We are so far yet so close...

Avni was in her office but her mind was with him.. She doesn't know why she behaved so wierd in front of him.. He came just to see her once.. May be as she has trust issues.. But one thing is for sure,  she trust him.. He is the one who made his way through her heart.. She can't lie to herself.. It's getting more than just an attraction..
She could still feel his wramth.. The way he hugged her..
She has imagined how things will take place when she will meet her soulmate. Their first hug, kiss, and... But she was uncomfortable even at all those time to think, but today when it happened she was happy.. So happy that she didn't know how to respond and she spoiled the moment..
How he must be thinking.. She felt sad.. N took her phone n texted..

Come soon,  I will be waiting for you.  Take care.

A smile kept on her face..
He was about to board when he saw his phone and he was happy would be an understatement, he was more than happy..
I will miss you  he wrote.

She was dumbstruck again,  what to reply..
Happy journey this is all she could wrote..
He understood her feelings.. Smiled and went inside the flight..

Later in the night,  when Neela was talking to Avni about what happened today at the khannas.. How nice people they are.. Avni could only think of him.. His whereabouts.. Has he reached?
She looked for her phone but it was no where.. She remember where it is.. In her bag..
She took it out and read his message..
Reached safely.. Will talk to you tomorrow.
She smiled..

The next day the mehtas left to their home and now Avni was all alone. She was back at home at 8..rested for a while and then decided to cook something light..
She was cutting the vegetables when her phone ranged.. She saw and his name was there.. It was their first call conversation she thought..
Hello...  Avni said

Hey Avni..
Kaisi ho?  Kya kar rahi ho?

Avni
Abhi office se aayi huin and khanna bana rahi huin she said lightly..

Neil
Yeh toh galat baat hai

Avni
Kya khanna banana?  She asked innocently

Neil
Nahi.. Mujhe yahan tumhari yaad aa rahi hai and tum wahan aaram se khana bana rahi ho.. Don't you miss me?  U know aj pura din i was thinking about you and you and you.. I was waiting kab raat ho and tumse baat karuin.. I am getting addicted to you..
He was missing her so badly that he didn't know what he is saying.. Whereas Avni could not decide what to say..

Avni
Anything that cause addiction is not good for health Mr. Khanna

Neil
But getting addicted to your wife is not bad at all.. Right Mrs.  Khanna?

Avni feels so good when he calls her Mrs.  Khanna..

Neil
Ab mujhe lagta hai hume shadi november mein hi kar leni chahiye thi..

Avni
Ji nahi..

And they continued their teasing session..
Days went and their bond started to grow even more.. They got know more and more about each other.. Avni felt that even arrange marriage is not that bad.. U just need a right partner with you..
Whereas Neil knew that giving another chance for love has proved so great for him..

Neil's family was so good they mostly everyday calls her.. Ask her is she fine staying alone?  Does she need anything?  Even Prakash has offered her a job in his company but she refused.. She wants to do something on her own.. And they respected her wish.. They are like her own parents.. More than that.. The place of father which was void in Avni's life somewhere taken by Prakash..

One day when Avni entered in her office saw Juhi already arrived..
Avni:  Juhi Tu aa gayi and mujhe bataya bhi nahi..
Juhi:  jaise tune sab bataya mujhe?  ( angered)
Avni understood her meaning.. She raised her hands and hold her eyes and cutely said sorry.
Juhi:  don't do this.. U know I can't see you like this also I am angry and I want to be..
Avni:  yaar maine batana tha.. But sabkuch itni jaldi mein hua.. Neil ko 2 don mein mumbai jana tha.. Dekh humne engagement nahi ki kyunki Tu and vidyut nahi the.. And tune hi bola tha ki honeymoon pe mujhe koi distrub nahi karega bass isiliye..
Juhi:  disturb karne ko mana kiya tha.. Important baat batane ko nahi..
Avni:  I am sorry.. Please forgive me.
Juhi:  ek shart pe..
Avni:  I agree to all your shart vart yaar..
Juhi:  acha bata how does it feel?  Matlab tu aur Neil.. (She winked and starts teasing her)
Avni:  Tu nahi sudhregi..
Juhi:  Arre i am dying to know.. Chal ab bhao mat kha and bata..
Avni:  Maine tujhse pucha teri Honeymoon details?
Juhi:  puch.. Puchle.. Acha i tell you.. Din bhar ghumne ke baad when we reached our room we kissed then we started..
Avni:  Juhiiiiiiii just shut up..  I have no interest in knowing all this..
Juhi:  but i have..  I want to know anything and everything in my best friends life.. So now speak up.. Acha chal yeh bata have you both kissed?
Avni:  no..
Juhi:  tu pagal hai.. Roka ho gaya ek kiss toh banti hai.. How unromantic you both are.. Neil se mujhe yeh umeed nahi thi..
Avni rolled her eyes
Juhi:  acha hug toh hua hi hoga..
Avni:  han but.. But i didn't reciprocated as I was shy.
Juhi slammed her head
Tu pagal hai Avni.. Tera kya karuin main?  Do you know your age?  Teri umar mein logon ke bache ho jate hai and u feel shy in just one hug..
Avni gave her a look..
Juhi:  look kya de rahi hai.. Now I have to teach you a lot of things..
Acha yeh bata do you love him?
Avni:  love.. Maine socha nahi..
Juhi:  hmm sahi baat hai.. Abhi kyun sochna.. Bache hone ke baad sochna..
Avni:  juhiii
Juhi:  kya juhi juhi... Yeh kitni important baat hai.. And tujhe yeh nahi pata... Tu na pagal hai puri..

Avni was lost in her words.. Does she love him?  Has it started?
