(POV none, in the skies above Mobius)

"THAT FUCKING HURT, YOU KNOW!" Eclipse shouted at Misty, angry at the fact that Misty fired a grappling hook to his manhood.

"I know," Misty said, then added, "And I still can't believe you thought that Swift was captured by a booby trap on the Death Egg when there aren't any."

"YOU MEAN THAT YOU WERE PUNKING ME EARLIER!?" Eclipse asked, shouting when he did.

"That's correct," Misty told her, which made Eclipse even more angry at her.

"Okay, that's it. I'm asking it," Eclipse said, then asked Misty, "What is your problem with me!?"

"Come again?" Misty asked.

"Ever since you joined our team, you've been ignoring me, claimed yourself to be better than me, and you've even made me a laughing stock in front of others on one occasion," Eclipse told her, then asked, "And now, you've made me reach the point of where I must ask this: Why can't you just accept me as an equal for one fucking second!?"

"BECAUSE I'M FROM A RACE OF HEROES AND HEROINES, AND YOU ARE FROM A RACE OF FUCKING MURDERERS THAT BARELY SHOW ANY FUCKING MERCY AT ALL!" Misty shouted at Eclipse, then added, "WHEN YOU MOTHERFUCKERS LAND ON A PLANET, THE ONLY THINGS THAT YOU LEAVE BEHIND ARE THE SLAVES THAT YOU KEEP AROUND JUST TO DO THE FUCKING DIRTY WORK FOR YOU! THE VERY FACT THAT A FUCKING BLACK ARM LEADER CREATED YOU ALONE MAKES ME DESPISE YOU! IN FACT, IF YOU CAN DO YOUR BEST TO CONVINCE ME NOT TO KILL YOU RIGHT FUCKING NOW, THEN THAT WOULD REALLY BENEFIT THE BOTH OF US!"

"Why we've fought so many planetary wars, why we use other creatures as slaves, fuel for our Black Comets, and food for our nourishment, and why we've been stealing the nutrients of a planet's soil. They all have the same answer," Eclipse said to Misty.

"AND WHAT WOULD THAT REASON BE!?" Misty asked, shouting when she did.

"BECAUSE WE WERE DYING! WE WERE AT WAR WITH EXTINCTION ITSELF! WE WERE IN THE MIDDLE OF A FIGHT FOR OUR VERY OWN SURVIVAL!" Eclipse shouted to Misty, then calmed down, and said, "It is an undeniable and, I must say, fundamental fact of life that when a species of the animal kingdom is faced with extinction, every alternative is preferable."

"Why do you have so much anger towards the Black Arms, anyway?" Shifter asked.

"When Black Doom's army landed on Mobius, my parents and I were among the first who were captured," Misty said, then added, "My mother was eaten alive by the infants, and my dad was converted into fuel for the Black Comet. I was too young for either, so I was just a slave. They cracked their whips at me countless times, most of which were just for fun. When the Black Comet was destroyed, I came out of the chains that had imprisoned me for what felt for like an eternity broken, scared, and alone until Rouge found me and helped mend my mental wounds."

No one had a response to that, mostly because before anyone could, an explosion on the ship happened that shook it up.

"What the hell was that!?" Shifter asked.

"Those flying demons from before came back and hit us with another fireball," Carol told him.

"Well, then return fire!" Shifter said.

"Yeah, here's the problem: They went back down to Hell like before," Carol said.

"And I'm going to guess that a member of the Battle Bird Armada heard the explosion and is going to appear out of nowhere and try to kill all of us," Shifter guess, sensing the pattern to the whole demon bounty hunter ordeal.

"I highly doubt that it's going to work like-" Eclipse started before he was interrupted by Misty, who was looking out the rear to check for hostiles, saying, "Heads up! Speedy and his patrol's on our tail!" Speedy's patrol unit, including himself, consisted of four men.

"You were saying?" Shifter asked Eclipse.

"Never mind," Eclipse said.

"Who's Speedy?" Lilac asked.

"He's the son of Battle Lord Kukku, who is the Leader of the Battle Bird Armada and the Egg Boss who controls the skies," Shifter told her.

After he said that, one of Speedy's men fired a rocket that barely missed the ship, and Lilac said, "He seems nice."

After she said that, Misty went into the cockpit to help Spade out by firing the missiles when necessary. After he got just a little bit underneath the patrol, Spade slowed down the ship to allow it to get behind them.

"Nice move," Misty complemented, then added, "Firing missiles." She then fired four missiles at them, but due to how small and agile they were, they splitted up, tricked the missiles into hitting the ground, and then regrouped behind the ship. After that happened, Carol came to the doorway that lead to the cockpit and asked, "Can't you get us out of here!?"

