Completely different topic from 69 jokes this chapter actually,, I'm gonna talk about a weird dream I had!

I don't normally remember dreams, nor are they usually this disturbing, so I guess I might as well document this one ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I don't know much of the beginning, but I was traveling with my parents and we were in a hotel room I'd been in before, it was morning so I was still in my glasses and pajamas, these people showed up and I guess we were going with them somewhere?? There was this big shiny car thing, long like a limo with like five rows of seats and cramped space in all of them, each row had other people who I think were [other?] tourists

Still in my pajamas, I thought "fuck it" and got in, for some reason I was laying down on my stomach with my legs probably clipping into the seat behind me??

We drove for a little while and stopped at this,, place,, it was some sort of town, it had a big body of water that I didn't notice until later and muddy patches of land

We all went to this restaurant place, and for some reason this guy I knew for part of last year before he moved who I hadn't thought about in ages was there?? I think I actually struck up a conversation, which I wouldn't have done irl

This part is fuzzy, but I know I got some sort of drink from a soda fountain and we all were waiting for this guy [he acted like a guide, he was very nice to us] to go up and give a speech at this big,, basin thing, it was filled with what looked like snow?? In it was this little figurine that I knew was evil for some reason but did nothing to stop

Now, by this point something strange had happened, without realizing I'd switched from being myself to being my character, Bailey, which is insane!! But also pretty cool! It was funny, despite being her and thinking of myself as her, I kept thinking things like "oh, there's Bailey, I wonder where Carter is" and such

Anyway, this is where things started to actually get scary, mainly because I am TERRIFIED of sickness, specifically like,, diseases,,, gsjgshshsg I hate that word

The guide guy goes up and gives some sort of speech about happy things and then he does something with the snow basin, I'm not sure what [eats some of it?] and,, immediately starts to melt

I'm talking blood pouring out of his eyes and ears, skin turning to liquid, all that yuck, basically he had been infected with something and it forced him to go full Made In Abyss

[since you probably haven't seen that anime,, think a little chibi girl having what happened to the guide happen to her in the most graphic way possible]

He kinda goes all zombie mode too, cause he immediately started trying to touch other people, which caused them to start melting [but none of them were dying??] I, as Bailey, ran away, thankfully managing to dodge all the melty people

I ran down these stairs, and in the process I saw this group of people who I think had put the little figurine in the snow, which had started the whole thing, because they were evil or something?? Hahaha gray area what's that

Anyway, I made it out and had this one guy chasing me, so I threw this shield thing at him?? I think it was my weapon but never in her existence have I given Bailey a shield for a weapon so,, huh

Throwing the shield knocked the guy away, but then I had no weapon, and I guess I couldn't go back for it, this guy came up to me and told me to escape on this boat, so I grabbed a giant pan to use as a new weapon [it disappears without me realizing about two minutes later] and got into this weird "boat", it was like one of those cockpits with two seats?? I got in the back and put the giant pan in front of me

The guy starts speeding away on the river, and I thought I was safe, but then we hear another speedboat behind us and I turn around and it's the evil people from before, the guy manages to outrun them but once we lightly crash into the shore we both realize that this rundown town we were going to has also been infected, and there are melty people E V E R Y W H E R E

The guy tries to shoot them [?] down but is quickly overtaken, for the next couple minutes I think I literally thought I was in a montage?? I kept jumping from building to boat to building, each time finding a room with safe people who would immediately get infected, causing me to run again

Finally, I was cornered in a bent tunnel between some melty people up top and a person who wasn't melty but I also apparently wanted to get away from behind me

I literally ex machina'd my way out of the situation

Basically, I put my hands up as if I was carrying an invisible object and started creating a glowing ball of light, once it was strong enough it exploded and everyone was cured,, I think, that's when I woke up
