Hai ..

Hello ..

Happy reading ..

******************

The story starts in Amritsar.

It's early morning, and a girl is dancing by a lake to a classical song.

She is thoroughly enjoying the music, dancing like a pro. The sun peeks out from behind the clouds, watching her dance and enjoying the scene. Water droplets on the leaves reflect the freshness of nature. The grass beneath her seems blessed by her touch. She is completely lost in her dance, ignoring the world around her.

She is none other than Pallavi Krishnan, the female lead of this story. Dance is her passion and is intertwined with her soul. However, she had to leave her passion due to her family's financial crisis and the responsibility of Prateeksh, her 8-year-old brother.

Unbeknownst to her, a person is taking her photos and capturing her beauty with his camera. He is none other than Anirudh (Anni), her best friend and one-sided admirer. He is admiring her beauty through the photos.

After completing her dance, she stands in a dancing pose, and claps echo around her. Some children start clapping, mesmerized by her dance.

"Bahut dinon ke baad itna accha dance ki tune pallu," Anni said while approaching her.

(You danced like this after so many days.)

"Haan, aaj mein bahut khush hoon kyunki maine saare karz chukaye hain, jo papa ne liye the," she replied.

(Yes, because I cleared all the loans that Dad took.)

"So, what next? What is your next plan in life?" he asked.

"Plans? Abhi toh free hui hoon. Ab mujhe sirf ek zimmedaari hai, jo hai Prateeksh."

(I’m free now. I only have one responsibility, which is Prateeksh.)

"I know, but what about your future? I mean love, marriage?"

"What?" she laughed, "Seriously, I don’t have any plans, at least for now."

His face paled at her answer. He has loved her for many years, but he is unemployed. He hasn’t had a chance to express his feelings because he doesn’t want to become another burden on her while struggling with his career.

"Anni, kya hua? Tum aaj itna chup kyun ho?" she asked, noticing his pale face.

(What happened, Anni?)

"Kuch nahi," he replied.

(Nothing.)

"Chalo, phir office ke liye late ho raha hai," she said.

(Let’s go then; we’re getting late for my office.)

"Haan, chalo. Tumhe office drop karke main bhi interview ke liye chala jaunga," he replied.

(Sure, after dropping you off, I’ll go for an interview.)

They both returned home.

Shalini, Anirudh's and Pallavi's best friend, saw them coming back together.

"Wahh, aaj bhi dekhne chale gaye ho, Anni," she teased.

(Wow, you went to see her dance today as well.)

"Dant mat dikhao, aisa kuch bhi nahi hua humare beech," he replied disinterestedly.

(Don't tease me; nothing happened between us.)

"Haan, kuch hone ke liye propose karna bhi toh zaroori hai, par tumhe to guts nahi hain," she mocked him.

(Yes, but proposing is necessary for something to happen, but you don’t have the guts.)

"Tum kehna kya chahhti ho? Should I go in front of her, get down on one knee, and say, 'I love you, Pallu'? Then next minute, our friendship will be like a fish out of water," he said dramatically, making Shalini burst into laughter.

"But I really wish Pallu gets a life partner who would burn the entire universe for her smile, like setting the whole world on fire," she ended, singing a song.

"Mujhe duniya jalane wala nahi, mujhe sambhalne wala chahiye," Pallavi said, coming from nowhere.

(I don’t need someone who will burn the world; I need someone who will support me.)

"Tum... Tum yahan? Hum tumhare liye baat nahi kar rahe hain," Shalini said, stammering, because she knew her bestie wasn’t interested in men who are cruel, stone-hearted, and show their power unnecessarily.

"I know, my dear, but you know I don’t like people who flaunt their power and money," Pallavi said, and Anni and Shalini sighed in relief after seeing her pleasant mood.

"Toh kaisa ladka chahiye tumhe? Any particular qualities?" Anni asked, trying his luck.

"Hmm, sabse pehle, woh rich bilkul bhi nahi hona chahiye," Pallavi said, dreaming of her future life partner.

(First of all, he should not be rich at all.)

On some island:

"A man was landing from his private jet on the island's sand. He kept his black shades on and walked on the sand. 10-12 bodyguards surrounded him, armed with guns and walkie-talkies."

"He has to be soft towards the people around him; he doesn’t have to show his masculinity to the world. He has to be a little gentle, at least towards me," she said with a sparkle in her eyes.

The same man on the island walked towards a warehouse, went straight to a dark room, and had his men open the door. He took a cigar from his pocket, and a bodyguard lit it for him. His aura was menacing. He stepped into the room and placed his lit cigar on a man’s hand, who was tied to a chair. The other man lay in a pool of blood, with blood oozing from the corners of his lips.

"If anyone makes a mistake, they should be forgiven because there is no place for hatred in this one life," she said with her favorite warm smile, making anyone adore and lose themselves in her smile.

"Tumne mujhe, THE ARJUN SRIVASTAV ko dhoka dene ki koshish ki, tumne mere hathiyaar ka misuse kiya aur ab ek baccha hospital bed pe hai. Tumhare jeene ka koi hak nahi hai, bast*rd," he said, extending his hand as a bodyguard handed him his gun. "Say hi to my enemies who are waiting for you in hell." He was about to pull the trigger when his phone rang.

"Plz leave me Arjun, plz I am your dad's friend," the man pleaded, his hands and body still tied to the chair.

"If I hear any good news on my phone, I might leave you. Pray to the universe; don’t bring me any bad news because the person calling me right now is the last person I expect good news from," he said, seeing Abrahm’s name flashing on his screen.

"Overall, I want a guy who is just a normal person, not a superhero or male alpha type who sets the world on fire, but someone who can handle the world."

"Hmmm," he hummed into the phone and immediately shot the person who was still hoping for good news. When he lost his breath, he didn’t even realize it.

"Yeh kya awaaz hai?" Abrahm asked after hearing the gunshot.

"Abhi ek black sheep ko raaste se hata diya hai. Main aaraha hoon, 45 minutes mein. Tum mansion mein mera intezaar karo," he said, hanging up without waiting for a response.

Seeing this, a person swallowed hard out of fear, sweating badly. His friend observed this and whispered to him.

"He is not a normal person; he is a hungry cheetah. Just stay within your limits and don’t even think about making a mistake."

He returned to his jet. His security in-charge, Neil, gave instructions to all guards and the pilot. Arjun left for his mansion to solve another problem created by his crazy family and foolish brothers, but little did he know.

"Darta jahaan humse, hum tose darte Yi sab jaane mori Raniya haaye"

So that’s it for the introduction. Let’s meet in the next chapter soon.
