Aaaa okay um dhsjsh I really want to cut my hair, I've wanted to cut my hair for a long time but I'm also very nervous

See I haven't had anything but long hair since I was a baby?? I never cut much off?? But I feel plain and gross about it, like it's the only part of me that hasn't caught up yet

A lot of people have told me I should cut it, my sister especially, and they're right

She likes to call my hair John Lennon hair cause it hangs down flat and straight, it used to be worse since I'd never put it up and it was parted right, down, the middle, ohno, but it still looks awful

I wish I could do a face reveal to explain better

Earlier, I found out that Diadem cut her hair short, her hair always looks amazing and she's had all sorts of layers but this new style looks incredible,, I love it so much

Later today I ended up telling the gc about how much I really wanted to cut my hair [not like overly short but also fairly short??] and Diadem and Empress were super supportive, in fact right away they basically started acting like this was a thing that was happening, they weren't pressuring me it was just "sure let's do that", Empress even said she wanted to get hers cut with me

Next week is yearbook photos and I'd really like to cut my hair before then, if I do at all

But I'm scared

I'm used to long hair, I don't adapt well to change, and now that I've recently discovered how comfy a messy bun is it's all I do with my hair half the time [wow that's pathetic] and I want to be able to put it up as a result

But at the same time,, this could be great, it could give me more confidence and let me relax more in public!

Plus The Aesthetic lol [like I have one]

For reference, my hair is currently super boring dirty blonde and it reaches to,, about mid-boob I'd say?? [or lack thereof, I'm like an a cup tbh but I don't really mind] It hangs straight/wavy, although I sometimes straighten/curl it, and I have it parted to the far side
