A sharp alarm rang, making me peel my eyes open before reaching over the nightstand and tapping any button on Yeonjun's phone just to get the alarm to be quiet.

"Ahhh" I heard Yeonju groan behind me as I heard him move around. I turned to face him in the darkness of our very empty and under furnished room as we layed in the bed we shared together. We still haven't had our place done. it was still empty. but with the presence of Yeonjun, he made it feel warm I wrapped an arm across his chest before pulling myself closer and laying my head against his chest feeling his warmth against my body

"Morning babe" Yeonjun greeted me with his deep raspy morning voice as he tilted my head upwards before placing his soft thick lips against mine. Without fail causing butterflies to travel through my stomach. I moved my lips against his returning his kiss, still with my eyes closed, threatening to go back to sleep and wanting to ditch work. but I knew neither of us can miss a day of work.

"Come on, we need to prepare breakfast" I said, with the basic equipments that we had we managed to cook egg omelette and potato pancake with cheese on top. we ate stand-in up on the counter. after a while we finished eating and went to go get ready. 

"There you go," I said as I finished tying Yeonjun's tie, who had his hand resting at my waist. I looked up at him to see him smiling at me causing a smile to appear on my face. He pulled me closer where our chest collided, without saying a word he pressed his lips against mine kissing me passionately making my knees give up. I wrapped my arms around his neck to support myself as I moved my lips against his, studying the details of his lips with mine.

Yeony ran his hand up my back sending sparkles at the trail he left before lacing his hands into my hair tucking it lightly making me moan softly as he took the opportunity to slip his tongue into my mouth filling my mouth with his minty scent. I moaned at his touch.

I wanted to push him away so he wouldn't ruin my makeup and hair that I spent the past twenty minutes doing but his touch and kisses didn't allow me to think of such a thing.

"Ah Yeonjun" I moaned as he nibbled on my sweet spot in my neck, that's when he pushed me on the soft bed, and grabbed each of my thighs and made me wrap my legs loosely on his hip. I pushed him away and looked into his eyes that was dark and full of lust

"We have to go to work" I said panting trying to get my vision to focus as it was blurred from Yeonjun's touch. I looked at the clock and it was fifteen minutes to five in the morning. which meant Yeonjun had to leave now for his two hour ride to the city

"Come on you have to go" I said siting up facing Yeonjun who was slightly pouting and he softly glared at me

"Twelve hours without you" he stated

"Twelve hours without you" I repeated, he groaned and titled his head backwards facing the ceiling. my eyes immediately fell on the rough skin on his neck, that defined the outline of his throat. I immediately felt my body heat up. I leaned upwards and placed my lips against his skin lightly kissing the side of his neck. I heard Yeonjun chuckle making me laugh.

he looked back down at me before pulling me into a long passionate kiss.

"I will call you during my lunch break" he said

"Jung Haru is still under our care and she is not safe until the criminal is behind bars. He is still on trial but we never know what strings he might pull in order to harm her. We do ask the staff to continue their hard work in supporting her, especially now that she is conscious." Doctor Park said as all the main doctors were attending this meeting.

Including Doctor Eunha, Doctor Beomgyu, Doctor Junghae, Miss Jeon, Doctor Kai, Doctor Taehyun, Nurse Dal Hee and me. Yeonjun went to the city early this morning, keeping his promise to his father to continue working in the City Hospital.

"We need to focus on her diet and try to figure out a way to communicate with her. Especially now that we know that she became deaf due to the seizure that she suffered." Doctor Park said

{Seizures are caused by rapid and uncoordinated electrical firing in the brain. This can cause temporary abnormalities in behaviours, movements (such as alternating stiffening and jerking of the arms and legs), sensations or a loss of consciousness or altered consciousness level}

"I did my research on which doctors on the field can help us, I found one who can focus on her diet. Her name is Park Jia and she is a Traditional Chinese Medicine food therapist. We can have her come in and focus on Miss Jung Haru and also be able to make meals for the other patients that we have. However I'm still trying to find a doctor that specialises with ear and hearing deficiency" Doctor Park siad and immediately I remember the conversation that I had with my dad

"I heard about a doctor named Choi Soobin," I said. "He is an otolaryngologist. He is deaf so I think it will be helpful for Miss Jung Haru, to have a doctor that went through the hardships of hearing deficiency"

{otolaryngologist: A doctor who has special training in diagnosing and treating diseases of the ear, nose, and throat.}

"That's great. Do you have his contact number?" Doctor Park asked

"No. But I can pull it through and see what I can do. But last I heard that he is currently studying his masters in Singapore" I said

"Singapore? Interesting. Probably National University of Singapore." Doctor Park said tilting his head "Its okay dont worry about it then I think I can pull him through"

"Okay, that sounds good," I said.

With that we all have been dismissed. I exited the meeting room and felt like someone was following me closely. I looked over my shoulder to see Miss Jeon looking at me with a playful smile on her lips

"What?" I said as I continued to walk

"Any news to share?" she said wiggling her eyebrows

"Not really" I said, still not getting what she is hinting at. She rolled her eyes at me

"The ring on your finger sweetheart" she said

"Oh" I said loudly, pausing in my place. "Guys I have some news" I said making the other doctors stop and look at me "I'm getting married in two weeks"

"Two weeks?" Miss Jeon gasped

"Omg" Doctor Beomgyu gasped

"Who is the lucky guy?" Miss Dal Hee asked

"Woah Congratulations" Doctor Taehyun said

"Congratulations!" Doctor Eunha said

"I'm so happy for you" Doctor Kai said

"Finally Yeonjun got his shit together" I heard Doctor Jeon Junghae mummer

"Is it him? Yeonjun guy? Is that him?" Miss Jeon asked eagerly and I nodded, making her squeal in excitement.

"It's about time sweetheart. I'm so happy for you" she said. Seeing her excitement made me happy

I never thought this day would come where I finally feel free and happy.

I felt my phone buzz in my white coat pocket. I pulled it out to see Yeonjun calling

"Excuse me" I said walking away from the staff before picking up the call

"Junie~" I answered the call

"Hey babe. How are things?" he asked

"All is good. I just had my meeting" I said

"Same here. Just got out of a boring meeting. I wanted to check up on you" he said, making the corner of my lips curve upwards. We talked for a few minutes before exchanging goodbye's and hanging up.

So far the wedding planning has been going smoothly. Miss Choi has been taking the back seat which I'm thankful for. Meanwhile our home is still being furnished, we currently just have the basics to get us from day to day. But we still have a long way to go. 

I'm excited to start this chapter of my life

it seems like I finally reached the light at the end of the tunnel. 

I turned around to walk towards the Emergency room but stopped in my tracks when I saw a small and fragile figure that was wearing the patient's clothing leaning weakly against the wall of the hallway struggling to walk, looking down at the floor making their long hair fall covering their face.

"Are you okay?" I asked rushing towards the patient and placed my hand on their shoulder, but when the patient raised their head, I made direct eye contact with a familiar pair of eyes. I felt my heart stop

No it's impossible
