Uuuuh.

So.

I was practicing ear positions.

At 1:00 A.M.

And My brain decided "HEY LET'S MAKE A WEIRD TRIBE!!!"

So now I have this:

I'm weirdly proud of those eyes.

Tribe Name: Finwings

Appearance: Finwings have reeeeeeeeaaaaally long necks and fins/sails on both the tops of their necks and the bottoms. They're very flexible, and their faces and ears are very expressive. Along parts of their bodies, they have strange knot/wave designs, often in different or contrasting colors from the rest of their bodies.

Their scales are small and hard, like pebbles or diamonds. They're often in pale, almost iridescent colors such as lavender or a pale yellow-white. In contrast to their scales,  Finwing eyes are bold, with large pupils and dark or neon irises. Heterochromia is common in Finwings, resulting in different and contrasting colored eyes.

Finwing tails have tiny, almost invisible, translucent stingers like sea anemones. Rarely, these stingers also hide in the sails/fins and almost never under the claws or behind the teeth, which are shaped like shark teeth.

Color possibilities: Pale colors for the scales, ranging from the palest pink to a delicate ash gray. Eyes can only be bold or neon reds, greens, blues, or oranges.

Likes: Finwings have a natural tendency to be attracted to shiny things, much like magpies. Jewelry is extremely common, often in pale pearl colors to complement their scales. They like salty foods, so they mostly eat seafood or salted meat.

Dislikes: Finwings hate sweet foods or bland dragons. Nightwings are held low in their expectations, simply because of the dim colors and bleak scales. On the the other hand, Rainwings and Silkwings are high because of the bright colors, and Seawings are especially loved.

They also dislike animals that dig underground, like moles, or slither, like snakes.

Abilities: Almost all Finwings have small anemone-like stingers on their tails and fins/sails, though some have them under their claws or behind the teeth. Any Finwing with stingers has three types of venom they can pump through the stingers:

Milky: A venom that attacks the nerves to blind or deafen a dragon

Clear: A venom that stuns or paralyses a dragon

Thick: A venom that can kill or severely injure a dragon

Weaknesses: Finwings are easily distracted and have short attention spans. They're slow flyers and are easily bribed.

Naming habits: Finwings are usually named after fish, but some eccentric dragons name their offspring after birds or deer.

Habitat: The coral reefs below the Rainforest Kingdom
