Perching on the tall oak tree residing close by Diana's bedroom window was a red sparrow whose feathered wings glittered in the faint rays of sunlight that escaped the clouds. Pruning it's feathers for whatever insects nestled in them from the flight here. Not too concern about the cleaniness unlike most birds since they did not focus on appearances. Their green gemstones like eyes were focused solely on the young girl leaving the house with the Diamond Faction Dragon she was partnered with. They watched the two for a few minutes before it flew down to a man dressed in a white and light blue jester outfit. Light blue diamond symbols were painted on his yellow citrine eyes.

The man had a height of seven feet with skin that bares a porclein white. Medium length white hair which strands mimic the feel of ribbon. Light blue diamond symbols were painted onto his citrine yellow eyes. He had to use a special brand of cosmetics to keep them from ever fading. The jester outfit he wore was white on the right side, while light blue on the left. Three topaz buttons descending the outfit. Completing the look with the traditional jester hat. Possibly the only jester clown to pull of white heels with light blue crystal acting as the heels.

"Our sweet "Diamond Queen" and LE0 are on the move. Drogo seems very clear not to allow this mission to fail. Odd though that...." His eyes looked at the sparrow resting on his arm with amusement and a sense of curiosity. "That the one bakugan who serves Drago and Marduk yet whose loyal to the one who saved them. The "Diamond Queen" Code Eve who took you into her faction" The bird narrowed their eyes at the jester with a "SHUT IT!!" look.

"Augh!! Why is Brono so annoying?! Though if it meant that he could see her again, then he gladly assure that the mission succeed.

Brono put his hand down in front of the red sparrow before he raised it again. Once his hand was raised, a red diamond bakuball fell into the palm of his hand. "Fiery Ruby Rubanoid, Avain Dragon". Time for the mission to commence.

Dian never been this excited since meeting Leonidas. Today happened to be "Mascot Wars", when two lovable television show mascots compete for title for number one. Due to a large majority of fans being brawlers. Two individuals have been selected to represent each side in a tag team brawl. This war was Myu Myu VS Tomphie.

Meaning that one of their opponents had to be....

"We are going to be facing Shun?  Interesting...." Leonidas rested on his partner's shoulder as they hurried to the event location. He had been curious to when they would face the Aquos Brawler of the Awesome Ones again.

He had to face Hydorous eventually. Ready or not....He could no longer avoid this confrontation...

"Yeah! He is fighting on Team Tomphie with someone called Admiral T. Must be a super fan like him" Dia could not help but find that name familiar. Excitement for being one of Myu Myu representatives.

YES! She has a chance to help the Myu Myu franchise!

"Hmmm..." That name did not sit with the diamond dragonoid either. He would harden his defense for the sake of Dia safety.

This was something that she looked forward to. Everything that has recently happened, Dia needs something to get her mind off things. No one is going to take this joy from her.

HE WOULD MAKE ANYONE WHO TRIES....MET A DEMONIC FURY OF THE DIAMOND FACTION!!

"Our partner goes by Brono who is said to be a big of a Myu Myu fan than me. Though nothing else" Dia made it to the entrance where the employee greeted her to the stage.

Brono.... The mysterious jester that has been sky rocketing through the brawling ranks. What kind of brawler was he?

There the jester waited for the girl whose white hair was like seeing a blanket of white snow. Those beautiful golden eyes were a sight to see.

"Hello there" The jester eyes looked at the young child next to him. To think she was indeed the reincaration of the "Diamond Faction" ruler.

"Hello. Are you Brono?" Polite even in her rebirth. He seemed pleased that never changed.

Made him proud to be given this form to stand by her side. Even if this was for the sake of the mission.

"Yes I am. It is an honor to brawl beside the one who is the sole Diamond Brawler" That was one of the rare times that she was called by that title.

She hates to admit that she had gotten used to "Demonic Brawler" as a title. She really has to find a new title right away. Though Leonidas actually loves "Demonic Dragon" as his tile, takes far too much pride in it.

"Thank you. I look forward to brawling beside you too" She got in position as Leonidas went into her hand in bakuball form.

