At practice, Misako handed Iwaizumi a water bottle.

"Thank you," he said smiling sadly.

Misako walked away.

"So," Oikawa said, "Did you tell her?"

Iwaizumi was not showing it but he was sad.

"Yeah," he said, "I told her,"

Oikawa beamed excitedly.

"What happened?" he asked.

"She said no," Iwaizumi said.

Oikawa looked at his friend.

"I don't understand her?" Iwaizumi suddenly exclaimed, "When some girls told me that they love me, she looked jealous but she doesn't want to go on a date with me?"

Oikawa looked at his friend shocked.

"She thinks that secret admirer of hers as her soulmate," Iwaizumi continued exasperatedly.

Oikawa was shocked to see his friend this sad and angry.

As practice finished, he approached Misako.

"Hello, Misako-chan!" he exclaimed.

Misako smiled at him.

"Hello, Oikawa-san," she said.

"Do you want to walk home together?" he asked.

"It doesn't matter, Oikawa-san," she said.

"It's getting dark," he said.

"Okay, then, Oikawa-san," she said.

As Oikawa and Misako started walking away, he said,

"I heard you have a secret admirer,"

Misako blushed.

"Yes," she said quietly.

"Do you know who it is?"

"No," Misako said quietly.

"I can help you, then!" Oikawa exclaimed.

Misako was surprised.

"Thank you!" she exclaimed.

"So when do you find these letters?" Oikawa asked.

"Just after registration," she said.

"It is probably somebody in your class then because everybody else is in their classroom,"

"I heard Iwaizumi told you that he loves you," Oikawa said smiling.

Misako smiled sadly.

"Yes," she said quietly.

"Don't you feel the same for him?" Oikawa asked.

Misako thought back to how her heart fluttered whenever she saw Iwaizumi. She knew that Iwaizumi was different but her secret admirer knew how to make her smile and understood her.

"I don't know," she said, "My secret admirer makes me feel happy and understands me. They're my soulmate,"

As Misako walked into her house, she felt a certain emptiness in her.
