(Chapter begins with a grave that reads "Chi-Chi" on it with Goku standing over it; closes upon him, revealing his crying) 

Goku: (still crying) I'm sorry Chi-Chi... I couldn't do it... I couldn't protect you anymore... 

Voice off-panel: You were always such a selfish bastard... (Goku turns to see a much more sinister Chi-Chi)... I don't even know why I married you...

Goku: (shocked) No... (screams while crying)NO!! THIS ISN'T REAL!!! (shifts to Goku sitting up in bed in a cold sweat breathing heavily; looks to his side to see Chi-Chi asleep)

Chi-Chi: (still with her eyes closed) What's wrong, Goku?

Goku: (lays back down putting his hand on his forehead) Nothing... Just a bad dream... 

Chi-Chi: (rolls over and smiles at him) C'mon Goku... I know you better than anyone. You've fought countless being that could've destroyed the universe! What could you possibly be afraid of? 

Goku: (sighs) Chi-Chi... I haven't been completely honest with you... When I tell you I'm going to train -

Chi-Chi: (freaks out and sits up) HAVE YOU BEEN CHEATING ON ME!?

Goku: (pulls her down comically scared) Calm down Chi-Chi... (pulls her down, closer to him) I train to become the strongest... 

Chi-Chi: (scoots closer to him) I know, Goku, but why does this make you scared?

Goku: (begins to hold to her and tears up) I want to become the strongest because I don't want to lose what I have... I don't want to lose you... Gohan... Goten... Pan... Anybody... (cries) That's why I snap every time something wrong happens or could happen... (shows Krillin dying by both Frieza and Tambourine) When Krillin died... (shows Vegeta killing the spectators during the Buu Saga) When Vegeta killed all those innocent lives... (shows Grandpa Gohan) Grandpa Gohan... (shows Goku raging at Beerus, Goku Black, and Jiren) When everything I've ever loved is threatened... (hugs Chi-Chi while crying) I'M AFRAID TO LOSE EVERYTHING!! 

Chi-Chi: (wipes his tears) You're not gonna lose us, Goku... We'll always be here! (kisses his forehead) Trust me, okay?

Goku: (sighs and smiles at her) Thank you, Chi-Chi. (kisses her forehead) I love you so much!

Chi-Chi: (smiles and closes her eyes) I love you too, Goku... Thank you for opening up to me... (buries her head into his chest) Now let's sleep... (chapter ends with Goku and Chi-Chi sleeping while hugging)
