"Why didn't anyone ask me if I did it?"

THE FIVE MAGICIANS walk through the nasty apartment observing everything in sight. Athena pulls her jacket around her tightly, because it is freezing in there and she's just wearing dance shorts, white tank top and an oversize mustard hoodie which goes down to her butt.

"Man it's freezing in here," Jack exclaimed from behind Athena. "Yeah no kidding," Athena replied him. 

Jack look at her back when she said and then realized that from the back it looks like the girl is not wearing any pants. Athena can feel someone's eyes on her back, and since Jack is the only one behind her she decided to speak up. 

"Staring is rude Mr.Wilder" Jack coughed before feeling a blush creeping on his face.

"I'm not staring, I'm admiring," He said "Same difference" Athena fired back. 

Once they get to the family room they all stop wandering and look around it to see anything that is needed to be done. There's some weird carving on the floor. 

"What's that?" Henley asks. Danny walks over and picks up a card laying next to a white rose and a vase that has water in it.

"What does it says?" Merritt asks, "Now you don't" Danny read whatever it is written on the card out loud so the others can hear him. 

Henley picks up a white rose and put it in a vase in the middle of the family room, which Athena finds it odd. 

"A rose by any other name.." Henley mutters under her breath.

As soon as the rose is in the vase, water stars to pour out of the bottom of the vase. "Guys, what's happening?" Jack asks the people in the room. 

"Whoa, look at that" Merritt exclaimed looking at the water that is moving towards the carving on the floor. "Whoa," Danny exclaimed, the proceeds to drop his bag on the floor. The water starts to fill in the space on the floor.

The carving dropped and gas starts to come out of it. They all backed up a little bit, and Jack subconsciously gets closer to Athena and both of them didn't realize this. 

"It's gas," Jack said "Relax, just dry ice," Athena and Merritt said at the same time. Both of them look at each other weirdly before looking back at the weird scene in front of them. Jack dropped his bag on the floor before walking around the gas to get a closer look at it.

"Cool," Henley said before looking at the other girl in the room, they give each other questioning looks. "Wait. what do you think this is all about?" Danny asks them.

 "Hang on, hang on," Merritt said and his hands touch the side of his head and close his eyes trying to use his ability in Mentalism to figure it out. The others look at him in anticipation, before he scrunches up his face and opens his eyes 

"I got nothing" He said. Athena slumped her shoulders and drop her bag on the floor before resting her hand on her waist.

"Okay, thank you. thank you for the delay" Danny said and Athena rolls her eyes. "You don't anything either, so calm down there Danny boy. Don't go into asshole mode" She said to him. 

"Well that is impossible, because it seems like its his default switch" Henley said which causes the other girl in the room to snort, and both of them earned a glare from Danny, not that they care.

"I'm just trying to create a space for wisdom" Merritt said to Danny, the man himself look back at the older guy "Okay, so you're like Buddha, if he wasn't so enlightened" Danny said 

"And you're like Jesus if he was arrogant and all his miracles were fake." Merritt fires back, Athena snorted once again, and try everything in her will to stifle a laugh.

"Okay, lovebirds, get a room, Danny be honest, did you do this?" Henley asks Danny and look at his face. "No, wait did you?" Danny replies Henley and asks Jack. "I wish" He replied his idol. 

"What about you Ms. Knight, did you do this?" Danny asks Athena. "Nah, I would've used sleeping gas." She said "She would" Henley said without looking at her childhood friend.

Athena gives her a toothy grin. "Why didn't anyone asks me if I did it?" Merritt asks and everybody in the room gave him a pointed look. 

Danny walk over to turn on the light but it appears that the electricity is out. "Electricity is out" Jack said, as if he was reading the younger girl's mind. "Well, let's check" Merritt said and touch one of the light bulbs from one of the lights.

As soon as he touches it, the light bulb went on and something from outside of the apartment shine through the door and into the family room. "Whoa" Danny said in amazement. Then another one appeared from behind Jack and Athena, then another one from behind Merritt.

They all look at the thing forming in front of them. Athena walks closer to it, and her mouth slightly open. "Blueprints," Henley said. "Holographic blueprints, haven't seen these since my dad died" Athena said out of the blue, they all look at her in pity, which she ignored. 

"They're incredible" Daniel said. "Who do you think did this?" Jack asks, "Jesus?" Athena replied, sarcasm dripping from her words. Jack gives her a look and she replied with a smirk. 

"I don't know, but I really want to meet them," Henley said. Athena turned around and walk over to a bedside table. She looks at it weirdly, she opens the top drawer only to find herself speechless. 

"You probably have," She said loudly to reply to Henley. They all look at her weirdly. The girl turns around with an object in her hands.

"It's my dads." She said to them, her head spinning with questions.
