I should probably mention that this book is going to contain blood and violence, since the origins series always has some blood and violence. Not to mention that they're going to need to hunt to survive and stuff like that.

And just remember that they wear what they do in the series, when they're in human form.

Dragon's peak, or as many others call it, Paradise.

It's perfect for those that are hiding away from human society, as it is a very large island and has no human inhabitants, meaning no creature has to worry about being captured or killed.

It has a bunch of different areas such as tundras, savannas, mountains, and forests, meaning that there is a wide variety of creatures and plants, perfect for the majestic dragons that live on the island.

A herd of mammoths and making their way through one of the artic tundras and passing through a tunnel to get to their destination, unaware that they wandered somewhere that would lead at least one of them, to a painful death.

At one point, they found a large cavern with water and a few plants poking up from the ground, causing the mammoths to decide to take a break here. This was a fatal mistake.

As soon as all the mammoths had got themselves comfortable, an ice dragon dropped from the ceiling and landed on one of the mammoths, breaking it's two back legs. It than attacked and broke the legs of two more mammoths by the time the rest managed to get up.

The mammoths fled, leaving behind the three that were unable to walk. The ice dragon than attacked the closest mammoth, snapping its neck and killing it, before doing the same to one of the others.

For the last one, the dragon smirked at it before digging its claws into the mammoths side, than pulling them out, tearing a large hole in the mammoth's side. It cried out in pain before laying back down, unable to move as its life was slowly and painfully drained away.

The dragon, who soon grew bored of waiting, just decided to snap the mammoth's neck. He licked the blood off his claws but froze when he heard a voice.

''Wasn't that a bit of overkill?'' The dragon looked over and saw, what appears to be a human with dragon wings, but everyone knows that he's not a human.

''Oh hush Lucas.'' The dragon glowed for a moment, but when the glowed died down, there was a man with dragon wings.

''Mammoths don't come by very often, and they have the best taste of all the animals we can hunt, other than killer whales and polar bears.'' Lucas, who was the smaller of the two, sighed when he realized that his brother had a point.

''Okay David. Let's just move these somewhere safer where we shouldn't have to worry about anything coming up and trying to eat from the carcasses.'' Lucas and David both glowed for a second before David, who was the larger of the two, grabbed two of the mammoths and left the other one for Lucas to bring back.

The two of them flew through the tunnel's many twists and turns, occasionally flying upwards or downwards because some areas of the tunnel system have more tunnels that go up or down.

After a few minutes, they flew out of the cave and into the snowy sky. Lucas didn't mind the cold, he actually enjoyed it. This would surprise most as water dragons like Lucas would hate the cold, but Lucas and David are half ice dragon and half water dragon.

Lucas had always loved flying just as much as he loves water, while water dragons hate the thought of having to fly. He was enjoying flying right now, with his brother who loves flying just as much as he did.

They continued to fly until they approached a large mountain in the middle of the island. They flew upwards in the direction of the mountain before dive bombing down towards the center, which held a large pit.

They spread their wings out and caught an updraft and they glided into a tunnel within the deep pit. They than began to make their way through a very complicated tunnel system, which they navigated with ease.

They flew into a very large and very beautiful, underground cavern, that was covered in vegetation, crystals, and beautiful water.

The cavern had some large holes in the sides of the wall that were dug by some of the other dragons so that they all would have dens. The largest den had a bunch of recently hunted animal carcasses, showing that some of the others would have already been back to the cavern. The largest den had a bunch of plants in it, which were used to help heal wounds and illnesses.

The two of them had flew towards the food den and dropped the mammoths before Lucas told David that he was going to visit Bri and Silver. David wasn't surprised at this, seeing as how Bri and Silver's hatchling had hatched from it's egg two weeks ago. Lucas had always loved hatchlings, but knows that no one except for those who share the same blood as the hatchling are allowed to visit it for the first two weeks after they hatch.

He smiled when he remembered ho Lucas reacted when Bri and Silver's first group of hatchlings became two weeks old (they grew up enough to decide if they wanted to leave the island and start their own pack or stay, which they decided to leave with promises of visiting), before flying back to his den in the cavern.

He landed in his den and saw that his mate, Mario, was keeping himself occupied with a pastel green crystal that was in the shape of an orb. Mario looked up when he heard David land and sent him a soft smile while standing. David returned the smile before motioning Mario towards him with his wing. Mario came towards him and nuzzled his side as they both cuddled on the ground, still in dragon form.

''How was your hunt?'' David looked towards Mario and smiled.

''It was great. Lucas and I caught three mammoths and two killer whales, which we brought back earlier.'' Mario beamed when he heard that, since those are two of the most delicious prey here.

''That's amazing.'' He nuzzled David and they curled up even closer.

''Not as amzing as being able to be your mate.'' Mario blushed in embarrassment as David chuckled.

Mario rested his head on David's front legs while David rested his head ontop of Mario's. They bother were beginning to doze off, but were snapped awake when a certain fire dragon flew into the cave with an important announcement.

''We found 4 more dragons!!''
