I kick it away from us and we head inside, barricade the doors and backed away.

Rachael: (whimpers)

Rachael wore a purple and navy blue striped Backdraft Turtleneck Dress and high high thigh black boots.

She was traumatized in fear, I grabbed her shoulders and pulled her to my face.

We saw a zombie bear, breaking a window and clawing his way in.

Bear: (growl)

We continued to stare at him

My name is John hunter and I am DOCTOR MIDNIGHT

It all started 24 hours ago, it was dawn and I was doing usual daily morning patrol routine before work. I was in Greenville since most crimes happen there with museums and jewelry stores, it was a criminal's shopping mall and a good way for me to practice for my most wanted goons

Was I flying through the city with my grabbing hook.  I heard a scream.

Rachael: (screams)

Doctor midnight: huh

I flew down on top of a building and saw that Rachael was in danger, she was being surrounded by a gang of thuds, two big dark men one with a Mohawk the other threaded locks both wearing white sleeveless t-shirts, baggy pants and sneakers. One biker muscular mar with a beard and mustache, to more muscular motorcycle with black pants and boots, one had shades and a leather jacket the other a mustache and leather vest and the last one thin biker boots, pants with a chain attached, a leather jacket and white t-shirt he was holding a chain weapon, they all cornered her.

Cruz: well what do we have here

Rachael: (gasp) please

Cruz: a little lady at out in a place

Rachael: please what do you want, do you want from me, do you want my purse

Cruz: (laughing) oh look at that the little women is trying to barge us

Gang: (laughing)

Cruz: what we want is that camera

They point at her camera hanging around her neck, she held it close and she backed to a wall.

Cruz: so what you say baby

Rachael: somebody HELP ME (screams)

Gang: (laughing)

I saw them all moved in on closer to her with weapons. One had a bat, the other a brass knuckles, the bearded motorcycle a knife, leather jacket biker a crowbar, the leather vest a half broken bottle.

Cruz: we're going to do a nice number on you

Rachael: (SCREAMS)

Doctor midnight: not on my watch you don't

Before they could do anything to her, I threw out one of my smoke bombs in front of Rachael, when the purple smoke came out, the group of thugs backed away and I got in front of her.

Gang: (coughing)

Cruz: (grunts) what the hell

When the smoke cleared, they all saw me standing in front of her.

Doctor midnight: gentlemen let's show a little kindness for the lady

Cruz: ugh, stay out of this bub and you won't get hurt

He throws his chain at us, but I used my arm to block it and as it wraps around me, he looks at me confused.

Cruz: Huh

Doctor midnight: i have the diagnosis for you, whatever I'm going to do to you is going to hurt a lot

I pulled hard on the chain

Cruz: AH

and pull him towards me and punch him hard in the face.

Cruz: UGH

he flew into two trash cans. The others looked back at me and came to attack.

Gang: AH

I crack my knuckles

Doctor midnight: the doc is in

The bearded biker ran towards me with a knife.

Davin: AH

he swing his knife at me, I ducked and grabbed his arm and pulled it back.

Davin: AH

the two other bikers ran towards me and I used him as a human shield to push them back.

Ronaldo/shepley: (groaning)

the one with the crowbar came out me, I threw the biker at him.

Brennen/davin: AH

The two other thugs came in both directions to attack me, I jumped up and they both end up bonking their heads

Lucas/ailen: AH

He looked up and I came back down and kicked them down.

Lucas/ailen: ugh

Then the two bikers came at him, one behind me and the other in front, as they both try to catch me, I ducked and they end up hitting each other.

Cruz: ugh, UGH

the leader saw me beating up his gang, grabbed his chain and ran towards behind me while I was distracted.

Cruz: (grunts)

I heard him running towards me and as soon as he threw his chain, I jumped and it wrapped around his legs and he fell down. The one with threaded locks got back up and was getting angry, he pulled out a Swiss knife and ran towards me.

Lucas: AH

I turned around, he pounced on me but I grabbed him and spin him around and made him kick the others down and threw towards a wall, tge one with the white men sleeveless t-shirt ran towards Me and Rachael with a bat

Ailen: (YELLING)

Rachael: (gasp)

I turned around moved out of the way and tripped his foot.

