Emberpaw came back to camp with a scowl on her face her shoulder hurting as a small bit of blood treakling down. Dovepaw ran up to her and mewed " what happened?" Emberpaw shrugged her away and walked over to the medicine cat den. She was greeted by a frowning Mousepaw who hissed at her " there are clearly other clan mates who are more injured then you are!" Emberpaw hissed at her and sat down letting the more wounded cats get treated first. Larkstar called " all those who are old enough to gather their own prey gather beneath the high rock!" Emberpaw stood up and went over to the high rock sitting down shouldering away other cats. Larkstar sat at the high rock looking a little concerned and mewed " Emberpaw demonstrated great courage at the battle at sunningsrock today Emberpaw do you promise to uphold the warrior code even at the cost of your life?" Emberpaw shifted a little then mewed " Yes." Larkstar met her with a gaze of concern then said "from now on you will be known as Emberwing." Dovepaw cheered "Emberwing, Emberwing, Emberwin!" Until other cats began to join in. Emberwing stood up and went to the entrance of the camp sitting there her shoulders slouched over blocking out other cats not caring  to go and mourn over Blazestreak. She sat her vigil for the night stating at the stars watching the other cats finally disperse.
