I really don't know anyone's thoughts on anything that happened, for all I know these could all be super unpopular or super popular thoughts but I just

Poe, my man, my main man, got the depth he deserved, there was so much wasted potential in the first movie and they earned it back

Oh and don't even get me started on Rose

Also now is a great time to mention that I immediately connected her and Shay, as well as Finn and Hunk, THEY ARE SHUNK/HUNAY IT'S HAPPENING EVERYBODY STAY CALM

The minute the bomber thing was happening I thought to myself, 'Nope, she's got to be important, some connection'

And she was, and she's so sweet and even the backstory fits, a MINING COLONY?? YEA THE BALMERA HOW ABOUT THAT

Speaking of predictions and foreshadowing that I glimpsed, let's list some more:

- the little ice fox creatures being important
- Luke dying (okay, I didn't directly hear any spoilers but I heard one in a crowd at school)
- the light saber breaking
- the little kid in the stables being important

Here's one that I didn't predict but I love: Rey's parents

They are NOT Han and Leia, they are NOT Luke and whoever, they are unimportant and her bloodline did not force her into the chosen one trope after all. Thanks to partially good, partially bad intentions, she EARNED control over her power. I take back comments about her being overpowered because I love this so much more.

Back on the thing with Finn and Rose, I sense a love triangle coming, or possibly a square. Rey and Poe did make bedroom eyes at each other when they'd only just met, so it feels like they're gunning for one.

I realize I'm a bit of a traitor for supporting Finn X Rose when so many want that sweet, sweet Finn X Poe. Which I still love, by the way. However, I just can't shake those warm and fuzzy Hunay feels.

Couple other Voltron comparisons because I have no self control. That perpetually drunk code breaker gives me Rolo feels, and I see a small amount of Acxa in Phasma.
