Oh yeah I moved here from Las Vegas, Nevada."

"Really? Wow. That's awesome. Did ya gamble and stuff."

"No I'm too young too."

"Oh."

"Yeah but I did go to one of those wedding places."

"Haha. Really?"

"Yeah."

"That's funny."

"Yeah."

"Want to be friends? You see I don't have a lot of friends because I'm a straight A student and I'm basically a geek."

"You don't look like one."

"Oh but I am. I know how tall the pyramids in Egypt are. I've never been to Egypt. And there not in the textbooks either."

"Wow. That's pretty impressive. We'll Riley I would love to be your friend."

"Great."

We smiled once again.
