"Open your eyes." Chris said in a calm voice

Rose slowly opens her eyes to see a worried Christensen who was on the verge of crying, his cheeks were slightly red and his eyes had tears in them.

"Are you ok?" Christensen asked.

Rose just nodded. She was speechless. She saw someone cry for her, for the first time.

"Why are you crying, Christensen?" She asked out of the blues.

"It's nothing," Christensen responded with a straight face.

"Hmm." Rose hummed in response getting up.

As soon as Rose started walking, her vision became blurry. Her body started to feel heavy and the brain started to go numb. It didn't take much time for her to go unconscious. But Christensen was there to catch her. He was there.

Chris took her to the nurse's office. He had to face a lot of glares and stares on his ways. But as if he cared.

The nurse told him to wait outside and he was doing what was told. When he got a call from Eric,

On the phone:

"Bro where are ya?" He asked in his semi-deep voice.

"I'm at the nurse's office." He replied.

"Bro you okay?!" He shouted through the phone.

"Yes, I'm fine." He replied.

"So what happened?" Eric questioned.

"You know that girl Roseline?" He asked.

"Yeah". Eric replied.

"She collapsed in front of me." He continued

"Really I always knew something was wrong with that girl," Eric said.

"That's it." He ended.

"How much time is it gonna take?" Eric questioned.

"I don't know." He replied and the nurse came out

"I'll talk to you later." He said hanging up not even caring about the further conversation.

"How is she?" He asked the nurse.

"She is fine. Just a panic attack and lack of nutrients."

"Can I see her?" He said clearly in a hurry.

The nurse nodded and he disappeared in a flash of light

When Christensen entered the room. There was no one except the one he was looking for. She was lying in the corner of the room. She had some needles attached to her wrist which are connected to the bottle hung beside her. She looked beautiful. Her white clothes matched everything beside her but still it was painful to watch.

Christensen came and sat beside her on the small stool that was kept there.

It was that moment when a tear escaped her eye. "Why are you crying I am here." He said to her.

He took her hand on his own. Her hands were warm and soft. They fitted perfectly with his hands as if they were meant for each other.

After a while, Rose opened her eyes and looked at him. He wasn't paying attention. He was staring at their hands which were intertwined, but it didn't take long for him to look at her.

"I'll call the nurse." He said but Rose held his hand and shook her head.

Rose sat up and took the needle out.

"Don't do that!" He complained.

"It alright." She said in a calm voice.

"What time is it?" She asked.

"It's the math period." He responded.

"We should go back we probably missed all the lessons today." She said.

"But you are not okay." He said in a sad tone.

"I'm fine." She said with a smile.

"Let's go." She said and they left.

When they entered the class all attention landed on them. The teacher didn't ask anything cause Christensen already told her.

They went to their seats. Rose was first greeted by the worried Chase.

He took her wrist and looked at her, Rose explained everything to him

He took a bandaid out of his pocket and put that on her wrist.

It was a habit of his to carry bandaids around because of the clumsy Rose.

The rest of the day went normal but rose couldn't help to think of Christensen.

Christensen Ebert.
