The boys and girls of the main cast of the drama club met at the school with the contraption the boys made and the cloak the girls (and Seb) made. Big Red led the group, looking at the key ring he had. "These two are for the pizza shop. This one's for the front door of my house. This one's for my bike lock. Oh! I haven't seen this one in a while."

"You do have the key, right, babe?" Ashlyn asked. 

Big Red smiles, showing everyone the keys he's now holding. "I narrowed it down to this half of the key chain."

Oliver groans quietly and since he was standing beside Gina he leans his head on her shoulder, closing his eyes. "This is gonna take forever." Gina chuckled and smiled at him, but her heart sped up and her face heats up when he laid his head on her shoulder. Why did this boy have to be so cute?

The group of teens waited as Big Red kept trying different keys, but then the door opened revealing Natalie and everyone sighed with relief. Natalie looked at Big Red with raised eyebrows. 

"You could've just knocked." She said and walked to the stage.

After laying out the copy of the blueprint plans North High was using on the stage everyone gathered around it. Oliver stood beside where Gina kneeled on the floor with his arms crossed, his head was tilted to the side, and his eyebrows were furrowed together. He couldn't believe that this was such a simple transformation. He thought it would be more impressive. 

"Wait. So, in the Broadway show, all they did was suspend the Beast in the air, and then he takes off the mask?" Gina questioned, her voice laced with disbelief. Oliver assumed he wasn't the only one who's surprised about this by how she sounded and by the looks on everyone's faces.

"But combine this with the wire from 'Getcha Head In The Game', we're golden." Ashlyn speaks up. "Do we still have Ricky's harness?"

"Ooh, it's in the costume shop." Kourtney sheepishly smiles and shrugs. "Somewhere."

Natalie nods. "Everyone, let's meet back in fifteen."

The drama club members got up and separated to get to work. Oliver stood off to the side, working up the courage to ask Gina out. He knew now probably isn't the best time, but he just couldn't wait anymore and he didn't know when else to ask her. He took a deep breath, muttering to himself "You can do this." repeatedly as he walked over to where Gina was looking at one of the blueprints.

"Um, hi, G." Oliver speaks up, gaining her attention. She looks up at him and smiles. He smiles nervously. "How was the sleepover?"

"It was fun." Gina responded.

Oliver slowly nods and awkwardly responds with, "That's-That's cool."

Gina nods. "Yep."  When the two of them started to stare into each other eyes, Gina quickly breaks the eye contact when she feels her face heat up and changes the subject. She glances at the rest of the group, trying to look for something that would give her an excuse to get away from this awkward and tensed situation. "I should..." She points at Big Red, who was holding a ladder. "See if Big Red needs help with the ladder."

"Right." Oliver swallows down his disappointment of not being able to ask her out and forces a smile. "Yeah. Okay." Gina turned around and started to walk away. She stopped when Oliver blurted out something she never thought but hoped he would say.

"Would you like to go out with me? It doesn't have to be Slicers. We can go anywhere you want to." Before Gina had turned around to face him, Oliver closed his eyes shut and a grimaced expression formed on his face. He didn't want to see the disgusted look on her face.

He missed the fact that Gina looked at him with a wide smile but there was a surprised glint in her eyes. "Did anyone put you up to this?" Gina hesitantly asks, walking back over to Oliver. "I feel like this would be some kind of thing your sister would make you do."

Oliver opens his eyes, surprised that she hadn't run off and that it seemed like she wasn't disgusted by the idea of going out with him. "No, um," He swallows nervously, rubbing the back of his neck. "I-I wanted to ask you out." Gina stands in front of him, a smile tugging on her lips, and Oliver could feel his face heat up. "And I have for a while, so..."

"I would love to go out with you, Ollie." Gina interrupted him.

The two teens smile at each other, staring at each other with adoringly expressions. "Okay," Oliver finally manages to speak. He chuckles nervously, feeling butterflies swarm in his stomach the longer she smiles at him, and he feels his face heat up. "That's-That's great."

Soon it was time to do the transformation scene with the harness. Oliver got strapped in the harness and Ashlyn put on the blue cloak before they got into their positions. Ashlyn knelt beside Oliver as he laid on the floor before the two acted out this scene.

"I, I, I..." Oliver pretended to be like he was in pain as he spoke, reaching out to Ashlyn.

"Please," Ashlyn cries out. "I love you." Oliver pretended to choke and then turned so he was laying on his stomach.

Ashlyn looks at Big Red and nods. "Now."

Big Red smiles, nodding as he begins to spin the wheel that would pull Oliver up with the ropes which are attached to the harness. Ashlyn stood up and took a step back when Oliver began to be lifted higher into the air.

"Y'all, this is some Broadway stuff." Kourtney grinned.

Natalie smiles. "We're gonna win." She excitedly speaks, glancing at each of them. "You guys, we're actually going to win."

"We're going to make Miss Jenn so proud." Carlos chimed in.

That was when everything went bad. The rope began to break and before anyone knew it a scream was heard as Oliver fell.

A/N oliver for sure acted way better than ricky did. i love ricky, but i thought he didnt act that well the first time they practiced the transformation scene or the second time at the end of the episode. the end of this episode kind of made me a bit upset. like they did nothing to try & help ricky or ashlyn. they just stood there. the least they could've done was pull ashlyn away so she wouldnt get hurt. but anyway, yay olina is going to go on their first date !! i love gina & oliver so much you guys
