A/N: I wanted to reveal it later but since everyone has guessed already, I will reveal something.

Gauri's bedroom

The sun peeped through the curtains and disturbed Omkara and Gauri. Gauri snuggled more into Omkara's chest. She was still on top of him. Omkara woke up due to the sudden movement. Omkara looks at Gauri and smiles.

Omkara (kisses her forehead): "Good morning, Chutki."

Gauri hums and sleeps again. Omkara settles her on the bed and covers her with a blanket. He jumps off the bed and starts to explore her room and then his eyes fall on many polaroid pictures attached to fairy lights. He smiles at the pictures.

Omkara chuckles at these cute memories.

Omkara and Gauri used to be childhood friends, not friends, sweethearts. They were born on the same day but Omkara was born 4 years and 1 minute before Gauri. Jhanvi, Tej and Sharmishta and her husband were school and college friends. He still remembers when his favourite Shomi aunty or Shomi ma as he use to call her was in the labour room and he was walking here and there.

FB (24 years ago)

A three-year-old Omkara was walking from here to there in the hospital. A very pregnant Jhanvi, Zayn and Tej were at the hospital with Sharmishta. Zayn was sleeping in Tej's lap.

Omkara 👆

Om (to Jhanvi): "Mama, Shomi mama ko kya hoha hai, woh cila kyu rali hai?" Mom, what happened to Shomi mom? Why is she scleaming?)

Jhanvi (runs hand through his hair): "Om rali nhi rahi or cila nhi chila and apki Shomi mama issi liye chila rahi hai, kyuki jo baby hai na woh aane wala hai." (Om it's screaming not scleaming and your Shomi mom is screaming because the baby is coming)

Om (cutely): "really mama, meli friend aane wali hai." (Really mom, my friend is coming)

Jhanvi: "apko kaise pata woh ladki hogi aur ladka nhi." (How do you know its a girl, what if its a boy)

Om (grins): "kyu ki maine Shomi mama ke saath mandil mein shankelji se ek girl mangi thi." (Because I went to the temple with Shomi mom and asked Sankerji for a girl)

Jhanvi: "really?"

Tej smiles

Om: "yes, mama and fil na panditji ne mela naam poocha toh maine aap naam Omkara bata diya, and fil unho ne mujhe bataya ki sankalji ka naam bhi Omkara hai and fil unki wife ke bale mein bhi bataya." (Yes mom and then panditji asked me my name so I told him my name Omkara, and then he told me that Sankerji's name is also Omkara and also told me about Sankerji's wife)

Tej: "very good, mera prince bada ho raha hai." (Very good, my prince is growing up)

Om (smiles): "Yes Papa."

The screaming of Sharmishta stopped and crying of a baby was heard. After 10 minutes, the nurse walks out of the operation theater with something wrapped in a pink blanket.

Nurse (handing the baby to Jhanvi): "congratulations, it's a girl."

Om grins and runs to Jhanvi, who is sitting with the baby in her lap. Om stares at the baby and is fascinated by her.

Nurse: "Apki dost ko hosh aa gaya hai and woh ab normal ward mein hai toh aap unse mil sakhte hai." (Your friend is now conscious and she is in the normal ward, you can meet her)

They nod and the nurse leaves. They walk inside the room, with Jhanvi holding the newborn baby, and Tej holding Om's hand while carrying a sleeping Zayn in his arms.

Room

Sharmishta is sitting on the bed waiting for TejVi, Om, her newborn and Zayn. TejVi, Om and Zayn enter with the newborn baby.

Tej (placing a sleeping Zayn on the couch): "kaise ho, Mishti?" (How are you, Mishti?)

Sharmishta: "I am fine, Tej and Om Happy Birthday."

Om (smiles): "thank you Shomi mama."

Jhanvi hands the newborn to Sharmishta. Sharmishta admires her.

Sharmishta (in a baby voice): "hello baby."

Om chuckles, all smile.

Om: "Shomi mama kya main baby ko pakal sakhta hoon?" (Shomi mom, can I hold the baby)

Sharmishta: "of course Om."

