Nathan's POV:

      Emma and I had our first son two years after our wedding. Then six months later we had our first daughter. Then, it was twin boys, and finally, we had our last daughter two days ago. We both agree that children are one of life's blessings.

       "Kate, Jack, and Matthew your sister is not a tug toy," Emma calls out. I knew then I needed to step in to intervene.

         "Listen to your mother, Kara is your baby sister. She is not a doll you can toss around when you please," I corrected them. Emma smiled.  

            The older children apologized and Matthew let go of his sister's legs, the others let go of her arms, and she started to fall. I caught her. Emma winked at me.

           "You know you always were a good catch," Emma teased. "Oh, is that so, then, I am glad you caught me," I teased back.

     I sat on the sofa holding Kara. Emma played a game with Kate, Jack, and Matthew. Who knew we would have four children? I never could have imagined the day that Emma's heart was torn that I would be the one to mend it, to marry her, and be the four of four children. 

     After the game, the others went to their rooms. Kara was passed off to Emma so she could feed her. I read a book. Then, Kara's diaper was changed and Emma put her in her crib. 

   Emma and I kissed. We sat together basking in the goodness of the blessings. Yes, we were and still are blessed.