Sounds of footsteps were approaching them from the other side were drawing near. Soon Shun was at the other side of stage. There with him was someone that brought fear in her eyes.

No....Why is he here...? Why...is Shun with him...?

"I see we met again, Diana Jenkins" His voice made her skin crawl. Wanting to vomit the breakfast she ate only two hours ago.

Before her eyes, Armstrong Tripp. Believing it had all been nothing but a nightmare. The nightmare had broken  out the land of slumer fantasy and arrived in the land of realty.

Shun stood beside him with his dull red eyes looking back at her-....Wait...red? Shun eyes were never red....

Something was up! Leonidas bakuball shook with anger at the sight of this! Humans much like him only make his anger go into a full savage out roar.

"A friend of yours?" Brono asked jokingly at Dia. Though the pale face on that girl made him see how this was no joke.

"I learned that you were one of the representatives for this event. I simply had to make sure that I be the partner of who would be on the opposing side. How pleased I was to know Shun would be my partner" He laughs.

"Shun! Why are you with him?" Dia asked. Deseparate to know why a friend would be with such a terrible person.

However the Aquos Brawler stayed silent. Remaining unmoved like a living statue without any means to move. Only red eyes that faintly illuminated.

"My newest soldier can not hear you anymore. He only will respond to the order which I give. Now I think I'll take your bakugan now" He tried to get to Dia but Brono blocked his path.

"You really are unruly sir if you would steal from this dear girl. Though you are a fraud of the Tomphies to used this event for your own personal gain.  Fans across the world look forward to this event and you have the audacity to ruin it!" Brono not longer found this amusing since he really DESPITE humans like this.

The crowd followed up Brono words with a fiery uproar filled with rage. They were here to see which team would claim victory for their mascot. Not to let some bald guy ruin it with his dumb plan!

"BRAWL! BRAWL! BRAWL! BRAWL! " Chanted loud and proud among the fans of both sides.

They only seemed interested in the brawl. Tripp whole confession did not seem to matter. It only proved that no really saw him as a threatening foe.

"GRR...You insolence br-" Just as he was ready to yell back. An idea popped into his mind.

With Shun at his side, he could take Diana and the jester man down. Then the rare bakugan they possess would finally be his! HAHAHA!! He might as well give the people what they want.

"Fine, I'll play. I am still a representative of that derpy teddy bear" He got out his bakuball . "Prepare to lose!" He then brawled out his Darkus Cloptor and Haos Pandoxx.

Shun followed his example before rolling out Hydorous. The Aquos lion let out a fearsome roar as he entered the stage. His eyes held the same red shade as Shun.

"Hydorous....Not him too" Dia still could not believe that this was happening.

It was all supposed to be a fun day without drama or crazy! Now the drama and crazy got a friend involved!

Well....If Shun even thought she was a friend at all.....

"You must not falter young lady" Dia looked up to Brono speaking to her while giving Tripp the coldest glare that he could muster. "If this friend means anything to you, then you must fight this battle head on. Worry not since I shall be aiding you"

Marduk source was indeed correct. To think that even Monarus and Drogo could not scare him away. Brontes or in this case.....Brono would not allow him to harm her. Even if she may hate him. Marduk shall always keep Dia safe from anyone who threatens her.

"Right! Alright Leonidas. Time to save our friends!" Dia held Leonidas close to her heart before brawling him out on a Diamond Bakucore.

"Last time I couldn't crush you because Dia would have been hurt. This time?" Leonidas pupils narrowed as he snarled. "I MAKE YOU PAY!"

HE WILL RUE THE DAY HE RUINS ANYTHING FOR DIA! HOW DARE HE DO THIS TO BAKUGAN AND HUMANS?!

Brono flicked his wrist a bit as a bakuball seemingly came out of no where. He then brawled it out among a flurry of playing cards. This avoided anyone from seeing that the bakuball landed on a  Diamond Bakucore while it emitted a glow like a Pyrus Bakugan.

There emerged from the magma pits which were buried deep into that core. Taking flight into the air with ruby crystal feathers on his wings. Tough ruby scales coated the entirety of his body. Citrine armor covered his head,chest, arms, legs, even the tip of his tail. Emerald diamonds made up his eyes that looked to see who his opponents would be. Sharp topaz shards made up his draconic teeth in his beak like mouth. Every part of this bakugan was coated in gemstones or WAS gemstones.

