That's home. Planet Earth. But I'm not sure that's where I am right now. Okay, let me back up a little. It all began when the climate went completely out of control. The rainforest dried out, and other places got totally flooded with oceans like chocolate sauce. And get this: places that were normally blazing hot in the summer, got super cold. At the time, I didn't know any of this was going on, because I was at camp. All of the other campers were, you know, goofing off and hanging out. Me? I was enjoying the summer sun while...uh, going over my multiplication tables.

A girl with short bobbed black hair, tanned skin with maroon eyeglasses and dark brown eyes. She had on a U.A. hoodie (unzipped) over a red t-shirt with the Flash symbol on it, navy blue knee high shorts with black socks and black rubber shoes with white designs on it.

That is, until it started to snow. In the middle of July! Totally freaky. And it gets weirder. You won't believe what happened to me and six other kids. Oh, by the way, my name's Kidou Mitsuo.

(Narrators POV)

Mitsuo glanced over at a girl with dark skin like hers and black hair and brown eyes, the girl wore a black shirt that had the Fall Out Boy logo on it, she had on blue jeans and black sneakers.

"That's Tsugumi Kara. She's okay, for a band geek.... And that's Sasori Sen, he's one of my good friends. Over there is Kita Sharaku and Akashi Masato- they fight a lot. That's Shirai Kaiyo next to them, I bet you can guess her favorite color on the first try. And finally, you have Sumi Katsuki and Setton Sophie, Sophie is awesome! Katsuki is a My Hero Academia Fan like most of us."

So there they were at camp, when suddenly this huge blizzard came out of nowhere!

"The canoe races were canceled. So let's have toboggan races instead!" Katsuki said bright and ran out after the blizzard had stopped.

"I'm gonna build the biggest snowman!" Kaiyo yelled.

"Hey, Kaiyo! Be careful. Slow down!" Kara called to her

"Brrr! It is freezing. And I didn't bring a jacket." Sophie comments rubbing her arms. The girl had on a short sleeve shirt with one of the Korosensei faced on it.

"Man! I was worried I'd catch a summer cold. But this is even worse!" Sen mumbled.

"Ahh! Wow! Why didn't I pack my fluffy snow boots?" Masato said sarcastically to Sophie.

"How about you be quiet." Sophie glared.

Hey, what's your name...Sophie, come here!" Mitsuo yelled. A light flashed from the sky.

"It's beautiful. Magical even." Kaiyo said in awe. Masato glanced at her.

"Oh great... you're like them-" He hissed.

"Them?" Kaiyo asked.

"Being so positive- it's disturbing." Masato growled. Kaiyo looked down.

"Yeah, but what is it?" Sen asked looking up at the sky.

"Maybe an aurora?" Katsuki asked.

"You mean Aurora Borealis? The northern lights? That's impossible. You see that's in Alaska. We're way too far south." Sharaku explains.

"Tell that to the snow." Katsuki shot at him.

"I really think we ought to get back inside before we all come down with pneumonia." Kara suddenly said.

"And miss this? The sky is like, short-circuiting!" Kaiyo said.

"Hey, what's that?" Mitsuo asked. A circle of green light appears in the sky, then shoots out beams of light at each of the seven children. Some of them scream- well Kaiyo and Katsuki did- as the beams come right at them.

"Do you think we need sunscreen?" Sophie asked. The beams of light land with explosions of snow at their feet.

"Everyone, are you alright?" Kaiyo asked standing up, the girl had fallen over.

"We're still here." Masato said. Sen nods

"That was scary."

"What- What was it?" Sharaku asked.

"Meteors? Okay, so it's not meteors." Mitsuo said. From the holes the beams dug in the snow, objects surrounded in light float up to each of the children. They each grab one out of the air and look at the devices now in their hands.

"What are these?" Kara asked.

"Hentai?" Sophie questions smirking. Masato and Mitsuo glance at each other worried.

"What's Hentai?" Kaiyo asked.

"Hentai is-" Mitsuo and Masato cover Sophie's mouth.

"Sophie shut the fuck up and save this innocent child!" Masato said. Kaiyo blinks in confusion.

"What is He-" Mitsuo covered her mouth.

"Shhh, child you do not need to know. Smol Child." Mitsuo told her as she removed her hand.

"My guess is some sort of miniature remote digital apparatus." Kara said.