Ailen: (groaning)

He fell backwards as I pulled Rachael closer to me.

Rachael: (gasp)

The leather vest I threw him across the street and he hit a wall.

Thud

Brennen: (groaning)

The biker with the beard picked up a bottle and ran towards me.

Davin: (grunts)

I saw a trash can lid, picked it up and smacked it on his gut and he collapsed on the ground and threw the bottle in the air.

Thud

Davin: ugh

The leather jacket came at me and I caught the bottle and smashed it on his head.

Shepley: AH

he fell back and the leather vest grabbed on my back.

Brennen: AH

I then tried to get him off by hitting him against the wall.

Brennen: ugh

It only made him weaker, I then pulled him off and threw on the others

Brennen: ugh

They all looked up at me, I put my knuckles together.

(Knuckles cracking)

Gang: huh

Doctor midnight: you fellas ready for round two

Gang: (screaming) AH

They all ran away and the leader got back up, he saw me as bad saw that his gang was gone, picked up the crowbar and hit himself with it.

I walked up towards him, grabbed his shirt and pull him towards my face.

Doctor midnight: and don't have catch you assaulting this girl again ya hear

He nod his head and ran away as soon as I let go.

Cruz: AH

I looked back at Rachael who was happy to see me, ran towards me and hugged my chest.

Rachael: (sigh)

I was stumped for a minute then hugged her back. She then let go and looked up at me.

Rachael: thank you

I tipped my hat and grabbed her shoulders.

Rachael: how is it that whenever I'm in trouble you attend to find me

Doctor midnight: luck and speaking of which what the heck are you doing in a place like this, don't you know how dangerous this area is

Rachael: I'm sorry but I was looking for a story, I saw the badger coming through here so I followed him

Doctor midnight: what the badger is here

Rachael: yeah he escape a week ago I'm surprised you didn't know

I looked out into the city.

Doctor midnight: until now I did

We got out of the dangerous area

Doctor midnight: ok Rachel where was the last seen you saw him

Rachael: hmm, he went in there

I saw her point at the science museum center

We walked towards the building, the building was closed on Monday and since today was Monday it would be the perfect opportunity to break in and streak something, I pulled out my gun and looked back at Rachael.

Doctor midnight: you better get out of here Rachael, this area is too dangerous best to let me handle this

Doctor midnight: don't worry I'll sent you lots of pictures (chuckles)

I shot my grabbing hook up, reached for the top and went in through the air vent draft.

But Rachael wouldn't quit. She looks at the back door and saw it open that was probably messed by the badger.

As I went through the air vents, I came through the other side and ran inside, I had to move stealth cause I didn't wanted to dr. Heinrich to know I was catching up to him and i wanted to catch him on time.

I standing on top of a skeleton head of a Tyrannosaurus rex when I saw him going inside the chemical room.

Doctor midnight: hmm

I jumped down

I hid behind the leg part of the Tyrannosaurus rex bone and when he sneaked back out carrying a box of chemicals and equipments.

As ran quietly after him, a little rodent, a mouse If you will, came out of a little hole in the wall and followed me.

I threw out a bola net at badger's legs, he fell and dropped the box.

The badger: ugh

He looks back to see me jumping down.

Doctor midnight: aren't you a bit early to be working on a experiment

The badger: Vell vell if it isn't dr. Midnight vat ein vonterful zurbrize

He pulls out his claw and cuts the net loose, he then gets up.

Doctor midnight: I think it's time for your daily doses of butt-kicking

The badger: It's lights out for vu dr. Arh ! night, uhm

Doctor midnight: that doesn't make sense genius

he pounced on on my back and was biting me.

The badger/Doctor midnight: UGH

I tried to pull him off but he was to strong, I was so busy trying to pull him off, I didn't see the bottle of mercy rolling out of the box as I kicked the box.

Doctor midnight: (grunts)

The badger: ugh

The mouse crawled over to it and touched the bottom.

Mouse: (squeak) (squeak)

He then moved out of the way when he saw my foot coming down and breaking the bottle,

Looked down on the mercy that has spilled on the floor. I looked up at the badger who was giving me a headlock.

