Ashish was way more eager to know about the prospects family.. He dialled the number of Ketan and asked him to take all the necessary information and revert back as soon as possible.
Ashish was walking anxiously to and fro while Neela kept watching him.. Finally Neela broke the silence..
Neela:  Ashish aap baith jaye thori der.
And then his phone rang
Ashish:  hello.. Haan... U sure.. Acha.. Aur.. Ohh.. Yeh toh achi baat hai.. Acha.. Han. Han.. Thik hai main call karta huin tumhe thori der mein.
Neela:  kiska phone tha?
Ashish:  Ketan ka.. ( Neela sit straight hearing the name)
Wo bol raha tha ki family bohot hi achi hai.. Unka ek hi beta hai Neil.. Kafi qualified hai.. Market and society dono mein hi bohot naam hai unka..
Neela:  hmm
Ashish:  hmm kya.. Baat karo Avni se
Neela:  tumhe nahi lagta yeh sab bohot zyada jaldi hai i mean..
Before she could say further.. She was cut by him.
Ashish:  toh tum kya chahti ho Neela ghar pe baitha le usse... 28 ki ho gayi hai wo.. Aur der ki toh aage ache rishte nahi milenge.. Itna acha rishta samne se chal ke aaya hai and hum yuin hi jane de.. Juhi.. Avni ki friend.. Wo khud bol rahi hai phir bhi.. and hum delhi bhi isiliye aaye hai na.. Mujhe kuch nahi pata wo aj aaye toh baat karo usse warna mujhe karni paregi.. Saying this he left..

In the evening
Avni:  maa i am back!  Mujhe bohot bhuk lagi hai.. Please kuch de do.. 
Riyaaa Tu aise has kyun rahi hai?  Kya  hai?  Kuch hua hai kya? Avni asked innocently.
Riya:  hua toh kuch nahi hai magar hone wala zaroor hai..

Riya:  wo..  And she was cut by Neela. Neela nodded her and Riya left.

Avni:  thank you maa.. Pata hai bohot bhuk lagi thi.. Aj itna kaam tha na office mein ki pucho hi mat.. Kl shadi ke baad itni thak gayi huin main.. Mann kar raha hai bass so hi..
Neela:  Avniii..  Mujhe.. Mujhe kuch baat karni hai tumse.
Avni:  haan maa boliye.
Neela:  beta wo.. Wo aj Juhi and uski mummy aaye the..
Avni:  Juhi.. Aj.. Yahan.. Kyun?  Ek din iska mann nahi lagta mere bina.. Hehe
Neela.. Avniii
Avni:  sorry.. Sorry
Neela:  wo tumhare liye rishta leke aaye the..
Avni stopped eating when she heard her.. She looked towards her in order to confirm whether what she listen ia what she actually said.
Avni:  aapko pata hai maa.. Mujhe shadi nahi karni.. She said sternly.
Neela:  but beta kab tak.. Kabhi na kabhi toh..
Avni:  jab mujhe koi aisa mil jayega jo zindagi bhar sath nibhane layak lagega tab main shadi kar lungi.. But yuin arrange marriage nahi..
Neela:  Avni.. Suno i understand..
Avni:  nahi maa.. U won't understand.. Agar samjhte toh yeh na bolte.
They were busy doing argument when Ashish entered in the room. He has listened everything.
Ashish:  yeh kya tarika hai apni maa se baat karne ka?  Tumse bass ek baar milne ko bola hai.. Shadi thori kara rahe hai?
Avni kept looking at floor.. She was silent.
Ashish:  Avni.. Kyun nahi karni hai shadi tumhe?  Sab karte hai.. One day you have to..
Avni:  kyunki mujhe aapke jaisa husband nahi chahiye.. I don't want jaise meri mom kisi life kharab hui koi meri bhi kare. I don't want jaise maa and humne suffer kiya hai aage main n mere bache bhi kare.. Aap toh apne jaisa hi larka pasand karenge mere liye.. Jo.. Jise ek baar bhi bura na lage apni wife pe haath uthate hue..
She said while sobbing..
Neela:  Avniiii...
Avni:  kya kuch galat bola maine?  Please maa i don't want this.. I don't want to repeat the history.
Saying this Avni left..
Neela:  ashish.. Please.. Wo gusse mein.. You know her right.. Please dil pe kuch mat lo.. Main baat karti huin usse and wo maan jayegi don't worry..

