Mav can have a serious attitude problem, she's always irritated especially if she doesn't get what she wants. She likes to be in control and feels powerless if she looses her control. She's very smart and she knows it,  she uses it to her advantage and likes to play mind games. She doesn't believe she has enough power and wants to rule both kingdoms. Mav is very easy to annoy and it doesn't take much to piss her off. She only cares about her children and her lover, although she'd never admit to it. She would do anything for them.

Mav was born to a peasant family, before the truth of Wearhs and Lycans was common knowledge. She got very sick shortly after her 20th birthday. A woman wrapped in silk with jewels in her hair came to Mav one night, she was quiet and cold. Mav was lulled asleep by the woman singing and when she woke up the next morning there had been a massacre of her parents and their blood was covered Mav. She fled and eventually found the woman, she learned the truth about what she was and what she turned Mav into. Centuries later Mav found herself amongst the royal court and later found her husband already sitting on the throne, of course he wasn't turned yet nor was he her husband. Mav turned them all and her reign started, her husband was enchanted by her and did love her for a time. Of course after living for so long their love fizzled out and she still is fond of him but no longer like she had been.