Doctor midnight: (grunts) ok badger what is exactly are you planning

The badger: Zee Himbozible dr. Midnight, I am trying to reanimated ein dead bozum I found in zee trasch can und once I pring him pack to life I vill uze him create ein hyprids army of padger-bozums hyprids

He pins me down on the ground next to the spilled mercury, he picks up the broken bottle and tries to cut me open.

Badger: Put first I schall deal vith vu first (evil crackles)

As he raises it up to my neck and when he brings it down, I used both my hands to stop the bottle and push it back. Next to me the mouse was drinking the mercury.

Doctor midnight/badger: ugh, eh

I try to pull the bottle away but despite his super badger strength, we were both struggling over it, until just my luck, Rachael came out of nowhere. And whacked in the back of his head with a wooden stick that she took from the caveman exhibit.

Thud

Badger: OH

He collapsed on the floor and got up, looking up at Rachael.

Doctor midnight: thanks

Rachael: I felt like I owe you for all the rescues you did for me and maybe next you think two before keeping away from my story

Doctor midnight: and yet you didn't listen to me

Rachael: and yet look where it got you

We looked back at the badger only to find him gone.

Rachael/Doctor midnight: (gasp)

Badger: (evil laughing)

We looked up to see him hanging on the ceiling, he pulls out a small bomb for his own creation.

Badger: Zis isn't offer yet dr. Arh ! Midnight

He pulls out a pin out of small grenade and threw it down at us.

Rachael: (gasp)

I pulled her close to me, took my coat off and covered us from the boom.

Kaboom

But it turns out to be just a smoke bomb, as the smoke cleared.

Rachael: (gasp)

We looked up and saw him gone, I let her go.

Rachael: well so much for my story

I looked down and saw the dead mouse in the puddle of mercury and picked it up.

Doctor midnight: I got a story for you

She turns and sees me holding the dead mouse by its tail.

Doctor midnight: the rodent problem this place has

Rachael: oh hardy-har

Doctor midnight: (laughing)

I threw the rat back and wrapped by arms around her and we walked out.

Doctor midnight: come on, let's get you out of here

Rachael: but what about the badger

Doctor midnight: don't worry I'll get him soon by the end of the day, we just need to get you home

As we walked out through the back door where she and the badger came out from, behind us.

The dead mouse started to twitch and began to move.

(Bones cracking)

Mouse: (squealing)

Something strange started to glow in its veins thoughts entire body as it slowly got Up, it's teeth became sharp, it started to lose its furs and one thing  lead to another, it became rabid.

Mouse: (hiss)

It's eyes were red and it ran outside it the city, where he heard a St. Bernards barking, it slowly crawled it's way to it and as the St. Bernards continued to bark at it.

Dog: (barking)

As soon as the dogs got its nose close to it, the mouse  jumped up and bit, it's nose.

Mouse: (high pitched squeaks)

Dog: (whining)

It backed far from the mouse and ran away but the bite from that rabid mouse, started to change him, As the dog walked away. It started to change, he walked towards a water fountain and died.

For a minute.

He began to twitch like the mouse did and his eyes changed.

Dog: (growl)

Four hours later- the time was 10:30 and I was in my  office working on some paperwork and after staying up until 1am and waking up at 7, I been feeling pretty tired as a hero, I nearly feel asleep when chief bobby came in, knocking on my door.

Knock, knock, knock

John: (GASP)

It woke me straight up

John: chief bobby, sir

Chief Bobby: John I think you should get some sleep

John: oh sir I couldn't

Chief bobby: oh please after what you done for New Jersey it's the least what this city can do for you

I was going to hesitate again when Harvey's head popped out.

Harvey: he's right John, it would be good for you, besides it would be good for you

John: (sigh) ok...after lunch

Chief bobby: after lunch

The two walked out of my office and continued my paperwork, back in the park of Greenville New Jersey, the animals began to turn, one by one biting another harmless animals into vicious rampaging zombies, a skunk attacked a deer, then two more dogs attacked a squirrel.

(Growl, snarls, hiss)

The zombie mouse that started it all was standing on top of the St. Bernard dog that was the first to be biten alerted the others to go to the police department.

Back at the police department, me and Harvey were leaving my office for lunch.

