A Charizard was flying in the sky above the Johto region with his trainer on his back. He landed in a abandoned forest in Ecrutek city.

' Thanks Charizard, now take long rest' said his trainer as he returned him in his pokeball.

He took out another pokeball and from it appeared a Lucario.

' Master Red, where are we?' asked Lucario.

' We are in a forest of Ecrutek city. There's a Pokemon tournament tomorrow in the city. I was thinking of participating in it' Red said.

Red and Lucario started walking out of the forest. Once they reached the city, they saw many posters of the tournament hanging as hoardings in the city. They went in the Pokemon centre.

' Hello, how can we help you?' asked Nurse Joy.

' I want to enter the tournament that will be happening tomorrow.' Said Red.

' Okay sir. Please place your Pokedex here' Nurse Joy said as she pointed towards a machine.

' Sure ' Red said as he placed his Pokedex in the machine.

Nurse Joy did a few typing on the computer.

' So Red Ketchum from Pallet town, currently not having any gym badge, has 200 pokemons' Nurse Joy said.

' Yes' Red said.

' Here, you are all set for tomorrow. This is your room key. Have a good day' Nurse Joy said.

' Thank you. You too have a good day' Red said.

He left for his room. When he reached his room, he placed his backpack on the table and went downstairs with Lucario.

' Let's see the city and then find a place to train' Red said.

' As you wish Master' Lucario said.

They went downstairs and headed out of Pokemon centre. They were walking towards the park when Red turned around.

' What happened master?' Lucario asked.

' I thought that someone was calling me' Red said.

They went towards the park and started training.