"No instructions?" Katsuki asked.

"Forget the instructions, surf's up!" Masato yelled. Out of nowhere, a huge wave swells over their heads. The wall of water picks them up, and sends them down a seemingly endless hole, lights of every color flashing as the group of teens fall, screaming.

"I knew I should have gone to cheerleading camp!" Katsuki yelled.

Mitsuo groans hearing a voice call her name.

"Mitsuo? Yoo-hoo, Mitsuo?" A voice called.

"Yeah, I'm okay...huh?" Mitsuo opens her eyes to see a head with large eyes, long ears and jagged teeth sitting on his chest. The creature blinks at Mitsuo. The girl screeched, throwing herself away from it.

"That is the last time I eat camp food!" Mitsuo yelled.

"Hey, you don't need to be afraid of me. I'm your friend, I'm your friend, I'm your friend!" The creature bounces up and down happily.

"Uh, just what are you? Have you had your rabies shots?" The maroon glasses girl questions.

"Everything's gonna be alright now, Mitsuo. I've been waiting for you."

"Waiting for me? Like to eat me?" Mitsuo asked.

"My name's Koromon. And we're partners!"

"Koromon? That means..."talking head?" right?" Mitsuo questions.

"It means "brave little warrior." And don't forget it, Mitsuo!" Kori mom said plainly.

"So what did you mean you've been waiting for me? And how did you know my name?"

"Mitsuo?"

"Hmm? Sharaku, is that you?" Mitsuo asked.

"It's me. And I've got this little purple and brown thing following me everywhere." Sharaku appeared explaining.

"It is me, Yaamon, at your service. Anybody want lunch?" Yaamon asked.

"Another one? What are they?" Mitsuo asked.

"Oh, allow me to introduce myself. My friends call me Yaamon. Everyone does, actually." The talking head says.

"I believe those miniature remote digital gadgets have taken on an actual life form. I don't remember anything like this in the camp brochure." Sharaku mumbled.

"Y'think? It's weird." Mitsuo said wrinkling her nose.

"The vegetation is lush, but the soil appears rather common." Sharaku said bending down to the ground.

"Nothing is common in DigiWorld." Yaamon told him.

"That's right, Mitsuo. You're in the DigiWorld!" Koromon exclaims.

"And just where is the DigiWorld?" Mitsuo glanced at the other talking head, her partner in this case.

"I don't care so much about where it is. I wanna know what it is!" Sharaku said looking up at the sky after he stood back up.

"Guess I'll just take a look around for myself." Mitsuo sighed and climbs a tree, she pulled a pair of binoculars from her pocket and looked around

"The ocean? What's that doing there? Our campsite was nowhere near the ocean! And I sure don't remember those mountains. Hmmm. Something tells me a compass isn't gonna help much." Mitsuo growled.

"Hey, Mitsuo. What do you see?" Koromon asked.

"Nothing I recognize. Huh? Wait, what's that? Through the lens, Mitsuo, spots a flying red insect monster, screeching as it flies toward them. "Look at that. It's some sort of giant red beetle! And it's flying right at us!" The beetle monster swoops at the tree where Mitsuo and Koromon are sitting, and takes the whole top of it off as it passes.

"I can't watch. That is one seriously bad Digimon, even when he's in a good mood!" Yaamon shrieked.

"That's just great." Sharaku chocks.

"Watch out! His name is Kuwagamon. He's an insectoid Digimon. Vicious and ruthless, with teeth like knives and scissor hands that can chop through anything!" Koromon explains.

"Well, he's a gardener." Mitsuo snickers. With Kuwagamon flying at the tree Mitsuo is in, Koromon leaps off the branch toward the monster, blowing bubbles that annoy Kuwagamon just enough to make him miss Mitsuo, merely knocking herto the ground. Sharaku rushes up to Mitsuo.

"Mitsuo, you okay?" Sharaku asked helping her stand up.

"Well, I have had better days." Mitsuo plainly said. Koromon falls from the sky and crashes to the ground.

"Little guy! You should pick on bugs your own size! What's your name? Koromon?"

"That's me."

"You're pretty brave. For a little guy. I'm impressed."

"It was nothing."

Ah, Mitsuo, he's heading this way again!" Sharaku yelled.

"Oh dear, oh dear! Quickly, everyone, this way." Yaamon said quickly.