"Wooooah" Dia looked at the avain dragon in amazement. "Beautiful..."

Leonidas eye rolled at the show off. There were people to rescue! Not the time to be distracting his patner!

Rubanoid looked back to see her. Yes....Those eyes were just as gentle and kind as the queen who saved him.  Now he can stand by her side again.

"I got Shun! Mister Brono, I understand that you and I just met but can you-" The jester stopped her in mid sentence by raising a finger to his lips.

"Leave that loudmouth to me. He has no right to ruin the Myu Myu franchise!" He will pay dearly for that as well! He show him what happens when you anger a jester!

"Thank you" Dia did feel bad that she asked him to handle two Bakugan on his own. Though all she could do was hope he could stand his ground ehile she rescued Shun.

"Pandoxx Punch! Show that clown a real punch line! Cloptor Wipe Mind!" The two bakugan charged at Rubanoid who stood his ground.

"Aren't you brave? Hey Rubanoid, show them a trick!" Brono toss a diamond bakucore towards his partner. "Gemstone Mirage!"

The ruby feathers on his wings fell and covered the field in a rain of particle sized rubies. A few landed on Cloptor and Pandoxx. Then the two saw each other as Rubaniod, proceeding to attack one another instead of the real deal.

"What the?! NO! The target is right in front of you boneheads!" Tripp yelled angrily at the bakugan under his control.

"A jester main skills are comedy and misdirection. Rubanoid "Gemstone Mirage" is a perfect move for a two on one fight" Brono laughed at how anger Tripp was getting. He looked ready to be a red tomatoe squashed in his hands.

Soon both Bakugan were at 150g. Still believing that they were the avain dragon instead of teammates.

"GRRR! YOU DARE MOCK ME?!" Just wait till the mirage wears off! He will wipe that painted grin off his face!!

"Aquos Blast!" Shun threw an Aquos Bakucore towards Hydorous. The lion unleashed a massive stream of water towards Leonidas.

Leonidas dodged narrowly. He had to free Hydorous somehow but could not sense the source. Is this karma for how he acted towards Hydorous in the past.

Was this a punishment for the way he acted?

"Demonic Bakugan with no respect! How can you even hold the title of "Guardian" if you treated Dia so badly?" Hydorous voice echoed in his mind to whisper his deepest regrets.

"LEO DODGE!" Dia voice cut through to snap him back into the fight. Dodging an Aquos Hurricane in the nick of time.

"No...Hydorous is not well. How can I make ammends if I allow past events to doubt myself" He can't undo what he did in the past, instead all he could strive for was to be a better Bakugan.

"Shun.....You really hurt me when I was framed. Even believed a video over my words...Fearing what you say to me later on...." She took a deep breathe as she reached for two Diamond Bakucore.

A single core still had it's difficults to pick up and throw. Two? Well she would just have to endure the lack of feeling in her arms.

Her gym grades are not looking good anyway. Plus now she had a good excuse to miss out on a few classes.

"Diamond....!" Dia threw the cores towards Leonidas who flew above the Aquos lion.

"Spiral!!" Coated in Diamonds before spinning at a high speed. Aiming straight at Hydorous in hopes it snapped him out of it.

"Mysterious Mist" Shun ordered before a large quantity of a mist like shield filled the area.

Protecting Hydorous from the powered up attack. Shun was known for stragety after all. Even under the control of that mad man.

"What the?!" Mist blocked his vision as he was forced to back up. HIDING IN VAPOR?! WHAT MOVE IS THAT?

"Right..." Dia sweatdrop as she nervously smiled. Kind of forgetting that move. "It's a shielding maneuver that protects Hydorous and allows him to stay hidden"

"HE HAS A MOVE TO HIDE IN?! GRRRRR!!" One thing that made Leonidas angry in brawls. "Attack and Retreat" since he viewed the stragety a dishonour.

"Heh...probably should have mentioned it in our brawl plans" Dia fiddled with her fingers as her partner gave her a "That would have been helpful look!" dead in the eyes.

