Dragon Ball AF is a "Fan Manga" made by Toyble. Toyble is Toyotaro's pen name. (For those who don't know, Toyotaro is the legitimate successor of Dragon Ball.) 

Dragon Ball AF is a fan manga he wrote while in high school. From what I've gathered, there are only 4 volumes. After reading the first two chapters, I wanna give my opinion on this so far.

So, the manga opens up with the death of Frieza. Here, we see that when King Cold picked up Frieza's body, we learn who Frieza's mother is in this universe. The West Kaioshin, Lila. Yes, the same Kaioshin who was thought to be killed by Majin Buu. However, she survived and was saved by King Cold. In debt to Cold, she became Cold's wife and later gave birth to Frieza. 

Now, enraged at her son's defeat, she goes out to find Son Goku and extracts his DNA while he's sleeping on Yardrat. Then, she goes into hiding until a few years after the defeat of Omega Shenron. She returns to Earth in search of Goku to exact her revenge through her new son, Xicor. Half-Saiyan, Half-Kaioshin. 

Xicor and Lila run into Goten (Great Saiyaman 3) and curb-stomp him. This alerts all the other Saiyans on Earth. When Gohan arrives, he gets so enraged he immediately reverted to Super Saiyan 4. So does Vegeta.

They also get curb-stomped. Then East Kaioshin steps in and tries to seal Xicor into the Z-Sword (which he repaired), but failed. The second chapter ended with Gohan calling out for Goku to give him some of the power he gave Gohan in the Cell Games. 

Analysis:

So far, this series is very reminiscent of the Goku Black Saga with a Kaioshin looking to exact their revenge onto Goku via using something from Goku. It has me intrigued, but there are multiple questions I have so far that I hope are answered in the future. These questions include: How did Gohan learn Super Saiyan 4? How can Vegeta go Super Saiyan 4 without Blutz Waves? Where is Pan? How long after the end of GT is this set in? Lastly, why is Uub's superhero alterego name "Papayaman"? XD

As for the art. It's phenomenal! It truly feels like Toriyama drew it just like with the Super manga!

They were pretty good chapters, but there are way too many questions. Hopefully, they're answered and I recommend you read it. (You can find the entire manga on Facebook)
