A/n  pov

It all began with the rain. A young boy and his mother  walked  along the road in the small town of Kouh.  With a Umbrella in hand the mother smiled at her child and spoke to him.

Masaki: Come on now Y/n try to stay under the umbrella sweetie.

Y/n: Don't worry mama I'll be fine!

 Masaki noticed a car coming by in which  drenched the boy before she knelled down and patted her son's head. While wiping off her son with a towel she had brought she spoke to him compassionately and gently.

Masaki: Aw did you get hurt? Here why don't you walk on this side instead. You can even hold my hand if you want.

Y/n: Nu uh It's ok I want to stay on this side.

Masaki: Why is that sweetie?

Y/n: *smiles brightly* So I can protect you mama!

Masaki:*giggles*Well aren't you my little hero. Well  then  we should keep going. We wouldn't want your sisters and your father to worry would we?

As the two continued walking  Y/n saw a pale girl by the river bed.

Y/n: Hey mama that girl doesn't have a Umbrella.

Masaki looked to where her son was pointing confused.

Masaki: Girl?

The young boy smiled innocently then ran towards her to give her his Umbrella. Masaki's eyes filled with terror  as she rushed to her son. 

Masaki: WAIT Y/N DON'T DO IT!

 By the time the boy's mother had caught up to him the boy blacked out. When he woke up the boy stared upon his mother seeing a pool of red around her.

Y/n: M-Mom.....why aren't you answering me?

Mommy?

??? pov

We stand in awe before that which we cannot see....and we hide in fear before that which we cannot explain.

3rd person pov( 10 years later)

A certain boy with Orange hair  was seen walking around the streets. Seeing five punks having knocked over a vase with  flowers in it. Seeing a little girl crying  over the flowers the boy clenched his fists. Walking over towards the punks the boy called out.

Y/n: Oi jackass.

When they turned around Y/n sucker punched one of them to the ground. 

Punk 2: What the hell is this kid for real?!

Punk 3: You got a death wish kid? No one jumps one of my boys and lives to tell about it?

Y/n closed his eyes then sighed while rubbing his head.

Y/n: Gimme a break.

Punk 3:THAT'S ALL YOU GOT TO SAY?!

The punk went to punch Y/n who only knocked him out with a single kick.

Punk 2: OH SHIT LIL YAMA IS DOWN!

One of the punks was about to try and attack Y/n until he saw Y/n stomping their leaders head into the concrete.

Punk 4: A-AIN'T NO FUCKING WAY I'M FIGHTING THAT INSANE KID!

Y/n glared at the group before he yelled out.

Y/n: ALRIGHT LISTEN UP YOU PUNK SCUM YOU SEE THAT VASE?!  YOU KNOW WHY THAT'S THERE?! YOU IN THE MIDDLE ANSWER?!

 Punk 2: M-ME?! Oh well I suppose it was for some kid who got killed here. We-

Y/n cut off the punk by roundhouse kicking him.

Y/n:CORRECT! Now next question why is it laying on it's side?

Punk 5: I-I guess one of us must've knocked it over when we were skateboarding through here.

Y/n kicked the other two down the stood tall as the little girl walked towards him. 

Y/n: Good you guys catch on fast. Now apologize and  I might let you go.

All of the punks looked confused as Y/n's hand was on the girls head. Having seen nothing they looked at Y/n. Y/n stomped his foot and glared at them scaring them shitless.

Y/n: DID I STUTTER?! APOLOGIZE OR NEXT TIME THE FLOWERS WILL BE FOR YOU!!

The men squealed before screaming sorry and running away. After they did Y/n's face returned to being calm as he walked to the vase. Picking it up and placing putting the flowers back in it Y/n turned back to the girl.

Y/n: Well that should keep those punks away from here. Sometimes people can be real bastards. I'll drop by the flower store and buy you some new ones tomorrow. 

Ghost girl: Thank you for helping me. Your such a kind man!

Y/n: It's nothing,after all you deserve to rest in peace.

Waving off to the girl Y/n walked away returning on his way to school. 

