ー She not only has a twin sister, Manami who is a popular seiyuu in Japan but also a younger adopted from whom she loves like her own flesh and blood, Koushi who's in the most prestigious dance crew in Japan

ー She has debuted in Japan since she was 15 years old and her own fandom is called AiYus (Ai = love / Yu = you = opposite of Mi/Me)

ー While her fans call her Ai-Hime out of respect and affection because is she quite charming and lovable but her siblings call her that out of mock because she is also an absolute menace sometimes and loves to mess with others

ー She can speak 3 languages rather fluently (English, Mandarin and Japanese - both the Kansai dialect and Standard) but is only just learning Korean, so she mixes her languages quite often

ー Her voice, intonation, pitch and personality change when she speaks English, Japanese and Mandarin which her friends and siblings always tease her

ー She loves rappers like Eminem and J-Hope but she herself can never get a hang of rapping

ー She did gymnastics as a child and hapkido but while she didn't continue either of them, it was her hapkido skills that saved Koushi from their father's final outrage before her parents decided to get divorced

ー Her all-time favourite song is Nada Sou Sou by Ryoko Moriyama but the version sung by Mamamoo, which her brother showed her, is currently her favourite version of it

ー While she is actually under Hibiki talent agency in Japan, her manager and agency said to list herself as independent as an idol in Korea

ー In her family, she is the only one who can't cook for her life

ー She originally wanted to be a seiyuu (voice actress) like Manami but ended up moving her career more towards music

ー She is incredibly superstitious and will always spin her microphone before singing every song as part of her pre-performing ritual

ー Even though she's from Japan, she cannot actually stand eating sashimi or raw fish of any kind - she doesn't understand why anyone would eat anything without cooking it

ー She is currently engaged with Takumi Ryuu, the newest manager of ReStart who not only helped take care of Koushi while he was with them and was the one who arranged the surprise send-off for Koushi during the Aimi x ReStart collaboration concert - which Aimi felt so touched about

ー She used to be schoolmates with Treasure's Kanemoto Yoshinori (Yoshi) and have casually kept in contact with each other over the years
