When someone is depressed
They 'hide' it very well
Putting on a show for you
Even when they are alone.

We shouldn't have to show you!
We shouldn't have to care.
We shouldn't have to worry about what it is we wear.

Society has turned a blind eye
And left us here to cry
Society has told us
That it's not right to want to die.

We hide our pain
Underneath our mask
But all you had to really do
Was suddenly just ask.

We wanted you to notice
We wanted someone to care.
We didn't want to hide
What was really there

No way to get rid of it
No way to just repair

But just open your eyes.
Look around the world
And see what we despise.

We see the world for what it is
And we clearly don't seek help.
