Pikachu POV
I struggled to escape the chains once more. I felt myself becoming weaker and weaker. I had to escape, felt more electricity being to drain from my body. Please, let me go! I begged once more. Please, stop this! Darkri just chuckled. "Me and my master cannot allow that." Darkri said. "We need not you, but your power." I couldn't take much more of this, I had to escape. I got up but quickly fell down. "Fool, you cannot escape, no matter what happens!" A sudden Psybeam burst the wall, making bits of brick and stone fly all over. "Except for that!" Darkri said, trying to fly away, but a telepathic move stopped him, leaving him stuck in midair. It was quite funny, to see him try and run, but I was too weak to chuckle. "You thought you could get away with this?" A familiar voice shouted. "You thought you could stop this from happening?" I then realized it was Mewtwo. "You thought you could stop the chosen one?" He did another Psybeam at Darkri then broke my chains. "Come on, Pikachu." He said, picking me up and putting me on his shoulder. "We should get going." Many thoughts roamed my head as we left. Chosen one? Who is he talking about? Is it me? No, it can't be, can it? I'm not special, I'm just a regular Pikachu, or am I? I don't know anymore...

Ash POV
I found it hard to sleep that night, as the soft feel of Pikachu's fur was not with me tonight, or won't ever be with me again. I lay the stone statue in a car-seat like bed. "Goodnight." I said, giving the statue a nervous smile. I tried to doze off to sleep, but the pressure was too much. I sat up, staring at Pikachu, motionless and still. I got closer to it and moved my hand across the stomach. It felt, strange. Not cold, but not hot, it feels like a misty spring morning, damp and warm. "Pikachu." I slowly said. "Why can't you come back, why do you have to be gone?" Tears started to form in my eyes. "Why did Yveltal have to barley strike your tail, just why?" I started to get emotional. I grabbed out Pikachu's statue and hugged it tight. I felt a strange feeling in the chest, and as I looked down I gasped. A large, yellow glow emerged from where his heart would be. I was amazed at the sight. My hopes faded as the glow faded away, and didn't appear for the rest of the night. I didn't put Pikachu back in the car-seat, instead I slept with him the rest of the night. My eyes then became drowsy, and before I knew it I was fast asleep.
