(Henry's P.O.V.)

I spun around to see Percy holding up the Drink Me bottle!!!

"Yeah, actually!" I said.

"Great, cuz you can't have it," Percy said.

My face fell. So much for a grand adventure.

"How did you get down here, anyway?" Percy asked.

"Ummm...I fell down the rabbit hole?" I replied.

"That tiny rabbit hole?"

"Yeah. It got gradually bigger and bigger and bigger..." I said. "And then, a voice called out to me...it said 'Come closer'."

"Wait, you heard a voice?" Percy gasped. "You heard THE voice!"

"What's THE voice?" I asked, getting excited.

"The voice inside your head!" Percy suddenly burst out laughing. "Just kidding. No, it's the bottle. The bottle was speaking to you...she only speaks to those worthy enough for her."

"Can you explain that to me, I'm so confused!" I rubbed my head, wondering if I had hit it on a rock or something and this was a dream.

"On April Fools day, it chooses one fool to hook on to." Percy smirked.

"I'm not a fool!"

"A desperate fool, who would do anything to be a hero."

I stopped. "How did you know?"

"I know a lot of things, I'm the white rabbit!"

"May I have the potion now?" I asked, giving in to the temptation. I had to become a hero. And something told me this potion was going to do it.

"Read the note first." Percy handed me a note on crinkled parchment paper. It read:

Drink Me! I will turn you into your greatest desire! A hero, a warrior, a knight, a wizard. A dog, a cat, a horse, a lizard. A god, a train, a plane, a moose. A bucket, a car, a deer, a goose.

But be careful. Before you drink me, heed this warning: all magic comes with a price.

So, what are you waiting for? Go ahead, drink me! If you dare.....

"I dare!" I said. "Of course I dare."

"Here it is then. Become a hero." Percy nodded, handing me the bottle. Then, he looked at his pocket watch.

"OH BOTTLE OF DESIRES I'M LATE!" He zipped off into the darkness.

Gulping my fear down my throat, I uncorked the bottle and drank from it.
