Today is the day that we are going our separate ways. Bradley, Mickey, Reuben and I are going to Greece, Nat, Jake, Javy and Bob are going back to Lemoore, Lia is going to Japan and Val is staying in San Diego. I have dreaded this day since the mission ended, but now that it's here, Im glad for everything to be over. Bradley, Mickey, and Reuben are staying at my place till they can find their own place or something but Bradley is moving in. All of our stuff was currently on the way to my place, since we sent it out two days ago and now we're saying goodbye before we go catch our long flight.
"Promise that you'll call often enough?" Nat asked as she stood in front of me saying goodbye while the boys were saying goodbye to each other.
"Come on Nat, you know me better than that." I joked.
"Yeah I do know you better, I also know that you don't want to disappoint me or make me sad and so you'll call maybe once or twice a month and that's perfectly fine with me." Nat said and I hummed in agreement.
"I'm so glad that we were called back together. It brought back some memories of being with everyone." I said.
"It did, there were times where I was pretty sure I was going to kill you for being such a dumbass and not staying careful 24/7 but then I realized that this is who you are and you got it from Mom's side of the family." Nat said and I rolled my eyes. The boys came over just as Nat gave me another hug.
"I love you." Nat said.
"I love you too." I said and she smiled. I said bye to Jake, Javy and Bob and I'm pretty sure Jake was going to cry.
"Is Jake Seresin about to cry or am I seeing things?" I teased Jake.
"Your seeing things. I'm not crying, just can't believe how quickly you grew up." Jake said and I rolled my eyes.
"Im 32 J, almost 33. When are you gonna let it go?" I asked.
"Never." He said and I smiled.
"Look out for my sister please." I told him.
"Im sure she will be fine but I will, she'll be just fine with Bob, Javy and I." Jake said and I shook my head while smiling.
"Love you." I said and Jake reciprocated the gesture. That happened with Javy and Bob before the rest of us could leave.
Hopefully we can see each other soon enough but you never know what could happen.
