The two stood there dumbfounded, was Arceus playing with them? Maybe not, after all he is the God of all Pokemon and him making jokes was kinda a miracle to be honest. Even the author thinks that may be the case. Serena looked quite calm while Ash was trying to be calm, he knew he had aura powers yet he was still surprised. 

He glances at the honey haired girl who was actually taking this in quite easily while on the other hand here he was panicking for no reason. 

"Why do you call us Arceus?" His eyes widened, did Serena knew that this would happen?! But, she was so innocent awhile ago! Wait, was she behind this? Questions kept on popping in his mind, and as more questions popped in the more Serena looked more suspiscious in his eyes. Who is this girl? Other than the Serena he knew, who is this person stading infront of him?

"You are quite calm after what just happened, but I cannot judge you after what happened..." Ash glances at the two and thought "are they hiding something from me?" As if she heard which is possible his thoughts, she looks at him with a emotionless expression. "I am a pychic user while you are an aura gaurdian, I knew this would have come ever since we have met. A psychic and an aura user, once they meet they will be tested. Whether or not they can believe in each other, and this is a test of hope" she explains, Ash was again dumbfounded. 

"You knew the whole time?! Why didn't you tell me?!" He asks, she glances back at Arceus and again as if he knew what she was trying to say and said "It's best if you don't know about it yet chosen one, right now you have a bigger problem to face together" Serena who by now was looking away from the boy bit her lower lip amd tried her best not to tremble.

'It's best if you don't know about it...please..please don't ask about it ever again' a tear escaped from her eye, but she refused to show weakness at the moment.

"Ash and Serena, I need your help. You are the only ones who can do this, and it includes for you two to commit suicide" The two teens eyes widened, but Serena quickly showed a serious look at the mythical Pokemon.

"What do you mean by that?" She asks rather calmly making Ash look at her in shock, was this really the Serena he knew?

"I mean the one they know as Serena and Ash, I want them dead and be reborn as my heroes known as Xavier and Yvonne" Arceus explained, Ash bows his head hiding the fact that he was afraid. This was backwards wasn't it? It was usually Serena who would be scared to bits, but now it was rather the opposite. Serena showed no emotion while Ash was showing every negative emotion he has. 

"Ash, I know it's hard. But, I think it's for the best. They all hate us, and if they heard about us dead the world would be at peace" Serena said, but inside she was crying. Hurting to be exact, she felt dead and devastated. Being reborn as someone who is still her but with a new name is entirely different.

It was...like they will disappear from existence.

"But Serena.." Serena walks up to Ash and places her hand on his shoulder with an assuring smile. Her eyes showed determination, but in her heart showed sadness.

"Let's show everyone that we are not dead by giving them hope if they need someone to be there for them" she smiles, Ash felt his heart melted from how warm her smile is even at a moment like this. She can still make people smile.

"Serena..."

"Ash, I don't want to do this and that's the truth. But, Arceus needs us! You should be telling me that not the other way around" She pouts jokingly, Ash chuckled from her sudden change of mood.

The only thing she had to do was smile to make him feel at ease and she knew that.

"So Ash, will you join her to change this world?" Arceus asks, Ash glances back at Serena who looked at him waiting for an answer patiently. He clenched his fist and showed a determined look.

"Yes, let me become your Aura"

"And let me become your Psychic"

The two glances at each other and together they looked at the God of Pokémon with eyes of hope and full on determination.

"Let's bring hope to the world!"

And thus, the two was now dead.

And the whole region heard about it and rejoiced on the news, but little do they know.

That they are reborn as..
