Personality:
Lucy keeps to herself and stays within her small bubble of comfort. She has trouble stepping outside of her bubble but has been trying to gain courage to do so. She doesn't think very highly of herself, contributing to her flight fear response. She's a very caring person with a kind heart and will help whoever she can, with the exception that she's still in her comfort zone of course.

While Lucy has been a coward most her life she has been working towards changing that, starting with her fighting back to her alcoholic mother. Lucy will handle being pushed around but only to a point. Her outbursts aren't violent but her voice carries rather loudly and often tears are a first response to anger.

Backstory:
Lucy's parents split when she was only a year old, her father going in to be a middle class single father who remarried and had other children, her mother becoming a severe alcoholic. When Lucy was six years old her mother tried to drown her in a lake next to their home but was interrupted by her father calling to give full custody to her mother. Lucy had been abandoned by her father to live with this woman who would rather party every weekend than stay with her child. It didn't get physical until Lucy was twelve and when she tried to defend herself she was only hurt worse and ever since then she found ways to avoid her mother. Lucy was able to avoid any physical altercation for the rest of her time living with her mother and only tried reconnecting with her father when she was 15. It didn't go so well but Lucy kept trying and this infuriated her mother. Finally Lucy snapped when her mother got incredibly drunk and started calling her names and throwing bottles, she ran to the only place she thought of and was taken in with pity by her father but life wasn't much easier there.

Extra: Lucy has a scar from her palm to her wrist from her mother throwing a bottle at her. Her fear of water came from when her mother tried to drown her.