"Come on!" Mitsuo comments. Sharaku and Mitsuo, holding Koromon, follow Yaamon, running away from Kuwagamon.

"Hurry up! For having two long legs, you sure are awfully slow! Inside this tree!" Yaamon jumps into a nearby tree, disappearing from sight. Sharaku and Mitsuo, holding Koromon, stare, then jump in after him. Inside the tree are smooth, rounded walls of metal all the way to the top, where the blue sky is visible.

"Whoa...What kind of tree is this?" Sharaku asked.

"It's a hiding tree, silly." Yaamon said.

"Quiet now. Don't make a sound." Koromon snaps. Finally, Kuwagamon's shrieking subsides, and from outside the tree, they hear a different voice.

"All clear! No need to hide anymore."

"Kara!" Mitsuo and Sharaku yell.

"You can come out now." Kara plainly said.

"Uh, we were just planning the trap we were gonna set for that big bug. Huh?" Mitsuo said trying to convince Kara. Beside Kara is another little pink ball, this one with numerous legs and what looks like flower petals on top of its head.

"I am enchanted to meet you, friends of Kara. Welcome."

"Mitsuo, Sharaku, meet Yokomon. My own personal something-or-other." Kara explained.

"Looks kinda like a radish." Mitsuo comments squinting her eyes.

"Must be another one of them. Like the other...whatever they are..." The blue eyed male mumbled. As they watch, a four-legged pink creature runs in front of them.

"They're popping up everywhere." Mitsuo growls.

"Hello, I am Tokomon. Hey, Sen, Masato, over here!"

"Coming! Tokomon, there you are!" Sen smiled and picked up the pillow like monster. Laughing, Sen, comes running out of the bushes to Tokomon, followed by Masato, who is holding an orange, legless creature with a long horn on its head."

"Oh- it's you guys." Masato glared.

"What's that suppose to mean." Sharaku glared back.

"Hey, Masato, you too?" Kara asked.

"Yeah, I'm here too." Masato mumbled, "Though I don't know why-"

"Guys!" A girl squeals.

"It's Kaiyo." The 5 teenagers say in sync. A girl with short brown hair and green eyes runs up to them.

"Nyaromon! There you are!" Kaiyo smiled and picked up a head-tail looking monster.

"Oh, Neko~" Sharaku says.

"I'm not a Neko! Im Nyaromon." The head-tail Digimon, Nyaromon, glared.

"Nice to meet you Plotmon." Kara said.

"Masato, what's that under your arm?" Kaiyo asked.

"Oh, this guy? Yeah, well..."

"Hello. You appear pleasant. Tsunomon is my name and I am quite pleased to meet you." Sen and Tokomon seem close already, the two of them were laughing and hugging. A scream erupted from the forest, Sophie ran out followed by a flying creature that vaguely resembled a seal, only with two flippers, and a bright orange lock of hair.

"Ahhhh! Guys there you are!"

"Sophie!" Kaiyo smiled.

"Yep, I'm here- what the fuck is this thing?" Sophie asked.

"Hey, who're you calling a thing? I'm no stuffed animal. The name is Bukamon."

"Bakamon..." Masato asked trying to pronounce the name.

"Bukamon." Sophie corrected her friend.

"So what are you guys?" The 7 kids ask.

"We're..." Bukamon started.

"Digimon: Digimon. Digital monsters." The 7 Digimon say.

"Digital monsters?" Mitsuo asked

"Yeah, Digimon." The 7 say.

"We're not just Digital monsters. We're much more than that. We're...kinda cute." Koromon said.

"And very loyal." Tsunomon mumbled.

"With beautiful hair." Yokomon comments."

"Or maybe no hair at all." Yaamon said.

"But you're soft-" Sharaku started.

"We can be funny. Ha!" Bukamon laughed.

"And adorable." Tokomon adds.

"And sly." Nyaromon mumbled.

"It's a pleasure to meet each of you. My name's Mitsuo, and these are my friends from camp. I'd like you to meet Sen."

"Nice place you got here. Except the bugs." Sen comments.

"And the self-proclaimed cool one over there is Masato."

"I will slap you." Masato threatens Mitsuo.

"That's Sophie."

"I need my hen-"

"MOVING ON- This is Kaiyo."

"Do you have Internet access?" Kaiyo asked.

