"Ji?" DD sat on his seat as avni extended her complaint letter. Neil was standing besides avni having no clue as whom avni has suspected.

"I want you to take the action as soon as possible DD" avni replied with stern face while Neil took the charge from DD to see the suspect.

"Avni?!" Neil gasped seeing the suspect's name. "Mithali is a police officer" he added equally surprised with avni's decision. She turned towards Neil calmly and took a deep breathe before speaking.

"If you believe your fiancé then go ahead arranging lawyer for defending the case. I have a strong suspect on her." Avni sighed with a hopeless reaction seeing Neil frowning for her response. She turned back to DD ignoring Neil.

"Avni you can't take decision without any evidence" Neil tried hard to console himself to think that avni is wrong. That didn't change the stern mind of avni.

"What else you need Neil. My son is been brutally assaulted. You saw the way he was scared when you stepped near him. That was because he was afraid of mithali's words; she might have blackmailed him not to mention about this to you. And earlier it was you who said that Neav has started to address mithali as his mother. How much more clearance you need. Neav is been tortured by mithali to adopt the life which she is trying to make with you. She wants Neav to accept her as his mother when you marry her. She wants to throw me away from neav's life after marrying you. You might be a blind to not accept it. But I am not." Avni was almost shouting that DD rose from his place. With a thud Neil sat on the chair as the reality hit him.

Avni is right at all means. We have none left to suspect except mithali. And avni has every valid point to accuse her. Neil rubbed his stubble furiously as every words of avni started to hit him hard.

It was his stubborn mind who made this blunder of proposing mithali to take out his vengeance for avni tweaking their nuptial chain. He lifted his head to meet the furious avni's gaze. She is still in the same place. But the only difference is her eyes showed some emotions.

"Don't blame yourself neil! We have a real enemy out there to face." Avni's eyes softened as she met his guilty and hurt one. She stepped closer to him pressing his arm while Neil in turn pulled her waist for a soul kissing hug. His grip was tighter and his eyes were drenching her skin penetrating her clothes. He buried his face in her belly due to the threatening shame while avni rubbed his hairs as she pressed her lips together controlling her tears. "It's ok" she consoled rubbing his back letting Neil throw up his emotion for the first time of the hectic day.

It was almost midnight when avneil entered back to khanna mansion after completing the case on mithali. She is behind bars now as she accepted her mistakes. The case will soon get some judgment but all avni needed was to head to Neav and be beside him. Neil drove them back to khanna mansion without any exchange of words.

"Maa" Neav hugged Avni immediately as she sat beside him in the bed. Swetha and Bebe were in tears seeing neav's condition while Neil was on the door steps silently watching the emotional breakdown.

"Neav" avni raised his face which was buried within her hugging her tightly. "You don't need to cry. You were a strong boy through." Avni tried to bring back the tiger mogwli while Neav was stiffing his tears.

"I am sorry papa. I didn't say to you" Neav turned towards Neil who was standing on the door step. That was all it took for Neil to move swiftly towards his son and bring him into a bone crushing hug.

Words fall off when emotions envy your thoughts. You have nothing to say when you get so many to experience. Guilt, broken, pain, angry, fear and what not they felt altogether. Their little one has suffered so much and they weren't able to stop that. Neil felt as the most helpless man in the world.

"Mera tiger" Neil hugged him more tightly while avni wiped away neav's tears which were flowing on his chubby cheeks. She pressed a forehead kiss as she holded his shoulders which was sticking to Neil. The whole family was heart wrenched with the emotional collapse of their children.