"I'm working on it," Spade told her. Then a light and an alarm went off next to Carol and she asked, "What does that alarm mean?"

"It means that they have missile lock on us," Spade answered.

"That's bad," Carol said, pointing out the obvious.

"Yes, that's bad," Spade said.

"Take evasive maneuvers!" Carol shouted to Spade.

"I'm trying!" Spade said to her.

"Well, try harder!" Carol shouted.

"Hey, Carol," Misty said to Carol, then asked, "Do me a favor, would you?"

"Yeah, what is it?" Carol asked, then Misty closed the door in front of Carol.

"Thanks," Misty said.

"YOU STUPID BITCH!" Carol shouted, which was barely audible behind the door.

After firing their missiles, Spade said, "Releasing flares," and a bunch of flares shot out of the top of the ship, but a few of the missiles had barely hit it, causing it to rock for a little bit.

" I hate planes!" Carol shouted, then hit her head on the wall, which knocked her unconscious. After seeing this, Eclipse was concerned for her.

 "Everyone hold on back there,"Misty said, then added, "Things are going to get a little..."

"Bumpy?" Spade asked her.

"I was actually going to say, 'crash-y,' but yeah, bumpy works," Misty said.

(POV none, Thunder Plains Zone)

After flying under a thunderstorm, all of Speedy's men were zapped, but before he could join the fates of his men, him and the ship hit the end of the storm.

"Okay, someone back there needs to do something, and they better do it fast," Misty said to anyone that could get Speedy off their backs.

"Stay safe, kiddo," Eclipse said to the unconscious Carol, then went up onto the roof of the ship thanks to a roof access that was close to him. He had a difficult time trying to stay balanced on it, but he managed to get the hang of it.

"Well, here goes nothing," Eclipse said, then fired a Chronon Stop at the flying Speedy, which managed to connect, shouting, "CHRONON STOP!"

After that happened, Speedy was stuck in time for a short amount of it, but enough to lose him. Eclipse managed to get back inside after that, and after finding a safe place to land, Spade set the ship down.

(POV none, Stone Stormlands Zone)

"Are you sure that it's a good idea to do this so close to Egg territory?" Eclipse asked Misty.

"Who's going to check out a spot that they already control?" Misty asked him, trying to get the point to him?"

"Good point," Eclipse replied.

"Anyways, we don't have a lot of time, so let's make this brief," Misty said, then added, "There are two targets that we need to take: An AI called the Simulacra, and another Chaos Emerald that's being transported to the Mobius Cult of X hideout."

"I'm guessing that they don't keep those two in the same location," Lilac commented.

"What, do you think they're stupid?" Misty asked rhetorically, then added, "Of course they wouldn't."

"Which means that we're going to split into two teams," Spade said.

"That's right," Misty said, then added, "Team A will go after the Simulacra, and will be composed of me, Lilac, and Spade. Lilac will take charge due to the fact that she has more experience as a leader than me."

"Did you just compliment me?" Lilac asked Misty.

"Don't get used to it," Misty told her, then went back on topic, saying, "Anyways, Team A's primary objective is in a skyscraper that's in Spagonia, and it's supposed to be abandoned, which means that the lights will always be off when we get there. Not only that, but the container that has the Simulacra is unknown."

"How unknown are we talking here?" Spade asked Misty.

"Unknown in that the only thing we know about it is that it will most likely have a big, red X that was painted with blood," Misty told him.

"We believe this because that's their insignia," Eclipse said.

"When we get to the last bit of the mission, I'll call Rouge and ask her to pick us up, if you know what I mean," Misty said.

"Extraction?" Shifter asked her.

"That's right," Misty answered, then added, "Now, Team B will be composed of Shifter, Eclipse, and Carol. Shifter will take charge because knowing our luck, once they get the Chaos Emerald, a response team will most likely pursue them, and Shifter is the best one here when it comes to improvising."

"That's true," Eclipse said.

"The Chaos Emerald is going to be transported across a highway that's close to where the Simulacra is with a member of the Cult of X, so the response team is definitely going to be from the Cult of X," Misty said to everyone.

"Yeah, we're definitely going to need Shifter on this one," Eclipse commented.

"Once the Chaos Emerald is in your position, don't let them get it back, and if they get they're hands back on it, don't let them get away with that Emerald," Misty told them.

"Got it," Shifter told her.

"Now, let's go to work," Misty added, then they all got onto the ship to get ready to begin their missions. However, a camera nearby caught the whole thing, and the one that saw it was a member of the Northamer Egg Army, who told his Egg Bosses about this, who told this to Eggman.