"Oh and that's Sharaku."

"Well forget me why don't ya." Sharaku mumbled.

"There now. Is that everybody?" Mitsuo asked.

"We're missing Katsuki!" Kaiyo said suddenly.

"Ahh! Somebody help me!" Kaiyo heard Katsuki scream.

"Come on!" Mitsuo yelled.

"Kacchan, where are you?" Kaiyo yelled. The group runs into a clearing in time to see Katsuki run into it from the other side, screaming, and followed by a leafy-looking Digimon with four short legs.

"There she is!" Kara points out.

"Kacchan!" Kaiyo smiled. Mitsuo and the others stop short when they realize that Katsuki isn't running from the small Digimon with her, but from Kuwagamon who is coming out of the forest after her.

"It's that big bug again!" Mitsuo yelled. Kuwagamon dives low over them once, then flies off. Katsuki fell on the ground, and next to her is her Digimon.

"Katsuki, are you alright?" Tanemon asked.

"I think so." Katsuki breaths.

"Don't worry, Tanemon's here to protect you."

"It's okay now." Kaiyo said kneeing down next to her.

"Deku!" Katsuki cheered and hugs her.

"Watch it, here he comes!" Mitsuo yelled.

"Run!" Sen yelled. Kuwagamon flies behind the fleeing kids and Digimon, tearing up treetops, and shrieking as he goes.

"Get down!" Masato yelled. Everyone hits the ground, and Kuwagamon swoops, but misses them.

"Will this nightmare never end? My mom is gonna want a complete and total refund!" Sophie yelled.

"Here he comes again!" Nyaromon yelled.

"Okay, that does it! No more running away!" Mitsuo growls.

"What else can we do?" Kara asked.

"She's right. There's no way we can fight that thing!" Masato said.

"Not and win, anyway." Sharaku said. The group continues running, until the path they are on leads to a cliff. They stop short.

"Great. Anybody bring a helicopter?" Masato sarcastically asked. Mitsuo goes to the edge and looks down.]

"Be careful Mitsuo!" Sen said.

"There's no way down. We're going to have to find another way." Mitsuo said.

"Another way where?" Katsuki asked. Suddenly, Kuwagamon bursts from the bushes behind them, and soars out over the cliff, turning back for another swipe.

"Mitsuo!" Kaiyo and Masato yell.

"Here I go! Koromon said. Mitsuo runs from Kuwagamon, and Koromon leaps over him to face the attacking insect. He blows some bubbles at it, but Kuwagamon was barely bothered by them.

"Not again!" Mitsuo gasped

"Digimon, attack!" Yaamon yelled. All of the kids' Digimon leap into the air, blowing bubbles in Kuwagamon's face. Kuwagamon was blinded, and crashes into a stand of forest trees.

"Yokomon!"

"Koromon!" All of the Digimon are lying on the rock of the cliff, eyes closed.

"Koromon, are you crazy? Why'd you do it?" Mitsuo asked.

"Sorry, it's just...I'm trying to make a good impression."

"Crazy guy." All the kids run up to their injured Digimon.

"Oh, Yokomon." Kara whispers

"Tanemon, talk to me." Katsuki mumbled

"They must be programmed for courage." Sharaku said holding Yaamon.

"Tokomon, what's wrong?" Sen asked.

"Hey, Tsunomon, wake up!" Masato yelled.

"Nayromon..." Kaiyo whispers crying.

"Bukamon, wake up. Huh? Oh no!" Sophie yelps. From the forest, the kids hear the screech of Kuwagamon again. It emerges from the trees, clashing its pincers.

"Get back!" Masato yelled. The others started to run back except Kaiyo.

"Deku!" Katsuki yelled.

"Kaiyo!" The others yell. Masato glanced at Kuwagamon and growled. He sat Tsunomon down and ran to Kaiyo, holding Nyaromon in her arms.

"Kai-" The male stopped dead in his words realizing whatever he said wouldn't phase the girl. Masato picked Kaiyo up bridal style and runs to the others badly missing Kuwagamon's attack.

"Ship!" Mitsuo and Sophie squeal. Sharaku smirked.

"I was hoping we'd seen the last of him." Sen said.

"Me too! Guess he had other plans, huh?" Katsuki sighed.

