Amy was not able to sleep all night. She kept thinking about what had happened the previous day. She fell asleep in the early morning hours.

The next day, she got up very early. She knocked on Lily's door. She eventually came to open the door. "What happened Amy,?" She said sleepily. "It's so early in the morning."

"Oh, I am so excited about going to a new school that I can't sleep any more."

"Ok, alright. I'll get up. But you don't have to be scared. It will be ok!" replied Lily.

"I am not scared, Lily! I am never scared about going to new places. It's just the thought of making new friends and meeting new people, excites me."

Lily smiled hearing all this.

Soon Lily got ready and they both went down for breakfast. They quickly finished breakfast and went to school early as Amy wanted to explore the school beforehand. They took their bags and started to walk towards the school.

"Oh, Lily! This is so exciting! Is there something you would like to warn me about? " said Amy

"Oh yes! Glad that you asked Amy!
So the canteen food is delicious except for the apple pie. Never eat it! One girl ate it and she fell ill. And there is a boy named Noah. He is bad news! Though he is good looking and everything but stay away. He teases me every day! "

"Alright! I'll stay away from him," Amy chuckled. "Anything else?"

Lily continued to give her details about various things that she should not do and the teachers she should be aware of. Soon, they reached the school.

It was almost empty as they were very early except for a few kids. Lily took Amy to the reception to Mark the presence of her first day like she was told to do. The receptionist gave her the no. of her locker and the locker keys.
Amy went to her locker and kept her books inside. Then they headed towards the classes.

Ivy took her to each and every class, the music room, the canteen but then it was the time for the school to begin so they went towards there first class after taking their book from the lockers.

It was English, which was Amy's favourite. She sat on the seat left to Lily and to her right was a girl with black hair and green eyes. Amy smiled at her but the girl ignored her and looked away to chat with her friends. What's her problem? What did I do? Amy thought.

"Who is she?" Amy asked Lily pointing at the girl who just ignored her. "Ohh she is Olivia Miller. She thinks she is the queen bee of the school. I hate her anyway. Don't talk to her okay?"

At that moment, the English teacher entered and everyone stopped talking. She sat on her chair in front of the whiteboard and started taking attendance. She was calling the names of children and Amy was watching everyone as their names were called, excited to make new friends.

Then the teacher called her name. "present ma'am!" She said. The teacher called her in front of the class and told to introduce herself.

"Hello everyone! My name is Amy Rosewood and I am new to This country. I am very excited to be your ," Amy said and smiled.

Most of the children including the teacher we're impressed by Amy's speaking skills. And then she went back to her seat. She was very attentive in the class and answered all the questions.

When the class was over, she and Lily went to the lockers to fetch the next class' books. But then someone stopped Amy.

"Hey, you!" Olivia pointed towards Amy. She quietly went towards her.

"Yes? What happened?" Asked Amy.

"So you are the new student here, I see. Be aware, you have to listen to everything I tell you or else you will be in deep trouble!" Said Olivia.

"And why should I do so?" Answers back Amy with confidence.

"How dare you answer back to me? You will regret this!" Said Olivia and she flipped her hair and went away with a group of her friends.

"Oh wow, Amy! You are so brave to answer back Olivia," said Lily, admiringly.

"Well, I can't tolerate her at all. I already hate her!" Replied Amy with a frown.

They stopped in front of their lockers. Amy's locker was next to Lilly's.

And then someone knocked on Amy's shoulder. She turned around there was a handsome boy standing there and smiling from her English class but she couldn't remember his name. Amy suddenly felt bewitched by him and was speeches.

"Hey! I am Noah, Noah Williams. I think you are new here aren't you?" Said the boy.

Amy was staring at him. And the boy waves his hand in front of her eyes and she came back to the world.

"Oh sorry! I am Amy Rosewood. Nice to meet you," she smiled.

"Well then see you around," said Noah.

"Yeah alright," replied Amy.

When the boy went away, Lily said, "well he is the Noah I was talking about but I wonder why did he talk to you so nicely? Be never does."

"Maybe he isn't so bad after all," said Amy, blushing.

"Yeah Maybe," said Lily and they went towards their next class.
