TW: Fighting, blood

Florian sat at the hilltop, looking down at the soon-to-be battlefield. He had always been the most passive admin, and this was no exception. He didn't want to fight, no matter how much the others asked him too.

Florian worked with healing, not fighting.

Florian was very worried. His visions were mysteriously blank. Rafessor had briefly mentioned how he saw futures where someone died, but never more than one. Florian was desperately holding onto the vision where no one died, but the panic still bubbled beneath the surface.

Thats why Florian was in the sidelines, waiting to jump in to pull someone out, though he had a feeling he knew who that someone would be.

Sigils had been the first to arrive, with Jerome and Henwy very close behind. Rafessor and Frost were now approaching, having just finished telling Florian his role.

Biffle had been drawn outside by the sudden outburst of emotions coming from SSundee's front lawn.

The owner of the house followed soon after. Both enemies wore sleek grey armor, almost black. A sleek orange glass formed eyes that could be seen through only by the one wearing the helmet. Twisted black horns protruded from the back of the helmets, followed by three spines along the neck. Wings sprouted from the shoulder blades, shaped almost crystal-like. Around the duo's waists, blue rib-like markings were embedded into the armor. SSundee's being of diamonds, while Biffle's was of lapis.

Chaos Guardian armor. Florian thought to himself. They've sure been busy.

Sigils flexed his claws and narrowed his eyes. SSundee tilted his chin up, "Figured you would have died."

"Don't sound so disappointed, now," Sigils replied sarcastically. He snapped his attention to Biffle, "And don't look so disappointed."

Biffle did not respond.

Henwy stepped in front of Sigils and drew a wing in front of him, holding the Enderman back. "Look," Henwy started, "I know we've all had our differences, but we're going to kill each other if we don't put them aside."

"They did try to kill Sigils, so who says they care anymore," Jerome said quietly.

"I didn't intend to-," Biffle started, but was cut off by Sigils.

"You hit me with the Soul Stone!"

"I-!" Biffle started to protest, but SSundee put an arm in front of him, shushing him.

"Do you really think I'm going to peacefully hand over everything?" SSundee hissed, his voice even and filled with venom. "Have you already forgotten what happened last time? I wouldn't be surprised if you have, since you experienced none of the backlash."

Henwy flared his wings. Sigils snarled and darted forward, momentarily winking out of existence before reappearing directly in front of Biffle, claws lashing at his armor, which was already marked with previous slashes.

SSundee moved to grab Sigils, but Henwy had lashed out as well, his sword cutting at SSundee's shoulder. The metal shrieked, but the sword didn't cut completely through, instead leaving a burning mark.

SSundee hissed and whirled, knocking Henwy down with his arm. Spikes jutted out of the armor, catching the corner of Henwy's helmet and knocking it off. Henwy fell to the ground with a grunt. SSundee reached out to claw Henwy, but the avian rolled away in time to miss the claws that almost slashed his face. SSundee was about to strike again when Jerome leaped. The bear collided with SSundee's side, knocking him sideways and causing the two to roll across the grass. A blast of ice narrowly missed the two, and instead flew overhead and slammed directly into Biffle's shoulder, preventing him from slicing Sigils with his claws.

Biffle grunted and turned, head snapping and locking sights on Frost. He danced past SSundee, Jerome, and Henwy, and sent another blast of ice at Biffle. Sigils took the chance at Biffle's distraction and lunged, swiping at Biffle's helmet and knocking it off. Biffle gave a roar of fury and swiped as the two crashed to the ground. His claws caught Sigils' cheek. The enderman hissed. He raised his own hand to swipe, but Biffle lurched, throwing Sigils off. Rafessor materialized behind Biffle and swiped, his dark sword slicing clean through his armor. Biffle shouted and ducked away, his hand flying to his side where Rafessor had attacked.

Rafessor's new armor glinted. It appeared tattered, reflecting the look of ripped clothing, but when Biffle clawed at Rafessor, the armor shifted like a mirage, blocking him from cutting through. Biffle's face twisted from confusion to panic.

