I shook as Vegeta took a step in front of me. "Don't come any closer!" He shouted, the male stopped. "Who are you?" His voice was almost robotic, "I'm Vegeta. This is Y/n," He gestured to me. His orange Mohawk shifted as he looked down, "why dont you want me to let the doctor out?" I slightly pushed Vegeta aside. "He transformed you into what he called an Android. He also turned the ones called 17 and 18 into one too." He blinked, not saying anything. "I lost my family," He whispered, I walked up to him. "What are you doing Y/n?" Vegeta shouted, keeping his guard up. I waved my hand, having 16 follow me to the book. He leaned over me as he looked where I pointed, he seemed to understand. "So, how do we let them out?" He flipped through the book, Vegeta pushed him back. "You're too close to her! Stay back!" Vegeta barked as 16 looked lost. "Awe, is someone jealous?" Vegeta just huffed and crossed his arms. "Is he your boyfriend?" 16 asked and Vegeta quickly answered. "Yes I am, don't try anything on her!" We found the directions on how to release the pods, me and 16 walked over to the pods. Vegeta stood back, watching everything. We did what the directions said, the pod doors opened. The male and female eyes we're still closed, I was pretty sure they were dead. 16 frowned, "are they alive?" I poked the one with black hair, his face was cold. "I don't think so." I felt the females face, hers was also cold. They felt like ice to my hands, I felt for a pulse. Nothing. "How did you survive?" He refered to the book, "16 was changed almost entirely to an Android. The only thing human about him is his skin." He then flipped to 17 and 18. "The twins are mostly human, only have robot muscles and reproductive organs." 16 then looked at me, "he left their heart and brain in, meaning they needed air. The doctor did this experiment over 20 years ago. They've been long gone, the tube was just preserving their body the way he left it." I felt bad, the two teens had met their end in the tubes. 16 followed us upstairs after we reshut the tubes. He looked around as we walked to my room. "The doctor left this place is such a nice condition. Time has definitely done it's damage to it." He then grabbed my shoulder, stopping me in my tracks. "How about I help you fix this, I want to join you guys." A smile came to his face, "I think that could work." I told him, Vegeta scoffed. "As long as I can sleep in your room, I'll let him stay." Vegeta spoke, not looking at us. I shrugged, "16, that means you can have Vegeta's old room." He nodded as I took him to his new room. Vegeta went to my room, 16 laid on his new bed. "My room is down the hall if you need anything." He nodded, then spoke to me as I shut the door. "Thank you Y/n."
