The Past - March 15th, during interval

And YOLO they did. And the whole theme became a huge explosion of photos of amazing photos, within the span of 3 days and 17 hours.

" It's wonderful to see how each person views the world, huh?" Haruka whispered as they went back home. It was truism for a simple mind as her.

It truly was wonderful. People got to express their points on contrasting subjects like beauty and decay and it made her happy, happy to the point she feels warm to the touch.

She's blooming with happiness. She's evolving.

An airhead Angel to what, though?

Place your bets people.

And for Chris, it made him realise that people never had the same points of views and that they think almost totally differently.

" Uh- I- I guess......"

She hugged his shoulder and hit him with a question he quite didn't think an answer for. " What are you going to do for this?" He looked at her with a dumb expression.

Like normal dumb times.... I don't know, a million?

" Maybe ask you to confess?" He let his mind wander before snapping back.

" I'm not participating, Haruka" He said, as if it was obvious. She put a knock on his head and chided,"You can't be loving me if you aren't a winner!"

Honestly, Haruka didn't know why her shyness disappears why he's around but, she didn't mind.

" I never asked for your permission in the first place, did I?" He looked at her sideways, wondering his tingly feeling at his shoulder where she was clinging to him.

" I'm already winning." He grinned instinctively.

" Ahem..." She cleared her throat. " Would you be mine?" She said the words she was told a couple weeks ago. Chris chuckled and placed a kiss on her nose carefully.

He was still aware of her promise.

" At least help me make mine!" She puffed her cheeks. But Chris just grinned like an idiot and pinched her cheeks and went on his way.

Something about this worried him.

Something told him not to accept.

" Chris?" Haruka's voice called out to him. He turned around to see her having those hazel puppy eyes and her little mouth shaping a frown with a pout. That requires talent.

" Pleaseee?"

He sighed and ignored his intuition and ruffled her hair. " Alright. What time will you be free tomorrow? Come to my home then" He turned and went on his way, leaving her in the middle of the road.

" MANN!" She yelled inside her mind. " It's so hard to get him to get to be with me!"

" Am I seriously going to his home? IT'S THE FIRST FOR ME!" She yelled inside her mind again.

The next day, a series of knocks were resounding on Chris's door. He forgot again......

Someone get him a doctor who specializes in amnesiac issues....

Someday he's gonna forget who and where he is and end up as a lab rat.

Wait. Didn't he already? Nah...

In the next minute, there was a roar of alarming proportions and the door came crashing with Chris having his hair in a mess, his shirt half the wrong way. Haruka held back a laugh and did a final checkup for him.

After all, it had to be her after their.....ahem...marriage...

And she intended to propose to him today.

Finally. She also wanted to let her end of the promise be fulfilled.

" Shall we go?" Chris put his arm around her shoulder, which she politely took off. She flashed a warning sign that they were gonna go in public.

" Japanese."

APPEARANCES.

SIGH......

Yes it's not like he sighed. It's a way of expression.

" Where are you taking me?" Asked a confused Haruka, to which he replied," A building. It's called Kibō Heights. You might have heard about its failure last year"

Haruka looked at him with a look of surprise. " What? I do my research, you know!" He protested. " Nothing. It's just that I didn't think you'd know about that. Good job, Chris!" She playfully pushed him to the side.

And after about fifteen minutes, they finally arrived at the foot of the 57 floor building, Chris whistled lightly. " Never thought it'd look this tall in person"

" In building" Haruka corrected.

" Ha ha. Very funny." He knocked her on the head.

And she pouted. To make him feel guilty and it worked.

They climbed each floor, with Chris having more doubts by the minute about this place. He was hearing an extra pair of footsteps but he then dismissed it as echoes.

Maybe it was his heart. Maybe it was the reverberating of their soles.

But a part of his soul believed otherwise.....

At the 51st, they took a long time catching their breaths. Chris took his camera and made Haruka to sit at the corner of the balcony which had no railings or any clear end on.

" Is this a bad time to say I'm afraid of heights?" She said in an embarrassed voice which was like a squeal, her almost glowing in the oncoming dusk.

" Stay still, love." He set himself and the tripod for the camera in the perfect position for the perfect shot, for the perfect girl.

" I'm scared......" She let out a plea with a low voice. But in the silent setting of the Sun, it went clearly into Chris's head.

He took his hands off and walked to her with a steady pace, along with a look of no regrets.

" Hey" He took her palm and gingerly kissed the soft and smooth skin of it, sending a shiver up her hand. A shiver of happiness. " I'm still standing with you, Haruka. I'd never let you be alone" He leaned in to kiss her but stopped at the last second, remembering his promise, he turned around a bit, cursing himself.

He said with a disappointed tone.

" I'm sorry, I forgot. But instead of that, can I ask you something?"

She nodded, totally in the dark about it.

As its been laid in stone, A+ airhead.

He walked back and looked into the camera, waiting for a perfect still.

" Will you marry me, Haruka Matoka? When we've grown up?" He said the words she wanted to say to him, calm and collected while adjusting the camera.

She choked back a cry of happiness and whispered," Yes. Yes, I will!" And she she added the words that fulfilled her end of the deal, Chris setting the camera off at the moment of the smile.

And he set it on a timer to burst mode .