A shout echoed through the field. Rafessor turned, allowing Biffle to pounce and knock him down. The admin's helmet fell away, allowing Biffle to strike.

Florian turned to the source of the shout. Henwy shakily tried to stand, moving sluggishly and slowly. SSundee had Frost pinned under his boot and sword, the tip hovering just over Frost's neck.

Biffle grabbed Rafessor's head and slammed it into the ground, causing the admin to go limp. Sigils lunged at Biffle and the two tussled.

Jerome leaped at SSundee, knocking him off balance and away from Frost. Frost rolled away as the two locked in a sword fight. SSundee caught Jerome's wrist, making him yelp and drop the weapon. Blood bubbled from the wound. Jerome stumbled back. Frost attempted to shoot a blast of ice at SSundee, but he ducked and it soared past.

A vivid image struck Florian's head. His chest clenched and he gasped. He stood and took off, flying over the gap between the hill and the house. He collided with SSundee, knocking him down. Florian touched the ground, crouched in a battle stance as SSundee recollected himself. He turned, hidden eyes focusing on Florian.

Florian brandished his glowing green sword, gripping the hilt tightly. The two lunged for one another, swords clashing. Florian ducked and darted out of SSundee's reach, then took to the air, flying just over the man. Now that he was down in the battlefield, Florian felt extremely vulnerable, having left his armor at his base. Florian kicked outwards, his foot connecting with SSundee's helmet and knocking it clean off. SSundee grunted and lashed out, grabbing Florian's foot and throwing him against the side of his house. Florian yelped as stars flew across his vision. He hazily looked up, wincing. Three swords hovered around SSundee; Florian's, Jerome's and his own.

Florian squeezed his eyes shut and turned away. Better if it were him.

Henwy struggled to stand, gasping from the effort. His head swam and ached. Everything seemed muffled, like a layer of cotton and mist had laid over everything.

Henwy managed to get himself to his feet. He briefly saw Florian soar past. Jerome was off to the side, drinking a healing potion. A commotion was off to his right. The sounds started to die.

Henwy felt a wave of nausea wash over him. That blow from SSundee really hurt. He stumbled, barely catching himself from falling.

He looked up, spotting Jerome. He was crouched on all fours, stalking towards SSundee. Well, threes considering he had no weight on his bleeding wrist. Frost snapped towards the commotion behind Henwy, then sprinted in that direction.

Henwy turned back as Jerome lunged with a roar. SSundee jumped and whirled, narrowly dodging Jerome's claws. A sword- Jerome's sword -snapped around and pierced straight through his armor. Stabbing through his heart.

Jerome gasped, then fell to the ground, limp.

There was a brief moment of shocked silence.

Then, everything came crashing down on Henwy all at once. He crumbled as the pressure in his chest seemed to explode and rip him open. He screamed both in pain and fury. His wings trembled as he pulled them close to his sides to shelter himself. He heard a dull thud past the ringing in his ears.

Henwy looked up, ignoring all of the pain that was washing through him at that moment. He locked eyes with SSundee, his helmet gone. Florian was lying on the ground, breathing shallowly.

Henwy roared and tried to leap forward at SSundee, to stab him and claw him, but his legs failed and he met the ground again.

"I'LL KILL YOU!" Henwy shrieked. SSundee took a small step back, staring at the body at his feet in shock.

Henwy flared his wings and tried again, this time expecting the wave of pain that coursed through him. Images flickered into view around him; fire, blood, swords, wolves, monsters. SSundee's attention snapped up to Henwy, eyes widening.

Florian struggled to stand, leaning heavily against SSundee's house for support. Upon seeing the illusions surrounding the three, he whispered, "How are you- you shouldn't-."

SSundee's eyes trailed up to something behind Henwy. He took a small step back. A shadow passed over him, but he didn't care to move, standing shakily.

He flared his wings again, preparing to attack despite all of his pain, but froze. All of the illusions vanished immediately, causing Henwy's head to start pounding and the pain to become worse. He stumbled, but turned to the source that caused him to stop.

A high-pitched enderman shriek had broken through the valley.