Either way something was definitely off. "Mysterious Mist" may be a protective move, yet dodging would have been much more simple. Now thinking about it more. Hydorous has only been attacking like that's all he knows. A straight forward rush in with all out power. A type of battle stragety that best suits Dan not Shun.

"Let's change up strategies. We need to focus on how that Army guy is controlling them" Dia looked at Shun to find anything unusual that she did not notice earlier.

Red eyes? No. That was what hinted that something was wrong in the first place. Could it be a form of amnesia or brainwashing? No. Shun did not show any differences to his battle style if that were the case. She doubted it could be the clothes since Shun dressed like that everyday. The only other thing that seemed out was the Tomphie Backpack he wore.

Tomphie Backpacks were a limited edition merchandise collectable item sold online last week. Given to how deeply Shun cares for the not so adorable bear.....It would make sense that he would be one of the five owners.

She focused on the backpack to see that it's eyes flashed red like Shun and Hydorous. If Dia remembered anything about the rival side of Mascot Wars....Tomphie does NOT have red eyes.

They were the the black "amused" style. Well at least she thought. Shun would be upset that she forget the most obvious feature of his beloved Tomphie bear!

The backpack! Something must have been done to it. Shun had to have left alone just long enough for Colonel Armstrong Tripp to do something. That mean if she broke it, Shun would be freed.

.....She would have to break something Tomphie like....Oh no...Shun would be even more angry than when she was falsely accused.

Why couldn't Mascot Wars have been peaceful? Honestly she did not want to do this.....

"Leo, I'll get Shun! You find what is controlling Hydorous!" Dia rushed towards Shun as fast as her legs could carry her. Getting that backpack off was her top priority!

"GRR! I swear that you are going to owe me big time for this Hydorous!" Leonidas charged at Hydorous before pinning him in a strong hold. Searching for whatever had the power to take over the mind of a strong willed Bakugan.

"Oh no you don't! I won't let you take a promising soldier from me!" Tripp turned back to pursuit Dia. He would not allow his plan to be foil so easily!

His arm was almost within reach of grabbing her soldier, when a playing card was thrown in his pain. He took a step back to see Brono standing right in front of him.

"Sorry but your opponent is me. You should know that no true army man abandons his men in battle" His eyes looked to the right to see Rubanoid finishing the two Bakugan with a quick strike of his tail.

Rubanoid attention turned to the human that dared to hurt the girl he had been task to protect for the mission. He growls loudly that cause the man who was filled with great courage was now frozen in the way of the "Ruby Red Rubanoid, Avain Dragon". He would not pass or interfere with the business of his queen.

Brono had upholded his part of the brawl. Now Dia must do her part to save the young Kazama boy. A task that only Dia and LE0 could do.

"Let's see you shine brightly again. One who holds the legacy to be the "Diamond Queen" Brono spoke mentally in his mind. Watching the show unfold like the audience below the stage itself.

Dia never was the type to ever win anything in a matter of stength. Just tackling Shun to the ground seemed challenging as pushing a car. Shun fought back to push her away with all his might. He refused to allow anyone to take away any gift that his coloniel granted him.

"Sensei Magnus is not going to be happy" She could just see him preparing weight training to build up upper body strength. Just thinking about it made her arms ache already.

JUST GIVE HER THE STUPID BACKPACK ALREADY! WHY ARE YOU FIGHTING HER?! ALL SHE WANTS TO DO IS FREE HIM FROM THE DARK FORCE OVER HIS MIND!

Leonidas managed to find a small black device latched tightly on Hyodrous back. It emited small sparks of electricity with an omnious red glow. Matching the strange glow that replaced Hydorous orange eyes  He struggled to grab it when Hydorus flung him off into the air.

"Okay now you are REALLY getting me angry! You claimed that I have no respect for Dia yet you  allow Shun to be controlled? If you really are a true guardian Bakugan then fight! FIGHT BACK THE MIND CONTROL! I WANTED TO BRAWL THE AQUOS LION HYDOROUS! NOT A KITTY CAT WHOSE LOST THEIR CLAWS!" He may not have been looking forward to this confrontion . Though he wanted to brawl against the REAL Hydorous!