Y/n pov

My name is Y/n Kurosaki and for as long as I've known I have had the power to see the souls of the dead. Maybe it's because my family runs a clinic here in Kouh? I don't really know all I do know is that I have a rep around my school as a punk. Honestly I couldn't care less what people think about me. If I did I would've dyed my hair some different color. When I walked through the school gates I noticed a guy I knew all to well. Standing by two morons I walked over to him.

???: WE WILL GET OUR OWN HAREMS!

Y/n: Yeah right Hyoudou how are you gonna do that when everyone's pegged ya as a pervert?

Motohama: No one asked you Kurosaki! You'll be lucky to get a girl too you know?!

Matsuda: Damn right bruh! You're ass ain't nothing but a punk with goofy ass orange hair!

Y/n:  Oh brother unlike you morons I don't care about picking up chicks. Besides even if I did you know some girls have a thing for bad boys. 

Motohama: Grrrr

Issei stared at the other two in anger then spoke.

Issei: Don't I'll go and kick Kurosaki's ass once and for all! You guys just go on ahead.

Matsuda: That's my man Issei! kick his ass!

 Once the two of them walked away Issei turned  to me and spoke with a embarrased look.

Issei: Look dude I know you have a point but you don't have to rub it in.

Y/n; All I wanna know is why in the hell do you still bother hanging with those morons? Issei  you know your better than them right?

Issei: I know but I don't really have much  of a choice. You know I respect ya and don't want to go wrecking your rep here man. If I go dragging you down then you'll be hated too. So for now I really don't have anything else I can do other than be what they think I am.

Y/n: Well I think that's a load of crap. You'll find better people Issei I know it.

Issei smiled at me before we fist bumped.

Issei: Thanks man.

When school was over Y/n was seen walking home with Issei. While they were a girl was seen watching them from a window. 

???: Hmm Hey Akeno who are those 2 boys?

Akeno: Oh they would be Issei Hyoudou and Y/n Kurosaki.  Y/n happens to be quite a odd one. Some say he's a some punk and yet I've heard some others talk rather nicely about him. But regardless he and Hyoudou are actually close friends since they children. If you ask me though he's quite a handsome guy

Rias.

Rias: I see they are interesting.. Akeno I'm gonna go and bathe make sure no one interrupts me ok?

Akeno: As you wish Rias.

(Back with Y/n)

Issei:*smiles* You know Y/n.. I'm actually very relieved..

Y/n: Why is that?

Issei: To have a friend like you...I know Keigo and the others like me too.If i'm being honest though man to man i'm happy to know that no matter what happens your here for me bro.

After stopping by a park Y/n waved Issei goodbye and walked off.

Y/n: Well it's only natural, No way in hell am I gonna let you suffer. Anyways this where I split. See you tomorrow Issei.

Issei: Later Kurosaki!

After Y/n walked off Issei turned around seeing a girl before him.

???: E-Excuse me you're Issei Hyoudou right?

While Y/n headed home he saw a explosion and rushed to see what happened. As people ran away Y/n saw the ghost girl from earlier trying to run away from a giant bug looking monster.

Y/n: (mind) W-WHAT THE HELL IS THAT?!

Ghost girl: P-PLEASE HELP ME!

Y/n: COME ON HURRY 

Helping the girl try to run away Y/n  stopped when she tripped.  Grabbing onto her to shield her Y/n braced for the blow. However Seeing when nothing came Y/n looked up seeing a petite woman and a black butterfly. Watching in awe as the girl slashed the heads head apart Y/n could do nothing but stare.

Y/n: (mind) J-just  who is she?

After the girl vanished without saying a word Y/n slowly returned home. A few hours passed as Y/n sat in his room thinking about earlier until the girl from earlier entered his room.

???: It's close by I can sense it.

Y/n: Hey you'r that girl from earlier!

When the girl continued to speak to herself Y/n kicked her in the ass knocking her to the ground.

Y/n: CUT IT OUT! You know if your a robber you sure as hell ain't a good one. How much longer are you gonna talk to yourself!

???: Y-You hit me? A-Are you actually saying you can see me?

Y/n: Well considering that was my foot I planted up your ass you tell me?

???: How strange . Wait a second I remember your that boy from earlier.

Y/n: Boy nothing gets by you huh?

