Teacher made a lightbulb light up with salt water, completing the circuit from the plug in the wall.  I thought it was cool.  Tested distilled water; no response.  Tested tap water; successfully brightened a small amount.  Added more water to beaker; bulb became more luminescent.

Learned that dry cells contain liquid chemicals to create a direct current.

I had printing problems today.
