~Backstory~
Oami was born in the fire nation, growing up with a stable home. She turned out to be quite inquisitive and curious. Leading her to ask many questions and get many answers. Oami was one of the people that gained air bending after the energy shift, this frightened her but also excited her. She spent years looking up to avatar Aang and learning everything about the air nomads. She began training right away, using techniques she learned from books and eventually going to study with Tenzin on his island although she was already living in Republic City. She moved from her home in the fire nation, so she still isn't used to the soft colors or cool air.