Sharmishta is about to hand the baby to Om when:

Om: "ek minute." (One minute)

Om climbs on the bed and crosses his legs.

Om: "ab meli friend ko mujhe do." (Now hand me over my friend)

Sharmishta hands the baby to Om.

Tej: "Prince, apne bed pe baith ke hi kyu baby ko pakda." (Prince, why did you climb the bed before holding the baby)

Om (playing with the baby's little hand): "Papa agar baby gil jata toh?" (Papa, what if the baby falls)

All smile at Om.

Sharmishta: "aacha ab baby ka naam kya rakhna hai." (Ok now let's name tge baby)

Om (quickly): "baby ka naam hoga Gauri." (The baby's name will be Gauri)

Trio: "Wow! Kitna pyara naam hai." (Wow! What a lovely name)

Jhanvi: "but Om, Gauri hi kyu?" (But Om why Gauri)

Om: "kyuki mama, Sankalji ki wife ka naam bhi Gauri tha and Sankalji ka naam bhi Omkara tha, isse liye Gauri." (Because mom, Sankarji's wife's name is also Gauri and Sankarji's name is also Omkara, so Gauri)

Tej: "iska matlab aap Gauri se shadi karoge?" (That means you will marry Gauri)

Om (determined): "yes papa, kyuki Gauri silf Omkara ki hai and main silf Gauri se hi shadi karoga." (Yes papa because Gauri is only Omkara's and only I will marry Gauri)

Gauri opens her eyes and the first thing she sees is Omkara's face.

Om: "dekha mama, Gauri ne jabse pehle mujhe hi dekha, I love you Gauri (hugs her close to his heart): main tumhe humesha protect karoga." (See mom, Gauri saw me first, I love you Gauri, I will always protect you)

The trio was sure that with the look on Omkara's face, he will only marry Gauri and will keep all his promises. The trio admires the bond between them.

Om grins at the memory and now that he has found his Chutki, he will always protect her and will marry her. He finally got his inspiration back and the only reason for him to smile.

As they grew up, Gauri and Om were the closest to each other. Gauri use to call Om, either; Omi or Zulfi and Om use to call Gauri, either Chutki or Chikoo. Both were best friends.

If Gauri ever got in trouble for breaking something or anything, Om would either take the blame or the punishment for her. If any ever troubled her, then the calm Om would beat them up. If anyone bullied Om, Gauri would beat them up. They use to wear matching clothes. Gauri was the one that inspired and supported Om to become an artist and follow his heart. She once even fought with Tej because he was yelling at Om, Tej apologized and patted Gauri's head. Gauri was everyone's favorite.
People use to admire their bond. When Shivaay, Rudra, Anika and Soumya moved in, Om and Gauri made friends with them and they were friends since. Zayn and Zara use to best friends and only play with each other and no one else.

They never knew each other's last names. They use to go to the same school. When Om turned 17 and Gauri turned 14, Tej had to move due to his job, Om and Jhanvi were asked to move with him.

Om was really mad at Tej. He met Gauri and told her about this, she gave him her favourite toy and her payal (which he still has) to keep. When it was time for them to leave, Om and Gauri were crying the most but Jhanvi asked Om to sit in the car after wiping her own tears. Om sat in the car with the payal and toy close to him.

"I promise Chutki ki I will only smile when I meet you and I will never look at a woman and I will only marry you." Om made that promise to himself and since then he had never smiled and looked at another woman. He has never talked to Tej after that.

Om heard some movement and turned around to see Gauri waking up. He quickly ran beside the bed qnd stood there.

Om: "Good morning."

Gauri (getting out of bed): "Good morning sir."

Om frowns but covers it up.

Gauri (avoiding eye contact): "sir woh ek spare toothbrush hai washroom mein aap woh use kar lijiye and aap bhai ke kapde pehan sakhte hai, main tab tak fresh hokar apke liye apki coffee banati hoon." (Sir there is a spare toothbrush in the washroom, you can use that and you can wear my brother's clothes, till then I will make you coffee)

Om nods and heads to the guest washroom taking Zayn's clothes while Gauri freshens up in her own bathroom.
