Conifamon [コニファモン]
Name origin: 'Conifa' is a misspelling of 'conifer'.
Level: Child
Attribute: Data
Family: Jungle Troopers
Type: Plant

Description

A plant-type Digimon that lives in forests in colder climates. Gentle by nature, it tends to mind its own business and will not attack unless provoked. It is not very fast-moving, but it compensates for its lack of speed with its tough, bark-like skin that allows it to take physical hits better. Being accustomed to the cold, ice-element attacks will do little to it; on the other hand, it is extra weak against fire-element attacks. Some parts of its body are covered by needle-shaped leaves, which can harden and be used for attacking/self-defense.

Attacks

Needle Tail (ニードルテイル): Hardens the spiky leaves on its tail, and swings its tail towards the opponent.

Spruce Punch (スプルースパンチ): Hardens the leaves on its arms and delivers a spiky punch.

Pinecone Shoot (パインコーンシュート): Shoots out small pinecones from its mouth at high speed.

Bombamon [ボンバモン]
Name origin: 'Bomba' comes from 'bombax', a genus of mainly tropical trees.
Level: Adult
Attribute: Data
Family: Jungle Troopers
Type: Plant

Description

A large, plant-type Digimon that mainly lives in colder forests, but has adapted to be able to live in warmer climates as well. A gentle giant, Bombamon does not attack unless provoked. Similar to its previous form, its tough bark-like skin provides great resistance to physical attacks. Bombamon living in warmer climates may have red flowers blooming on them, which are considered as delicacies by some.

Attacks

Trunk Smash (トランクスマッシュ): Swings its large, spiky arms, smashing anything in its way.

Conifer Cannon (コニファーキャノン): Fires a large pinecone from the holes in its arms, which explode and send shrapnel flying on contact.

Cypress Slam (サイプレススラム): Hardens the leaves on its large tail and swings it towards the enemy. The tip of its tail also becomes sharp when hardened, and can pierce through objects.

Veneerdramon [ベニヤドラモン]
Name origin: 'Veneer' refers to thin slices of wood applied onto coarser wood to create flat wood panels. 'Dra' is short for 'dragon'.
Level: Perfect
Attribute: Data
Family: Jungle Troopers
Type: Plant

Description

A large, plant-type Digimon that typically resides in temperate forests. Very aggressive and territorial, Veneerdramon will attack anything that approaches it, though it will admit defeat and look up to a more powerful being that manages to defeat it. It is said once a Veneerdramon makes its home in a forest, it will soon become deserted of Digimon until it leaves. Its tough, wooden armour was made from the bark of trees that grow only deep within the largest of forests, and can withstand physical attacks just as well as regular metal armour. While large and not very fast-moving, Veneerdramon boasts superb physical offense and defense.

Attacks

Plywood Pummel (プライウッドパンメル): Strikes the opponent with the hard claws on its arm guards.

Autumn Storm (オータムストーム): Fires a strong whirlwind blast from its hollow tail, containing sharp orange leaves that can cut the opponent.

Veneer Hammer (ベニヤハンマー): Puts its hands together and rams its arm guards down, striking anything below it. Alternatively, Veneerdramon slams its arms into the ground, creating a giant fissure.

Askrdramon [アスクルドラモン]
Name  origin: 'Askr' was one of the first two humans, along with Embla, in Norse mythology. 'Askr' is Old Norse for 'ash tree'; Yggdrasil, the world tree in Norse mythology, was a giant ash tree, and the ash tree is also considered one of the sacred trees in Celtic mythology.
Level: Ultimate
Attribute: Data
Family: Jungle Troopers
Type: Plant

Description

An enormous Plant type Digimon said to have been born directly from the roots of Yggdrasil itself. It has an extremely long lifespan, with some even theorising that it has been around since the genesis of the Digital World. Its knowledge and wisdom is similarly vast, even if its silent, unmoving demanour may not suggest it. It generally does not take sides in conflicts, unless the survival of nature or the world is at stake, during which it will lend itself to that cause. It is virtually incapable of dodging attacks due to its huge size and slow movements, but it is also capable of withstanding attacks exceptionally well; its bark skin boasts Chrome Digizoid-level hardness. The roots on its feet always latch on and dig into the ground wherever it steps, further slowing it down but allowing it to absorb life energy from the earth. The light emitted by the sail on its back grows stronger the more energy Askrdramon has conserved; it is said that once fully charged, the sail is capable of opening a portal to other servers, or even other worlds.

