Most of you may or may not know by now, but Dragon Ball FighterZ will be adding a brand new android to the story. Android 21. She is a Toriyama original design, so that could already be hinting at a future arc. Here is a brief glimpse of what she looks like.

As of right now, all we know is that she has some relation to the Red Ribbon Army and Android 16. 

So, I theorize that in the future, we will get some sort of Android 21 arc where Dr. Gero's daughter (The younger sister of Android 16) has been planning her revenge since the death of Dr. Gero. Like with how Cell was created, she could've been using insect-sized robots to be analyzing the Z-Fighters every move since then. 

Then, once she's developed technology strong enough to handle fight against the God forms, she not only turns herself into an android but "resurrects" Android 16. After that, she'd probably attack a city or something to get the Z-Fighter's attention. Also, this arc can be set about two years after the end of Z (after Goku takes Uub) to officially make GT non-canon and to give a real sense of urgency cause Super really hasn't had much tension because we all know, subconsciously that everyone's gonna survive to the end of Z. If we move past the ending of Z, that tension comes back cause we have no idea what's gonna happen afterward.

Personally, I think an Android 21 Arc would be a good idea because we've never had a true female antagonist (Android 18 was, but she wasn't necessarily evil). Also because Dragon Ball (whether it be Ball, Z, GT, and, hopefully Super) usually has one arc involving the Red Ribbon Army. (The original Akatsuki; Naruto fans, please don't get triggered.)The actually Red Ribbon Saga, the Cell Saga, and Super Android 17 Saga.
