"Welcome back, Mr Kaiser."

"Welcome, Mrs Kaiser." Every employee greets as Zipporah and I enter Rask Industries. It's Zipporah's first official time back since she worked as an interpreter, which was last year. I keep my arm around her hips, guiding her up to Grandfather's office suite.

"Guten Tag, Basil, Zipporah." He welcomes us warmly.

"Hallo." We reply and take our seats across from him in his lounge area. He clears his throat and Zipporah shifts, trying to find a happy medium. Her back is giving her problems again. I place my hand on her lower back and place firm pressure on it. It helps relieve her discomfort.

"How are you both doing?"

"I'm doing fine. The poison is completely out of my system and there are no long lasting effects to worry about. I had the weekend to finish healing."

"That is a relief," He turns to Zipporah, "What about you and the baby?"

"We're both perfectly fine. I'm sore, but that's about it. I'm starting to feel their movements now." I slip my arm around her torso, brightening when I feel the flutter of tiny feet underneath. Grandfather smiles.

"Wunderbar, sehr gut! Now, we must focus our attention on a serious issue."

"Natürlich." He sighs and places his elbows on his knees, clasping his hands together.

"I've caught wind of some troubling rumours. It would seem that whomever planned the poison cake is still active and is trying to infiltrate RI. And... they're specifically targeting Zipporah." My jaw locks.

"Are they recruiting people?"

"Yes. And trying to get information on her when and where details. As in, routine schedule. Luckily you have not set one. But any time spent here, there is a chance you might be harmed."

"Then I'll make sure she brings the security detail. The best. If Zipporah and the baby are hurt, I would never forgive myself." I declare, squeezing her hands. Grandfather and I delve into plans for her protection. My arms wrap around Zipporah and she rests against me. She's shaking, and I know she's worried for our child. I hold her as tightly as possible to comfort her and ease the fear.

What neither of us expect is for her to suddenly interject; "It would be too obvious to have so much security. Others may get hurt. I can handle myself with my usual detail."

"I won't take any chances." I refute. She sits up.

"I'm a Princess now. I'm responsible for lives then, aren't I? If people are harmed, even if on duty, then it would be on my shoulders. I don't want to make a huge deal out of this. The less said, the better." She does have a point. Overreacting could affect the general public opinion. And it could worsen what harm could befall Zipporah and our baby boy.

"Very well. But we'll have a med team standing by."
