Snuffle: It's a common viral infection of the nose and throat. Also simply known as a cold.

In contrast to the flu, a common cold can be caused by many different types of viruses. The condition is usually harmless and symptoms usually resolve within two weeks. Here is how it spreads:
By airborne respiratory droplets (coughs or sneezes).

By touching a contaminated surface (blanket or doorknob).

By saliva (kissing or shared drinks).

By skin-to-skin contact (handshakes or hugs).

Usually self-diagnosable.

Symptoms include a runny nose, sneezing, and congestion. High fever or severe symptoms are reasons to see a doctor, especially in children.

Treatment consists of anti-inflammatories and decongestants.

Most people recover on their own within two weeks. Over-the-counter products and home remedies can help control symptoms.

Medication:

Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug.

Relieves pain, decreases inflammation, and reduces fever.

Analgesic

Relieves pain.

Antihistamine

Reduces or stops an allergic reaction.

Cough medicine

Blocks the cough reflex. Some may thin and loosen mucus, making it easier to clear from the airways.

Decongestant

Relieves nasal congestion, swelling, and runny nose.

Snuffle: There are ways to keep from getting sick from others  and that is to either stay away when you are sick and don't get others infected with it or cover your cough in your elbow or in a tissue and wash your hands after coughing and sneezing. And also try a disinfectant spray or wipes on surfaces that have been contaminated. Lysol is highly suggested. Also if you have to be around people when you're sick or them, wear a mask so that you or they don't breathe in your or their germs.
