Description

A curious baby Digimon. While its body usually feels soft and fluffy, it can harden the hairs covering its body to act as spines in self-defense. Its hairs collect static electricity very easily, which might shock others who touch it.

Description

A baby level Digimon with unusually well-developed limbs, it likes standing on its hind legs, although it will run about on all fours. Similar to its previous form, it can harden the hairs covering its body into spines as an act of self-defense. Its hairs also store electricity, which it can use to create short bursts of light from the sac on its forehead. An energetic Digimon that is most active at night.

Name origin: 'Hystrix' is a genus of porcupines consisting of Old World porcupines.

Description

Energetic and rash, but otherwise a nice and friendly Digimon. It doesn't mind going up to strangers and chatting them up, but many Digimon unfortunately ignore it or stay on their guard due to it being a virus Digimon, although Hystrixmon itself usually bears no ill-will. However, it will only risk its life or go out of its way for real close friends; it does not bat an eye if other strangers need help, especially if it has nothing to gain from it. A nocturnal Digimon, it usually sleeps deep within forests in the day, and goes out at night looking for sources of electricity. It can tank hits quite well and its attacks pack a big punch, but it suffers from its poor running speed and dexterity.

Blitz Scratcher (ブリッツスクラッチャー): Scratches at the opponent with its electric energy claws.

Rollout Cyclone (ロールアウトサイクロン): Charges itself with electricity and does a rollout towards the opponent.

Flash Pummel (フラッシュパメル): Lets out a strong burst of light from its headwear and gauntlets, temporarily blinding the opponent, before pummeling the opponent with a fist to the face.

Mountormon [マウントールモン]
Name origin: 'Mountor' is a portmanteau of 'mountain storm', a literal translation of the Japanese name for porcupine, 'yama-arashi'.

Description

A Digimon that usually resides on mountains, feeding on electricity from lightning strikes. When it is past the stormy season, they may descend the mountains to find other sources of electricity instead. While they may seem ferocious, they are not territorial at all, and in fact are quite social. However, like its previous form, they do not get close to others easily, and would betray a stranger for its own benefit without a second thought. Its mechanised parts give it added defense, offense, and bulk, but in turn slow down its movements even more. However, its powerful limbs allow it to cover great distance in one pounce.

Attacks

Voltaic Claw (ボルタイッククロー): Slashes the opponent with its electrically-charged claws.

Summit Smash (サミットスマッシュ): Lariats the opponent with its sturdy, metallic arms.

Discharge Storm (ディスチャージストーム): Lets out a burst of electricity and quills from its body, electrocuting anything within a 5-metre radius as well as lodging quills into them, prolonging the effect of the attack. Also temporarily blinds Digimon who see the flash directly. A powerful move, but discharges most of the electricity from Mountormon's body, leaving it only able to use physical attacks until it is recharged.

Parjanyamon [パルジャニヤモン]
Name origin: 'Parjanya' is a deity of rain in Vedic mythology, who is sometimes also associated with thunder and lightning.

Description

A territorial cyborg Digimon who is often found in forested or mountainous areas near abandoned buildings or plants. Its personality is a stark departure from its previous form; it is ferocious and completely unsocial, preferring to be alone and attacking anything that enters its territory. Its thunderous roars can be heard over large distances, and are said to bring about thunderstorms. At the expense of its intelligence, its bestial instincts have been heightened, giving it keen senses that can easily detect foes in hiding, or incoming attacks. This, together with its superb stamina and destructive offensive power, makes it a formidable foe to face.

Plasmic Edge (プラズミックエッジ): Slices the opponent with its electrically-charged plasma blades.

Dynamo Booster (ダイナモブースター): Electrically charges the spines all over its body and smashes itself into the opponent, causing great damage if it hits.

Shark Tornado (シャークトルネード): Grabs the opponent with its strong arms in a bear hug, electrocuting the opponent, before doing a spinning suplex and smashing the opponent into the ground.

Thunder Boom (サンダーブーム): Lets out a thunderous bellow, messing up the sound system of anything that hears it, and even causing physical damage to those nearby.

Xolotlmon [ショロトルモン]
Name origin: 'Xolotl' is a god in Aztec mythology, who is associated with lightning and death.
Level: Ultimate

Description

A Machine type Digimon which has completely mechanised its body. Devoid of emotion, it is completely run by a viral program, causing it to be extremely hostile towards anyone who approaches; however, it possesses the intelligence of a supercomputer, which constantly calculates the ideal action to take in any situation. It is protected by heavyweight-class Chrome Digizoid armour, easily causing weaker physical attacks to simply bounce off. However, because of the added weight, Xolotlmon's movements are very slow and clunky; it is able to charge forward with great speed with the help of the numerous boosters at its back, but is unable to do quick turns or actions requiring dexterity, though it makes up for it with superb defense and firepower. Xolotlmon carries multiple plasma-filled canisters which can be used for its attacks, and is able to create and assemble more within its body should they be used up, and removes them from the hatch on its chest.

Attacks

Deform Impact (デフォームインパクト): Charges forward at great speed with the help of its boosters, and rams into the opponent with its large, heavy body.

Twin Disaster (ツインディザスター): Opens the hatch on its chest, revealing a cannon that fires a strong beam of heated plasma, together with the guns mounted on both shoulders.

Arcflash Warhead (アークフラッシュ・ウォーヘッド): Aims its canisters at the opponent, and fires them at great speed after causing a spark in the canister, causing the canister to blow up in a huge electrical explosion. Its forearms are able to bend and rotate freely to move the canisters in position; the canisters on its back are usually fired at opponents in front or behind, and the canisters on its hind legs are usually used for anti-air attacks.

Trajectomon [トラジェクトモン]
Name origin: 'Trajectory' refers to the path taken by a flying projectile or object.

Description

A cyborg Digimon that excels at speed, deviating from Hystrixmon's regular evolution line. Its personality manages to be even more rash and hotheaded than Hystrixmon; it believes in the early bird getting the worm, and often acts first without thinking things through. Its blade-like feet allow it to levitate a short distance above ground, effectively allowing it to skate on air. It suffers low offensive and defensive power, but more than makes up for it with its overwhelming speed and evasion.

Jet Slicer (ジェットスライサー): Slices the opponent with the energy blades extending from its arms.

Pulsar Storm (パルサーストーム): Concentrates cosmic energy between its hands and fires it like a cannon.

Meteor Shredder (メテオシュレッダー): Uses its speed to circle the opponent, forming a tornado that traps and slices at the opponent within.