Attacks

Nithhögg Pike (ニーズヘッグパイク): Stabs the enemy with the sharp edges of its tail. Its tail is capable of extending or even burrowing through the ground and resurfacing, like roots, at high speed.

Askr Foliage (アスクフォリアージュ): Leaves grow to cover its entire body, which then separates to form a copy of Askrdramon made of leaves. The copy then charges towards the enemy and, upon contact, explodes to bombard the enemy with countless razor-sharp leaves.

Pantheon Rupture (パンテオンラプチャー): All of the roots, wood, and bark comprising its body transform into hardened roots that extend towards and impale the enemy simultaneously, absorbing their life energy.

Odin's Arc (オーディンズアーク): Fires an arc-shaped beam of pure life energy from the sail on its back, which when fully charged is intense enough to vapourise anything it hits. Askrdramon can control its intensity, and at lower intensities, this move can be used to heal allies.

Conifamon X-Antibody [コニファモン X抗体]
Name origin: 'Conifa' is a misspelling of 'conifer'.
Level: Child
Attribute: Data
Family: Jungle Troopers
Type: Plant

Deescription

A variant of Conifamon that has attained the X-Antibody, after experiencing harsher living conditions that its original form was not suited for. While it primarily lives in colder climates, similar to Conifamon, it has also started to be capable of living in warmer forests, especially as the number of places with cold climates in the New Digital World began to shrink. It has grown tough bark on some areas of its body, giving it extra attack power, though it is still not a very fast Digimon. While normal Conifamon like sunlight and photosynthesise in it, as Conifamon X are forced to move into the less habitable depths of forests, they prefer the dark and have grown to hunt for food. As a result, Conifamon X are more aggressive than their normal counterparts; when in a state of rage, the markings on its body turn red, increasing attack power and speed but also energy usage.

Attacks

Pine Tail Slam (パインテイルスラム): Hardens the spiky leaves on its tail, and slams it towards the opponent. Similar to Conifamon's Needle Tail, but Conifamon X's tail has more volume, dealing more damage and covering a wider area.

Spruce Spike (スプルーススパイク): Hardens the leaves on its legs and roundhouse kicks the opponent, driving the spike on its foot into the opponent.

Pinecone Shoot (パインコーンシュート): Shoots out small pinecones from its mouth at high speed.

Viidakkomon [ヴィーダッコモン]
Name origin: 'Viidakko' is Finnish for thicket/jungle.
Level: Adult
Attribute: Virus
Family: Jungle Troopers, Nightmare Soldiers
Type: Plant

Description

A nocturnal plant Digimon possessing the X-Antibody. Although it is slow, it is a tough, bulky Digimon built for survival. Its hard, bark-like arms and carapace protect it effectively from physical attacks, but are also capable of withstanding fire to a certain extent, protecting its otherwise fire-weak body. It is recognised in some places as a guardian of the forests, and true to its name, it is very protective of plants and nature. However, it has an extremely hostile and ruthless nature, and will immediately attack anything it deems to be a threat to the forest mercilessly. The sounds it makes sound like an owl hooting, but deeper, and some Digimon believe in praying after hearing its hooting sounds in order to appease it. The markings on its body glow red when it is angered, increasing its battle capabilities but also energy usage.

Attacks

Carmine Root (カーマインルート): The claws on its forelegs extend like roots and pierce into the ground, surfacing where the opponent is and stabbing them, or constricting them in place. This attack has far reach (wherever the ground extends, even if it is solid rock, though not if it is metal), but Viidakkomon has to stay rooted to the spot.

Painajainen (パイナヤイネン/Finnish: Nightmare): The 'eyes' on its forelegs glow, causing an enemy that stares into them to fall into a deep nightmare.

Pinecone Boulder (パインコーンボウルダー): Curls into a hard, spiky ball, and rolls towards the opponent at high speed. It is hard to change its direction once it starts, especially if it rolls downhill.