In the garden
Avni was sitting and sobbing silently.. She could still feel her past.. Even today she can't sleep with those nightmares.. She still remember how his father comes to home daily.. Drinks and whatever happened in the whole day.. All his anger he pours over his wife by beating him or abusing her.. Her family.. Just because her mother did a mistake.. Yes a mistake.. A very small mistake and for which she had to suffer for 10 good years.. Initially it was his daily routine to come home after drinking.. Refuses to eat anything.. Abuse Neela.. Her family.. Beat her.. Avni and Riya was 7 and 6 years respectively when all this started.. Before that one event they were living as a happy family..  She remembers how they both inspite of being so small attempts to stop their father so that he  couldn't beat their mother.. This was his daily routine.. This has affected them so much.. Especially Avni that initially she even started to cut off with her friends.. Mental torture..  She still remembers each and every tears in her mother's eyes.. Years went by though ashish has stopped beating daily.. He does it casually but his habit of abusing Neela was not stopped. 10 years of abuse.. How can she forget all this?  How can she forgive him?  How can she trust on a male?  She is angry on her father for doing injustice to her mother.
She is angry on her mother that why she doesn't left him?  To which her mother always said because I have my two precious things here..
She is angry on her maternal relatives.. How could them.. They even not for once asked how is their daughter living?  They knew that their son-in-law pours all his anger on her daughter still they never ever came to their house and made them understand what he is doing is wrong.. And her mother stays silent and bear all this.. Whenever she went to her maternal home she was just asked to take care of her husband.. Support him..as a good wife should possess such qualities.. Neela knew her family won't be supporting her if she took a step and that is why she never told them what is happening with her..
Later things got changed.. Changed for good and Ashish become normal.. They have again become a happy family but.. Only in front of outsiders.. Neela want Avni to forgive her father.. Never disrespects him as she believed that he is the only one who took care of all of them.. If he wouldn't be there how would they survived? She believed that Ashish has just anger issues and that too because of her mistake.. Else he is a good man.
Avni somewhere knew that she is right.. ashish is the most honest person she have ever seen.. He has fulfilled all his family needs but what he has done with her mother.. She can never forgive him.. And just for the sake of Neela she decided to talk to him,  only in front of the society.. For his so called respect.. But inside the house the both live as two complete strangers..

Neela kept her hand on Avni shoulder n sit beside her and said Avni..
Shhh... Ro mat beta.. Please..
Avni hugged her and started crying but soon she stopped sensing where they are?  It could lead to a number of questions.
She wiped of her tears..
Neela:  Avni.. Tumne aise baat kyun ki beta? 
Avni:  u know maa..  Mujhe nahi pasand wo mere maamle mein bole.. I hate it.. Sirf aapke liye i have forgiven him ab isse zyada main kuch nahi kar sakti.
Neela: toh  mere liya haan bhi kar do..
Avni:  maa.. She said hopelessly.
Neela:  beta suno.. Har larka tumhare papa jaisa nahi hota.. Tumhare kitne male friends hai.. Kya kabhi have you seen them like this. Ya apne chachu ko?  Ya kisi uncle ko?  Nahi naa.. Phir?
Dekho Avni har insaan ko judge karna mat sikho jab u don't know how they are.. ( Avni lowered her eyes) 
Har insaan alag hota hai.. Kuch acha hota hai unmein toh kuch bura.. Kyun tum mein bhi toh kitni burai hai..  Tum bhi toh perfect nahi.. Then why u want someone to be perfect?
Avni:  maa mujhe perfect nahi chahiye bass i am scared.. Scared agar wo bhi papa jaisa nikla toh.?
Neela:  agar tum yeh sochogi toh kabhi koi enter nahi kar payega tumhari life mein..  Zaroori nahi jo tmhare past mein hua wo tumhare future mein bhi ho.. Ek baar time do.. Chance do usko and khud ko.. Ek baar mil ke toh dekho..  I know meri beti ko aata hai insaan ki pehchan karna.  Dekho final decision tumhara hai but agar itne log bol rahe hai toh ek baar give it a try.. Hmmm
Think for once.. She said and tapped her shoulder and left, leaving Avni in trail of thoughts..

Avni came back to her home after an hour..
Avni:  maa.. I am ready.. Aap unhe sunday ko bula le..  Saying this she left to her room making everybody happy..
Neela smiled and thanked God silently.. Somewhere she is having a feeling that this boy is the one for her daughter..

Ashish informed Juhi's mom and she further informed Neil's family to meet on Sunday at a restaurant..

Avni was trying to sleep when her phone rang.. It was of Juhi..

Juhi:  congratulations girl.. Finally u said yes..
Avni:  milne ke liye bola hai shaadi ke liye nahi..
Juhi:  wo bhi bol dogi.. Don't worry.
Avni:  excuse me.. Tum hi ho na wo jo yeh rishta layi ho?  Tmko chain nahi hai.. Khud fas gayi and Mujhe bhi fasa rahi ho ab iss jhanjhat mein..
Juhi:  haan socha Maine ki main akele hi kyun bhugtu.. Meri dost ke bhi maze hone chahiye na.. She chuckled.
Avni:  bohot buri baat hai yeh..  Main toh usse janti bhi nahi.. And ab shadi..  Na teri shadi mein aati na yeh sab hota..
Juhi:  Avni.. Avni bol kya hua?
Avni:  I don't know yaar.. Mujhe darr lag raha hai.. Agar wo bura hua toh?  Agar wo..
Juhi:  Avni tum kyun itna negative sochti ho?  And kyun kharab hoga wo?  Itni criminal series dekhna band karo please.. Main janti huin usse.. Vidyut ka toh bachpan ka friend hai.. I can guarantee you wo bohot acha hai.. Tum bass mil lo please..
Avni:  hmm
Juhi:  hmm nahi.. Acha sunday ko main toh hongi nahi.. But india wapas aane ke baad mujhe batana kya kya hua..
Avni:  ohh shitt.. Tm toh honeymoon ke liye ja rhi ho..  Ab mere sath kaun hoga..
Juhi:  dont worry sab acha hoga... And Neil hai na.. Wo hoga sath mein..
Acha i got to go.. Mummy ji bula rahi hai.. Byee
Avni:  byee and enjoy...

Avni:  pata nahi life mein aur kya kya dekhna baki hai...
