"And than that guy tries to murder me like he looks like a dried up husk" A male with messy dyed black locks and scars being held together by staples told the little bundle in his arms, bright blue eyes matching his own looked up at him as little hands grabbed at his finger, "But no need to worry your father is fine {Y/N}" he told the little baby with small tufts of {H/C} hair.

The little baby in his arms meant the world to him, she was a couple months old as of now and he had trouble raising her by himself but it was fine, even though whenever he did go outside for job hunting he'd leave her in the care of his neighbor, someone whom barely minded the holes in the roof and didn't care to rat him out to the authorities, because he was a single father with a baby to take care of.

She was no mistake in his eyes, a one night stand leading to him caring for his own child, the female he got pregnant had left the baby at his doorstep a few months ago, and he had refused to turn out like his own father, he wasn't going to be a bad parent, he visited his mother that he hadn't seen in years and she was happy to see him alive and well, even with the scars and staples.

Though even more so she was overjoyed of the little bundle he brought with him, her granddaughter, one she was allowed to hold and teach her son how to take care of, behind his own fathers back, he had to make certain no one saw him though now, he was soon going down a path of a villain to keep his daughter safe, to keep them both afloat.

But even so he'd tell her, he would always tell his daughter of his day when he got back, because holding her like he was now made him happy, she brought him joy, even though he wasn't cut out to be a parent, his mother reassured him, he just hoped she didn't inherit his fire quirk, and instead one that didn't remind him of the past.

Placing her down in her crib, one his neighbor had given him, he looked at her sleeping face, he would do anything for her, he would remind himself even with the lack of sleep he got, he would do everything for her, because unlike the douche that raised him he didn't want his own daughter to hate him, because he wasn't a dick.

And he'd be the best father he could be for her, because he actually had a heart.