Leonidas had been avoiding Hydorous even after the Apology Brawl. Always had the feeling that Hydorous never truly trusted in him, despite his name being cleared. Drago, Trox and Howlkor had all tried to start over in making friends with him. Pegatrix he could understand  because Dia had been avoid Lia like the plague. Though Hydorous seemed to distance himself even when Leonidas approached him first.

Does he still not trust him even after his attempts to change? He honestly thought that a brawl would help him find these answers.

Just his bad luck that it gets interrupted by the Coloniel that tried to kidnap Dia! He swears that he is going to make that guy pay!

"PRISMIC HURRICANE!" He unleashed the massive stream of diamond shards from his mouth. Believing he had a better chance blasting it off.

This was a brawl still. Yes he wanted to save Hydorous but he never had any intention to lose. Brawls are competitive fights were both sides take fun. There still had to be one winner.

Hydorous countered with "Claw Cutter". It seems even if his mind was dulled, his battle instincts were quite sharp. Good to know that he is still there inside.

Shun pushed Dia back as she squirmed to pry the backpack right off him. It felt as if she never get it off him at this rate.

"Stop fighting me Shun! We both know this isn't you!" There has to be a way to break them to him. At least to distract him to snatch the backpack.

"Hydorous! Fight me as as yourself! I will not accept this fight as a real one! Even when in my brawls went I still only desired brawls like they were my only purpose! As much as a monster as I was....you still fought me with just enough respect as any other opponent! How could you let yourself be a pawn in a power obsessed man?! HOW DARE YOU LET THIS HAPPEN BEFORE I COULD APOLOGIZE!" That made Hydorous freeze in mid action. A clue that Leonidas should keep going.

"You were right with your earlier claims. I had no respect for Dia because of the torments I endured in that accursed lab. The humans that ignored my pleads and just piled up more sufferings my way. Dia had saved my life when she got me out of that place. However I held such bitter resentments that I saw the human who saved me as nothing.....nothing expect one who gives me brawls that satisfy my rage. Though after a while, we slowly warmed up to one another. Dia being the sole person to stand up to me when I was falsely accused. That made me see that I had someone who had trust in me. Calling me an ally and treating me as an equal. Replacing my rage into a powerful desire to protect instead. Understanding mutual pasts to strengthen our partnership to shine as brilliantly as a diamond"  Reflecting upon every experience he had the moment he woke up in that lab to the present moment right now.

He slowly approached Hydorous who still remained frozen. His claws grabbed the device before slowly crushing it.

"You do not have to forgive me right away. I know I still have a long way to go as a guardian Bakugan. I like to start over as friends and learn from those like you!" With that the device was crushed. Hydorous eyes returing to the bright orange color they were meant to be.

"W-Where...Leonidas?" Hydorous was confused on why he was with the Diamond Dragon.

He could have swore that Shun and him were in the waiting room. Awaiting the Tag Team match to start when he suddenly blacked out. He then spotted Coloniel Tripp blocked by a jester.

Soon his mind connected the dots! That blasted Coloniel but a Bmites on him! That meant that Leonidas had somehow freed him. After everything hebsaid to him....Leonidas still saved him....

"SHUN! JUST PLEASE GIVE ME THE BACKPACK!" After a good amount of struggling, Dia had managed to get a hold of one of the backpack straps. Just one more!

"W-What?! Shun too?!" Seems like he was not the put under the twisted control of the discharged army man.

Leonidas stopped the Aquos Lion from interfering. Dia made it clear that she would be the one to snap Shun out of it. Being her partner meant he had to respect her wishes.

Dia may her words have the same effect that his had for Hydorous. Knowing Dia whose heart glittered like the gemstone, he trusted that she could do it.

Shun was ready to kick Dia off of him when he got embraced by her. No matter how hard he tried to get her off. The grip on that girl was tighter then being tied up by steel chains.

"You are no one weapon....no one can take away the kind heart that makes you the person you are. I refuse to let one of the idols I respected to be treated like that. We both are still healing from what happened....Though I want to start over....please Shun....Please wake up" She pleads in hopes that her words had broken through.