"Ugh, I knew I should've brought my bug spray." Masato said as he held Kaiyo, he was blushing, but he strangely didn't sit the girl down on the ground. Kaiyo looked at Nyaromon in her arms.

"Nyaromon..." The green eyed girl whispered before passing out in the 16 year old males arms.

"Okay, get ready to run guys!" Mitsuo yelled.

"No, we fight! That's right. It's the only way. Stand and fight!" Koromon commanded.

"Give it up, will ya?" Mitsuo yelled at him.

"No, Koromon's right. It's time that we showed what we're made of!" Yaamon agreed.

"No, don't!" Sharaku yelled.

"They're right!" Yokomon said.

"No way! It's hopeless! You're no match for him, Yokomon." Kara screamed.

"We can do it!" Tsunomon yelled.

"We can do it, we can do it!" Tokomon kept telling himself.

"Let me go, let me go, let go!" Bukamon said. Sophie, unwillingly let go of Bukamon.

"Tanemon, you too?" Katsuki asked softly.

"Uh huh!" Tanemon said.

"I'm sorry, Mitsuo. Let's go!" Koromon screamed. All the Digimon throw themselves at Kuwagamon. "Come on, Digimon!" Koromon yelled.

"It's useless! Yokomon!" Kara yelled.

"Don't go! Yaamon!" Sharaku yelled.

"No, wait! Don't do it, Tsunomon!" Masato called out as he held Kaiyo close to him.

"Don't go!" Sen cried out.

"Turn around! Come back, Bukamon!" Sophie screams.

"Tanemon. Be careful!" Katsuki hollers.

"No! Don't, Koromon!" Mitsuo yelled to her partner. As the Digimon rush at Kuwagamon, the kids' Digivices glow. A spiral forms in the air, and beams of light come down to land on the Digimon.

"Koromon, Digivolve to...Agumon!"

Yokomon, Digivolve to...Biyomon!"

"Yaamon, Digivolve to...Impmon!"

"Tsunomon, Digivolve to...Gabumon!"

Tokomon, Digivolve to...Patamon!"

"Bukamon, Digivolve to...Gomamon!"

Tanemon, Digivolve to...Palmon!" Suddenly, in the place of the tiny friends the kids had met, were larger, more grown-up looking Digimon.

"What in the- Look at them! What's happened to the little guys?" Kara asked.

"They're...bigger." Mitsuo said squinting her eyes. The seven Digimon leap at Kuwagamon, but they were easily thrown to the ground.

"Alright, then. You asked for it!" Agumon yelled.

"Poison Ivy!" Long vines spring from Palmon's hands, wrapping themselves around Kuwagamon, making it unable to fly away.

"Boom Bubble!"

"Infernal Funnel!" Patamon's blasting bubble, and Impmon's Fire and Ice, make Kuwagamon step back. When he puts down his foot, Gomamon is underneath, causing Kuwagamon to fall to his knees.

"Stand back, everyone! Pepper breath!"

"Blue Blaster!"

"Spiral Twister!" Agumon's fireball, Gabumon's blast of blue energy, and Biyomon's whirlwind hit Kuwagamon dead-on, enraging him.

"Now, all together!" The combined force of the seven smaller Digimon's attacks are enough to defeat Kuwagamon, who falls backward into the forest. The kids look on, amazed.

"They made vapor-ware out of him." Sharaku said dumbfounded.

"Amazing!" Mitsuo cheered.

"Told you we could do it!" Agumon said. The Digimon run, smiling, back to the kids, who laugh with joy.

"Koromon, or Agumon, or whoever you are! You did it, you did it, you did it!" Mitsuo said.

"How about that Infernal Furnnel? Pretty wizard, huh?" From within the forest, Kuwagamon screams.

"Watch out!" Kara yelled.

"Huh?" Mitsuo looked up. Mitsuo and Agumon run back to the others as Kuwagamon buries his pincers in the ground where they had been standing. "Guess we celebrated too soon!" Mitsuo growled. The ground cracks where Kuwagamon's pincers are embedded in the rock, and the edge of the cliff, with the kids and their Digimon on it, breaks off and begins to fall. The group tumbles down toward the valley below. Masato held onto Kaiyo, mainly just so they wouldn't loose her,

(Mitsuo's POV)
So, just when we make some pretty cool friends, we all take a plunge. Never to see each other again? I don't think so. But find out for yourself next time on Digimon: Digital Monsters!