Harvey: so what do you feel like having for lunch, burgers, pizza, tacos, seafood, Chinese, Mexican, Greek I'm buying

John: oh I don't know John

Harvey: ok how about burgers

John: I mean about sleeping, I can't sleep without knowing that the badger is out there planing who knows what

Harvey: are you listening to yourself, that's dr. Midnight talking

John: listen to me Harvey when I was fighting him in the science center, he told me that he was planning something big, like we was going to create army of some sort new hybrids

Harvey: well dr. Midnight (wink) can deal with that later until then John hunters need some good and rest

John: (sigh) ok

They slams his hand on my chest and wraps his arm around my neck and pull me closer.

John: alright

As we went into the waiting lounge, we heard a scream.

(Screaming)

Harvey/John: huh

We ran in to see that all the police department, everyone was in a panic and rushed over to some inmate that was brought in and being attacked.

Harvey: whoa what happened

Officer terry walked up to us

Officer Terry: officer duke and Rick brought in a bank robber when a rabid skunk attacked him, it's on his leg

Officer jones: AH

Another officer was running in a panic while being attacked by a rabid squirrel on his back

Officer terry: and we're being invaded by rabid animals

John: ok don't panic, officer terry you go get as much help as you can to help get rid of the rabid animal attacks

Officer terry: yes sir

John: Harvey you go sent out an amber alert or go warn the down that we're on lockdown mode until I can find a way to stop this

Harvey: ok-ok

He rushes outside to one of the police car as I went to go change to Doctor midnight.

But when he went outside, he saw out the streets were filled with zombie animals chasing people.

Harvey: AH

he quickly got in and shot some animals off that attacked any citizens near by and spoke through the siren.

Harvey: attention citizens of New Jersey, due to recent outbreaks of rabid animal attacks, we ask you to return to your homes and remain indoors until we can handle this situation, I repeat please remain indoors until this situation is handled

Bang, bang, bang

Once everyone in the city has evacuated in there homes, Harvey and I (Doctor midnight) had to get the entire police force to lead the zombie animals away from the citizens and followed us to a grocery store.

Time-1:30pm When we all went inside the grocery store we blocked the doors mainly caused there were still civilians inside the store, we were stocked with guns and had to barricade the front gates using heavy dog foods and got behind the cashier and their guns up when the animals broke the glass and try to break in.

(Growl)

Everyone: (screams)

Bang, bang, bang

I told Harvey to meet me in the back.

Harvey: we got more reports that bizarre small animal attacks are coming in at downtown

Doctor midnight: Rachael works in downtown, I'm going to go get her

Harvey: ok and maybe you can find out where they came from and if there's a way to stop them

Doctor midnight: ok I always will, just stall them until I can think of something

I came through the back door, shot out my grabbing hook and swinging from building to building, Harvey watched me leave.

Harvey: good luck John

Then shuts the door and goes to the front, as for me I went to the daily worm newsletter, where I see Rachael working late, apparently she didn't get the memo or warning.

I saw her standing in her office doing some paperwork, I saw a window open next to a office room next to hers, I went through closed the window and ran to her door.

Doctor midnight: Rachael , thank God!

I closed the door behind me, locked it, ran and hugged her tightly.

Rachael: What's going on?

I let her go.

Doctor midnight: didn't you get my warning

Rachael: what warning

Doctor midnight: It's the animals, there's something wrong with them

Rachael: somethings wrong with them, What do you mean?

I walked over to the window and closed the blinds

Rachael: Doctor midnight what's wrong

Doctor midnight: they became rabid

Rachael: rabid

Doctor midnight: and it's much worse then that

Rachael: What happened?

Doctor midnight: there was an animal attack at the police department

She runs towards me and grabs my shoulders.

Rachael: But this doesn't make any sense.

I turned around to face her

Doctor midnight: animals becoming the walking dead? No, it does not make any sense. Unless the badger is behind it.

We then heard a noise.

Doctor midnight: Stand back, Rachael!

I kicked her desk towards the door, blocking it, Rachael started to panic.

Rachael: (gasp)

I walked up to her, grabbed her arms and pulled her to my face

Doctor midnight/Rachael: (gasp)

we saw a zombie bear clawing his way through the door

Doctor midnight: it's Snow White's forest friends risen from the dead!

he then tried to push bite the door open. I looked back at Rachael as she held on closer to me.