Y/n stared in confusion as she moved his head and inspected him.

???: You must be defective in some way.

Y/n: Grr I'll show you defective!

Y/n went to kick the girl only for her to jump off his head and send him down to ground.

Y/n: Alright who the hell are you?

The girl looked at Y/n then spoke.

Rukia: You wanna know? Fine then my name is Rukia Kuchiki and i'm what you can call a Soul Reaper.

Rukia sat and and explain  to Y/n about the Soul Reapers duties to balance good and evil souls. How they come from the Soul Society and finally about the evil spirits known as Hollows. While he was un trusting of her he began to rub her head.

Y/n: even if I believe your story it's way too crazy. I'll admit you ain't human atleast now run along and go play somewhere else ok little brat? Now run along.

Rukia: *Smirks* So i'm a brat am I? Bakudo# 1: SAI!

When Y/n's arms snapped behind him like a restraint he fell on the ground and struggled.

Y/n: M-My body! What did you do to me?!

Rukia: I simply used some minor paralysis on you.   I used what's called a Kido spell on you,it's a high level incantation only use soul reapers can use. I may look young to you but i've lived over 100 of your life times.  I'd kill you if it wasn't against my orders so YOU little boy be grateful.

Y/n:Grr

After Rukia continued to explain things to Y/n they both suddenly heard a creature roar. Hearing a crash from downstairs Y/n saw one of his little sisters weakly fall.

Yuzu: Y-Y/n.

Y/n: YUZU!

Yuzu: K-Karin is...P-Please help her!

Y/n's stared in horror as Rukia rushed downstairs.

Y/n: H-HEY UNTIE ME DAMMIT!!

Trying to stand Y/n gritted his teeth.

Y/n:(mind) NO WAY IN HELL I'M GONNA LET KARIN AND YUZU DIE HERE!

 After rushing downstairs and seeing Karin get grabbed by a beast Y/n tried to break free of the Kido spell.

Rukia: STOP IT YOU FOOL! NO HUMAN CAN BREAK THAT YOU'LL ONLY DO MORE HARM TO YOUR SOUL!

Y/n: S-SHUT UP!

Y/n's eyes glimmered with light as he managed to break free. Grabbing something from his house he hit the creature in the face.  After the creature smacked him into the ground Y/n stood back up.

Y/n; You ugly bastard you wanted me right? Then let Karin go and take me instead one on one you freak!

 When the Hollow let go charged at Y/n to devour him Rukia took the blow.

Y/n: S-SOUL REAPER!

As Rukia cut Karin free and harmed the Hollows jaw it vanished.

Rukia: Y-You fool...did you really think sacrificing yourself would satisfy a Hollow? No one soul will ever satisfy a Hollows hunger.

When the Hollow reappeared Rukia stared up at Y/n.

Rukia: T-Tell me do you want to save your family?

Y/n: Of course I do! just tell me how and I'll do it!

Rukia: It's a risky move...i'm not even sure it'll work. But right now it's the only choice we got. I need you to run my Zanpakuto through the center of your being. I'll pour my soul reaper power into you.

As the Hollow approached Y/n was silent. Meanwhile elsewhere Issei was seen bleeding out When a red circle appeared near him.  Rias smiled staring at Issei before pulling red pieces.

Rias:(mind) I'll do whatever it takes to save this boy. if the fallen wanted him then that can only mean something big..*to Issei* I heard your call and I promise you that tonight won't be your end.

Back with Y/n the boy grabbed Rukia's sword then smiled at her.

Y/n: Then give me that sword Soul Reaper.

Rukia:*smiles*..My name is Rukia.

As Y/n rammed the sword through his chest he spoke to her.

Y/n: And my name is....Y/n Kurosaki.

In a explosion of light the  Hollows arm was hacked off. When the light faded the Hollow stared at Y/n seeing his new form.

Y/n: You Hollow bastard. I'll make you pay for hurting my family!

 Y/n rushed at the Hollow managing to overpower it with ease. Rukia stared in awe when Y/n  Jumped up and finished it by slashing it in half.

Rukia/Rias:(mind) I don't know just what kind of power this boy really has. But whatever it is he has the potential to do incredible things!
