Being back in school may mean going through what pretty much everyone tells me is the worst year of high school, but it also means that is back to the legendary dressing room! With a new school year comes new dressing room goals, so here are a few of my current plans for my first full year as costumer.

• Find out what is happening to all of my extra hangers. I started off with exactly 75 extra hangers in the beginning of 2018. I used none of them. By the end of May I was left with 18. Where did they go? I need to find out.

• Find out twinkly Christmas lights around all of the mirrors. I just imagine having those lights on with the overheads off and I swoon.

• Always start working on a show's costumes before rehearsals for the show officially starts. It'll save me a bunch of stress.

• Hang up my new big dry erase board! I used to just draw on the mirrors with dry erase markers to write out costumes lists and brainstorm how to do certain quick changes, but it was always a pain to fully erase. Plus with a dry erase board, I won't have to climb up dressing room counters to write. It'll be nice.

• Wash costumes before it's time for the girls to wear for dress rehearsals. Unfortunately a lot of those costumes have never been washed. Ever. It's time to change that.

• Develop a new dressing room counter sitting situation. It can get very crowded and stressful with 12+ girls in a small dressing room. We need space.

• Don't cry.