Mielikkimon [ミエリッキモン]
Name origin: 'Mielikki' is the Finnish goddess of forests and the hunt.
Level: Perfect
Attribute: Virus
Family: Jungle Troopers, Nightmare Soldiers
Type: Demon Man

Description

A Demon Man Digimon possessing the X-Antibody, who inhabits the depths of the forests and is said to have been created from the plants there. Despite its looks, which are often described as 'sinister', it is relatively non-hostile and sometimes even helps travellers lost in the woods. However, it can get very temperamental, and is very easy to offend; it does not forget the face of anyone who gets on its bad side, and it will attack them without mercy. Mielikkimon is very protective of nature, and the easiest way to anger it is to bring harm to the forest within which it resides. Unlike its previous forms, it sacrifices defense for increased speed and offense, excelling in fast and furious attacks. However, it also possesses great spiritual resistance, and so moves that attack the mind or spirit have less effect against it.

Attacks

Xylon Spiral (ザイロン・スパイラル): Materialises a wooden spiral-shaped javelin which is capable of levitating, and makes it fly towards the opponent. It is poison-tipped and can corrupt the data of whatever it comes into contact with (even parts of the surroundings). It can create and manipulate several at once, even in places without vegetation.

Hypnos Chant (ヒュプノスチャント): Does an unsettling chant that puts to sleep all who hear it. Mielikkimon is able to control the strength and effect it has on the chant's hearers; allies recover from their wounds in their sleep, while enemies suffer intense pain from the nightmares.

Henkikarhu (ヘンキカルホゥー/Finnish: Spirit Bear): Creates the large form of a bear out of vegetation, which then rushes towards the opponent with great force. It explodes on impact with the target, sending sharp splinters along with a blast of freezing air at the opponent. Cannot be used in areas without vegetation (like factories, etc).

Ajatarmon [アイアタルモン]
Name origin: 'Ajatar' is an evil female spirit in Finnish mythology, known as the 'Devil of the Woods' and manifests itself as a snake or dragon.
Level: Ultimate
Attribute: Virus
Family: Jungle Troopers, Nightmare Soldiers
Type: Ancient Beast

Description

A Digimon possessing the X-Antibody, said to have been created in ancient times. It resides in the depths of the forests, and it is said that its breath inflicts anyone who approaches it with a deadly virus, in order to keep intruders away. Few have seen it in person, as many believe it to be an imaginary being in a cautionary tale meant to keep young Digimon from straying too far into the forest. It is usually calm and silent, though it will answer any attempts to start a conversation. However, the moment anyone turns their back, Ajatarmon will attack and attempt to devour them, regardless of whether it was provoked or not. While it is a slow-moving Digimon, most of its attacks do not require it to move its body, and so it usually remains stationary and simply dispatches vines that grow out from its body. Its armour is made from hardened bark, and while it is not very hard compared to Digizoid armour, Ajatarmon itself possesses considerable bulk and durability. It possesses enough spiritual strength to communicate via telepathy and read the minds of weaker Digimon, as well as resist a great deal of spiritual attacks.

Attacks

Serpent's Coffin (サーペンツコフィン): The roots covering its belly open up, revealing a multitude of snakes within, made from dark energy. These snakes fly out of its belly and aim towards the opponent, chasing them no matter how far they run until they are grabbed, and pulls them into Ajatarmon's body to be digested into energy made from negative emotions.

Kehdosta Hautaan (ケドスタ・ハウタァン/Finnish: From Cradle to Grave): Uses its gaze to put enemies into a deep sleep. After it is done successfully, the roots covering its belly open and extend into the ground, rising up where the opponent stands, controlling their body and using it to attack (physically only) or as a meat shield. Ajatarmon cannot move while controlling another body.

Saastuminen (サァストゥミネン/Finnish: Contamination): Breathes out a blast of air laden with deadly viruses. Vaccine Digimon are naturally more resistant to this attack, but weaker ones will still experience great pain from the viruses.

Ruumiinavaus (ルゥミーナヴァウス/Finnish: Autopsy): Sharp, tough wooden vines reach out from the non-armoured parts of its body, stabbing through both the opponent and the ground, and uses the same vines the sew the opponent into the earth and crush them. Two vines will grow out of a vine when cut; these vines have to be severed by fire to prevent them from regrowing. While they cannot pierce through Chrome Digizoid, the force of the numerous vines when pressing the opponent into the ground is capable of crushing it.
