(Nataly's pov): Next day in New York City...

Researching its own past of Radiator Springs on the internet as everyone calls it these days, did not help much with the info I needed but, luckily that I woke up earlier in order to get ready for the trip; I packed all my belongings into boxes while also bringing some of the CDs I thought would be perfect for the trip were all my favorite country, soft and cozy songs such as Taylor Swift, Trace Adkins, Rascal Flats & Brad Paisley. Around 3 am, I drank my oil and stamped a "FOR SALE" sign on my old apartment, and drove out.

--Interstate--

Out of the city, I'm on the highway which took me time to think of where I should research first once I get there.

Along with the road trip to Radiator Springs, I played 'Mine' on my radio to sing along since no one was around much since the billboards outside of the city had nothing on the freeway; Later, I stopped by a refreshment booth to wake me up and survive.

Sooner or later, I was not going to stop and rest until I find the small town called Radiator Springs, on the highway around 1:00 am, I started to feel thirsty and tired from the lack of rest or gas, so in order to focus on my surroundings at night, I lower the music before I drove slowly to pause my brakes and look up at the sign next to me that says 'Route 66'; To my exhausted relief, as it washes over me and I began to smile proudly of myself but tiredly from the lack of fuel, I haven't drunken anything since my first stop.

However, as I got closer I spotted a billboard and so I turn to find a black police car right behind it he was sound asleep the poor man I thought I hated the idea to do this to an officer/sheriff so, I honked.

HONK HONK! I sweatdropped because it reminded me of doing this to my professors and they didn't seem to like my idea of helping...He was startled and coughed in embarrassment as soon as he saw me, he scolded me (go figure), "Do you have any idea what time it is?"

"No Sheriff," I held my fit of giggles as I continued, "I hope I did not disturb your beauty nap?"

The black police car did not know how to reach or respond to that...I hope we were on good terms, "Where you headed ma'am?"

I stuttered, "I-I just wanted to know if there is a place called 'Radiator Springs'? It is just...I-I mean I am tired and thirsty so if you would so kindly guide me to it, I would very much appreciate it."

The Sheriff just stared at me as if I was the first car he has seen in ages until he immediately spoke, "Why! Why of course let me escort you there ma'am."

The Sheriff's car turned on his flashing lights and motioned for me to follow him. I started my engine and fell in line behind him, grateful for his assistance. As we drove through the dark night, I couldn't help but feel a mix of excitement and nervousness. The prospect of finally finding Radiator Springs was both thrilling and daunting. He led the way, his red and blue lights illuminating the empty road ahead. I kept my eyes fixed on his taillights, making sure not to lose sight of him. After driving for what felt like hours, we finally reached a small town nestled among rolling hills.

to be continued...