"Dia...." Shun eyes flickered back and forth from their original color from red. Even speaking her own name took a large amount of mental power to do so.

He then allows her to take the strap from his hold. Hurry before the Bmites take control again.

Dia wasted to time destroying the accursed backpack. Watching the girl destroy a Tomphie piece of merchandise, it made the fans go into a ballistic outrage.

"DARN YOU MYU MYU FAN!!"

"NOOOOO!! NOT TOMPHIE!!"

"YOU REALLY ARE THE "DEMONIC BRAWLER"! HOW DARE YOU DO THIS TO OUR DEAREST TOMPHIE!!"

Dia wanted to respond with an explaination as well as a an apology. Though the jester and Rubanoid put a stop to it.

"Now Now. I know you are fans are upset but..." Brono stepped forward. Signaling that is best for the kids to leave.

Leonidas scooped up Dia, best not to make anymore enemies. He will never understand why humans get mad over mealy possessions. Hydorous and Shun followed as well.

Must be something to do with the angry Myu Myu fans. They were NOT at all pleased that a Tomphie fan caused the Mascot Wars to be interrupted.

WAS THERE NOTHING SACRED LEFT IN THIS WORLD?! THEY ONLY HOLD THAT EVERY TEN YEARS! CHANGING IT UP EVERY TIME! THIS WAS MYU MYU ONLY CHANCE!!

"Her words....powerful...." Rubanoid usually did not speak in the human tongue. He often found it sounded annoying.

Code Eve.... No. She goes by Diana Jenkins now. To think that the Diamond Faction siblings were reincarated as human siblings.

"Yes my feathery reptile. Marduk is just as caring as the former leader" He chuckled at the memory of how Marduk was acting before.

Monarus learned that Coloniel did not learned anything from their first  encounter. However Marduk could not confront him without any of the Awesome Ones recognizing him. Even if he were to go as Drogo. The worry on his face made Vladitor give the mission to protect the girl.

Even if it seems that they were on opposing sides. That they were enemies with Dia hating him. Marduk refuses to allow anyone to bring harm to his precious sister.

Monarus, Viper Helios, Dharak had all been seen by the Awesome Ones. That only left Rubanoid and Brontes for this mission. Brontes was seen in Bakugan form though not in human. Thus he would be acting as Rubanoid brawler.

Brontes was also selected since he had  a rare non brawling technique. One of the few skills that made him quite usual in Marduk ranks.

Dia and Leo would be the only ones with the knowledge that happened this day. Anyone else had to experience a quick memory erase. Coloniel Tripp also had his memory of today's events erased. Only to be tied up to a tree in the middle of no where.

Dia invited Shun to stay for dinner. Given what he had to go through, the less she could do was offer him dinner.

"Uncle Jasper usually makes seafood on thursdays. Today may be his famous seafood pasta!" Dia eyes glittered at how tasty that pasta tasted. The special ingredent was added always give her tongue a blast of flavor.

"I think he adds the garlic paste that he hand makes. I believe he had mixed in the herbs he started to grow" Leomidas himself could not determined the herbs used. He made a list to narrow down the possibilities.

"Why...?" The fact that the footsteps behind them stopped made them turn around. To see the sadden face look on Shun and Hydorous.

"Why what?" Dia couldn't understand why he was sad all of the sudden. In all honesty....She believed he angry with her for the whole Tomphie Backpack.

"I falsely accused you of hurting Dan and forced you into hiding because of it.....Even after all that....you saved us...Why would you? After all that..." Why? Why would she do it?

"Well that's a stupid question" Leonidas flew in between the two of them. His next words surprised them.

"You two are our friends. We will always save you"

Hydorous jaw dropped since he never expected those words to ever escape Leonidas sharp tooth mouth.

"I don't hold grudges anyways. So how about a fresh start?" She asked while a bright smile stretched across her face.

"You two still owe us a brawl  too. I like to brawl the true Hydorous!" Leonidas meant what he said to him beforehand. Brawling one with incredible strength to go toe to toe against a worthy opponent.

Heh. Brawls are always on Bakugan mind. Though this would be different....A brawl against friends.

That day was the start of the restart of their  newfound friendship. It would seem that a rescue helped bring them together as friends again.