Doctor midnight: we need to get you out of here

I opened up her window, picked her up.

Doctor midnight: hang on tight

She held on tight to me, I shot out my grabbing hook and I swung us out in time. She wrapped her arms around my neck tightly and buried her face in my chest.

We landed on top of a building, I pulled out my binoculars and looked at the city infested with zombie animals. Rachael looked around and high herself.

Rachael: so what's the plan

Doctor midnight: I make a quick pit stop first

Rachael: ok

I pulled out my car keys and called out my car, we jumped in and headed to my place.

I drove through the army of zombie animals, a zombie deer hit the windshields.

Doctor midnight: ugh

Rachael: (screaming)

Zombie Deer: (moaning)

I stopped and it slipped off and fell on the ground and I ran over it.

Vroom, crack, smush, splat

Rachael: ugh

The sound of me running over it, made Rachael look sick, I saw her hand shaking in fear, I place my hand on top of hers. She looks up at me and smiles.

As we made it to my apartment, we went inside. I burst through the doors, holding my gun out. We saw how a mess my place was.

Rachael: what are we doing here

Doctor midnight: I'm looking for my cat, LUCKY

I looked around looking for him.

Doctor midnight: LUCKY

Lucky: (meow)

Rachael saw him crawling out form underneath the coach.

Doctor midnight: oh there you are

He walks up to Rachael and curled around her leg, she picks him up.

Rachael: nice kitty

I walk up and pet his head

Doctor midnight: come on lucky I need you to help me with something

We walked downstairs back to the car.

Rachael: are you sure it's a good idea to bring you cat along

Doctor midnight: don't worry lucky is the luckiest cat in the world and yes a good fighter, WHOA

We saw Zombies Deer, badger, squirrel, hedgehog, raccoon, beaver, fox, bear, coyote, hare, eagle, rat, and snakes destroying my car.

Doctor midnight: and I just had it fixed

Rachael: (whimpering)

Rachael held lucky closer to her as the wild animals walked towards us.

Animals: (growl) (snarling) (yowl) (hiss) (caw)

I pushes Rachael back behind me and pulled out my leather whip.

Doctor midnight: YA, YA, YA

I whipped at the zombie bear back.

Zombie bear: (ROAR)

He slashed his claw at me, cutting my arm.

Doctor midnight: AH!

I grabbed my arm, dropped my leather whip and saw three bloody claw marks.

Doctor midnight: ugh

As we were almost toast, lucky ran out of Rachael's arms.

Rachael: (gasp)

Doctor midnight: lucky!!

He pounced on the bear that was going to attack him and bite his arm.

Lucky: (YOWL)

Zombie bear: (ROAR)

He then pounced down and ran making the others followed him.

Doctor midnight: LUCKY NO!!

I watched him ran away, Rachael grabbed my shoulder.

Rachael: John it's going to be okay, we can fox this

I looked back at her

Rachael: for lucky

Doctor midnight: for lucky

I touched her hands and got up.

Doctor midnight: now we need to get all their attention and follow us

I look around and see a motorcycle.

Doctor midnight: and I just know how

Back by at the grocery store, the police force was running out of bullets.

Zombie animals: (moaning)

Harvey: come on we just need to stall them a little longer

Officer terry: but we're almost out of almo sir

Harvey: we'll do whatever we can to help Doctor midnight, whatever it takes

They animals turned to see me and Rachael riding on a motorcycle.

Doctor midnight: hey uglies over here

We drove off and they followed.

Zombie animals: (moaning)

Harvey looked outside and was glad to see me.

Cops: (cheering)

Harvey: way to go John, (sigh) good luck

We made sure every zombie animal was following us, I looked back up and freaked out when I saw a bear in the middle of the woods.

Doctor midnight/Rachael: (gasp)

I saw a board, drove over it.

Rachael: AH

Rachael held tighter to my chest, as I grabbed her, jumped off the motorcycle, pulled out my grabbing hook, aimed it at a lamppost, swung us around and we both rolled on the ground.

Doctor midnight: ugh

Rachael: ah

I quickly got up and saw the motorcycle crashing into another bear and helped Rachael up.

