Look how time has flied since the last time i wrote here. A lot of changes have happened, to be honest. But I always do things at whim, you know, so I just want to announce that: I started to learn Chinese and Japanese seriously!

I'm still at my very first stages, but I feel motivated and thrilled basically due to my love for them (and because Chinese is close to my native language so yeah)

Yesterday we went to my uncle's house (roughly 45 kilometers away) and we had a whale of time. We cheered, went sightseeing, took hundreds of photos, ate lots of food, I and my cousin even went to an ancient fortress at night (it was dark yet breathtaking, i love ancient things so much, idk why for sure but i love them, especially the Chinese, Japanese and Vietnamese culture). Last weekend was unforgettable... Oh recently a kind of Chinese "lap xuong" has come to my country and taken it by storm. I'm now engrossed in this cuisine =)) At that house, I found out the old stuffed kitten and omg it's still adorable as ever <33 I took it back to my house and now my little brother loves it dearly.

Today i'm revising for next week's 测试, which means a small test, on literature. I was reading materials and immersing myself in the wonderful world when I realized many beautiful things I wish I could experience once. The sheer beauty of the sky and earth, of things and people. Only by learning literature and reading (or listening to music) can one feel that captivating appeal.

This morning I went to school for the selection test of the gifted city team. At first I didn't sign up as I thought that I wouldn't make it to the team. However, our head teacher signed up for the whole class, so I still headed to school and endured 3 hours sitting the test. Some of my classmates didn't show up: they didn't want to be a part of the team either. The surprising thing is that I still managed to do everything I could and slept for, perhaps, 20 minutes.

In the afternoon, I went to take a mock SAT exam on computer at a renowned center pretty far away from my house. I got 750 on Maths and 620 on Reading&Writing (i made silly mistakes and I'm not well-prepared for SAT). So in total, I have 1370, which means I need to work on both sections A LOT. I intend to take the real test later this year or at the beginning of next year, after finishing IELTS.

By the way, my IELTS writing task 1 is undoubtedly worse than task 2 in a ridiculous way. Now I must endeavor super hard on both of them if I want to live (and listening too, and reading, and speaking, I'll cry).

Maybe it's time for IELTS, bye bye :((
