As most of you know, tonight, there will not be a Dragon Ball Super episode airing as One Piece is having it's one-hour Luffy vs Sanji fight (I'm hyped for that!), and next week, there will not be a One Piece episode as Super will have it's one-hour Goku vs Jiren fight!

I wanted to make this post to give my predictions as to what's going to happen next week. The special is gonna start with Goku vs Ribrianne, but Goku will ring her out. Upon witnessing this, the God of Destruction of Universe 11, Vermouth, will telepathically order Jiren to "exterminate" Son Goku. 

Now, with this order, Jiren will go to Goku and their fight will begin. While Goku will be going balls-to-wall, 100% all out achieving Super Saiyan Blue Kaio-Kenx 20. Similar to his fight against Frieza. Then, when that fails, he will create a Spirit Bomb to attack Jiren. 

I know what some of you are thinking, "That's a plothole. The Spirit Bomb can't hurt a goodhearted person."

That's where you are wrong. When Vegeta dodged the spirit bomb back in the Saiyan Saga and it was heading straight for Gohan, Goku tells Gohan that he could REPEL it as long as he didn't have evil Ki. 

The definition of the word REPEL is "drive or force back or away". Not "ineffective". Plus, if good people truly were unaffected by the Spirit Bomb, then why would King Kai, the creator of the technique, get scared?

Basically, what I'm trying to say is that the spirit bomb would be more effective against those with Evil Ki than those with Good Ki. This could honestly set up for a good plot twist.

IF the spirit bomb does a ton of damage to Jiren, then it could reveal that the Pride Troopers and Universe 11 have some sort of sinister motive that could lead to the "terrible thing" to happen that allows Goku to unlock his new form. 

However, as cool as that would be, I think what's going to happen is Jiren will repel the spirit bomb back to Goku and Goku will use that moment to rush into the attack and absorb it. The amount of energy will be too much for his body and he will achieve a new form, but there will be some consequences. Since there's so much power being put into the Goku's body all at once, his body wouldn't have time to adapt and Goku will lose control during his fight against Jiren. This will lead to Goku losing the fight against Jiren, but he won't be rung out as Hit will step in while the others try to help Goku control this new power. 

That's how I think the special will end and we will have to wait for episode 111 to get a conclusion. 

111+ episodes!! That's almost twice as much as that godawful, yet sadly (technically) canon series that is Dragon Ball GT. (If you would like to know how GT is considered canon, read the previous post.)