Doctor midnight: come on Rachael we got to go, I might have a plan

Which brings us back to here.

he backed away for now and we ran farther in the old chemical factory to find an chemistry set that looks like it was been used.

Rachael: whoa

Doctor midnight: looks like someone's been here

We walked downstairs and we heard someone shaking.

Badger: (whimpering)

We looked around and we saw the badger hiding underneath a table cloth, shaking in fear.

He was once glad to see him.

Badger: Oh dr. Arh ! Midnight Am I glad to zee vu for once

He hugs my leg.

Doctor midnight: oh-ok!!!

He then lets go and paces around in panicked

Badger: It pecame out of control I didn't vant zis to haben

Doctor midnight: did you have something to do with this

Badger: Vell zort of, I vas vorking on mein chemical to ein rize zee dead put I vas mizing one key mercury put ven vu tried to zoil mein blans I mixed mercury vith ein blutonium und ven zee pottle proke ein mouze drink it und zoon zee firus pekan to sbread und ven I tried to control zem zey tried to eat me I hide in hear zo zey vouldn't atdack me und now I fear it might pe too late kot ein cure

Zombie animals: (moaning)

Badger: AH!!

They zombie animals broke the glass and tries to break in, I looked over at the frightened badger and picked him up to my face.

Doctor midnight: look you created this virus, you can stop it, I'll distract them while you make a cure

Badger: DON'T VU GET IT ZERE IS NEIN CURE VE'RE ALL GONNA DIE, AH!!!!

I let him go and saw a bear breaking the glass down and walking towards Rachael. I grabbed her arm and threw smoke pellets at him. Then all the animals came in, as they surround us, me and Rachael backed up to a wall as the badger joined us.

Rachael picked up a stick as CD a deer tried to bite us.

Deer: (growl) (chomp, chomp)

Rachael: ugh, ah

I thought this was going to be the end of us. As the deer bit down on the stick, Rachael tries to pull it back but the deer pulls it a away and bites it into two. As She grabs on to me, I bump into something.

Thud

Doctor midnight: ooh!

I looked up and saw fire sprinklers system

Doctor midnight: (gasp)

I pull out a quick ice and explosive pellet.

Rachael: Doctor midnight if this is the end, there's something I should tell you

Doctor midnight: let's wait until I get us out of here

I threw the explosive pellet first at the water sprinklers.

Kaboom

The explosion was enough to start the water works.

Ring!!!

I covered me and Rachael underneath my coat and as the water sprinklers rained down on the zombies.

Zombie Animals: (moaning)

Doctor midnight: well I felt like I owe you for the rescue from this morning

She smiles at me but I wanted to know what she was going to tell me before I saved us.

Doctor midnight: did what us that you wanted to tell me

Rachael: oh it's nothing really

Rachael: I was scared and I thought we were going die so forget it

She crosses her arms and turns around from me. I then grabbed her shoulders and turned her towards me.

Doctor midnight: (softly) Rachael

She looked deep in my eyes and gave in.

Rachael: (sigh) ok, when you first saved me from professor polar, I-I liked you

But before I could say anything else, she touched you hand.

Rachael: more than a fan girl love a hero, I.....was...in love with you

I was a bit shocked but already knew that she would like me. I grabbed her shoulders and pull her in for a kiss.

Doctor midnight/Rachael: mmm

It went like that for a minute then I let go. We stared at each other's eyes. Then we got up.

Doctor midnight: would you like me to walk you home

Rachael: it's ok, I'll be fine

I pulled out my grabbing hook and shot it at a building and picked up lucky.

Doctor midnight: are you sure

She looks at the city then back at me.

Rachael: promise

Doctor midnight: ok, say goodbye lucky

She walks over, bends down to him and pets his head.

He licks her face. And we took off, Rachael watches me leave and walks away from the old chemical factory.

ST. Bernard: (whimpers)

Not before passing by a ST. Bernard, he tilts his head up at Rachael, he looks at her, giving her sad puppy eyes. She looks away and walks off.

ST. Bernard: (whining)

The ST. Bernard began to cry and put its head out. Rachel stopped and looked back at the dog.

The big ST. Bernard walks next to Rachael, she lets him and they walk to her apartment.
